153 The issue of fate

After parting ways with Sister Mei, Jiang Yan went straight to his resident hotel.

It has been almost two months since I came to Xiangjiang, and everyone from Xingchenhai Company is still staying in the hotel.

Although Jiang Yan has already purchased two villas in Jiang Yan, they are still renovating them.

Moreover, it is still a luxury to use it as a dormitory. In addition, in half a year, the focus of Xingchenhai's work will shift back to China.

At that time, the focus will be on the houses in Hengdian, the capital city and the base area.

Commercial housing development in the Mainland has just begun, and we will have to start implementing these things after the Xiangjiang premiere.

Buy a house, buy a commercial street property, or even buy land to build a building.

The time is just right, it will be really expensive in a few years.

It was already 9pm when he returned to the hotel. After Jiang Yan simply cleaned up, he went to the conference room temporarily reserved by the hotel.

All employees of Xingchenhai are already in place.

Wu Yong, Zhang Shuang, Gu Hanqing, assistant Xiao Zhou and about 20 other employees, including the screenwriting team, drama team, administrative team and bodyguard team, were all recruited from the mainland and went to Xiangjiang to study after passing the screening.

Plus two artists, Zhou Zhiruo and Wang Hui, and their respective assistants.

Xingchenhai Company now totals more than thirty people in Xiangjiang.

This does not include the five or six employees who have been idle in Hengdian.

This adds up to thirty or forty people.

"I think back then, there were only a dozen of us and seven or eight guns..."

Jiang Yan looked at all these people and sang with emotion.

It made all the old employees laugh.

So everyone started chatting about interesting things from a few months ago.

After enlivening the atmosphere, Jiang Yan started the meeting without talking nonsense.

The meeting is mainly about tomorrow’s premiere and the road show that will start in the Mainland a week later, on November 15th.

There will be three teams in total, Andy Chiu Wai and other Xiangjiang creative teams, Yindu and Mainland China's Luxuan team, and Jiang Yan's own company's team.

Our own team is mainly responsible for study and security assistant work.

After all, I am the one who pays my salary, so I have to use it when it’s time to use it.

Moreover, the touring road shows in the Mainland these days are not like those in later generations. There are many cities and sound theater chains. The most important thing is that they are safe and guaranteed.

So with more people in the road show team, we can feel more at ease.

On the other hand, it actually involves all the guys in the company. Regardless of whether you are a screenwriter or an assistant, you are all personally involved in the growth of the company.

Isn’t that how team culture comes about?

After finishing talking, the time came to half past ten, and Jiang Yan handed everything over to Wu Yong, who was the chief steward.

From tomorrow on, Wu Yong will be the boss, and everyone must obey his orders. Then the meeting will be adjourned.

"Infernal Affairs" is the company's first film, and everyone is very serious about it.

So after the meeting, I went straight back to my room to rest. Starting tomorrow, things will start to get a lot faster, and no one dares to take it lightly.

But when Jiang Yan returned to his room, he found Wang Hui waiting at the door.

Before he could speak, he saw the heavy dark circles under Wang Hui's eyes.

Jiang Yan then remembered.

Wu Yong said that Wang Hui seemed to have not slept for several days recently.

The main reason is probably the overwhelming publicity in Xiangjiang these days.

It may not be true that the people of Hong Kong are eagerly anticipating "Infernal Affairs", but the popularity is definitely the highest in recent times.

Because of this, every actor who participated in the movie was scolded by the Hong Kong media.

Among them, Wang Hui has been interviewed by several media.

Of course, all the interviews he received were superficial interviews. After all, Wang Hui's Cantonese was so rubbish that without a translator, it was simply torture.

But even so, Wang Hui was too excited to sleep.

Jiang Yan didn't believe it at first, but now he couldn't help but shake his head when he saw Wang Hui's appearance.

This guy's psychological quality is really bad!

"As for that, if a small role has done this, how can he take on big responsibilities in the future?" Jiang Yan directly criticized.

However, Wang Hui just smiled awkwardly after hearing this and did not answer first. Instead, he asked with expectant eyes:

"Boss, aren't we going to Hebei to promote? Can I leave a place for my family?"

The roadshow itinerary has been set, and there is indeed one stop in Hebei, but it is not in Xingtai.

So Jiang Yan asked: "Is the theater set in Hebei close to your home?"

"It's not close. It takes five hours by car." Wang Hui said.

"Then why are you going to all this trouble?" Jiang Yan was confused.

But Wang Hui scratched his head in embarrassment, then lowered his head and explained: "My family has always disagreed with me acting outside. They think it is not doing my job properly, so I haven't been home for three years."

"Didn't I act in a movie this time? I called my family and told them, but they didn't believe me, so I wanted to prove it to them."

After saying that, Wang Hui waited for a while and saw that Jiang Yan didn't speak, so he smiled and said: "If it's troublesome, I won't bring it with me. The plan is important..."

But before he could finish his words, he was interrupted by Jiang Yan:

"What a coward. You are as timid as a quail about this. If outsiders see this, our company will be completely embarrassed by you!"

After saying that, he picked up the phone and called Wu Yong. After getting through, he said directly: "Arrange a mainland road show in Xingtai. Everyone has to go and make Wang Hui the main star. Yes, I don't care. I only want to see the results.

."

After Jiang Yan finished speaking, he hung up the phone and said to Wang Hui: "Go to bed. If you let me see dark circles tomorrow, I won't be able to act in the next movie!"

After saying that, go straight through the door.

Wang Hui jumped up happily, thanked him repeatedly, and then left wiping his eyes.

In the room, Jiang Yan was slumped on the sofa, lost in thought.

Today, for him, the gains and insights are huge.

I have reached the level of Hug Thigh, which is worth celebrating.

But for him, the bigger impact was Sister Mei and Wang Hui.

What impressed him most about Sister Mei was the impermanence of fate.

He knows that he will be in this world for many more years.

But he really didn't think much about life and death.

However, Jiang Yan couldn't avoid this issue even if he wanted to when he met Sister Mei.

If you don’t think about it, you really don’t need to think about it?

Sister Mei is not yet his friend, she is just an idol that he respects.

But what if something happens to his friend? Can he save him?

In the past, he didn't have to think about this problem at all. After all, there were many things he couldn't do.

But now that there are golden fingers, whether these things can be done is still a question mark.

However, in his subconscious, he still adheres to the principle of leaving things alone and not interfering.

However, after Wang Hui made a request for such a principle, his ideas were somewhat shaken.

Because of his appearance, the fate of Wang Hui, a man he had never heard of before, completely changed.

The biggest impact this incident had on him was actually the matter of "fate".

After all, Jiang Yan feels that since he was in the entertainment industry, from the moment he wrote "Fairy Tale" or even played the role of Niu Hei, the fate of many people in this world has been different.

In this way, don’t those subconscious principles seem hypocritical?

Jiang Yan feels that he has a headache now and his heart is not clear.

So I subconsciously wanted to rub my temples.

But someone took the lead, it was Zhou Zhiruo.

"Why did you get in?"

Jiang Yan turned to look at Zhou Zhiruo and said in surprise.

"Don't move, I'll press it for you."
