1842 Yucheng Station

Of course, the Tang Army's aircraft would not give up. The bombing was only a matter of time. However, at this moment, dark clouds covered the sky and rain poured down, and the Tang Army's aircraft could not continue to fight.

Lead-gray clouds hung low, as if they were about to crush the war-torn city. The rain poured down, hitting the roofs, streets and the helmets of the soldiers, making a crackling sound.

Unfortunately, this sudden heavy rain not only prevented the Tang army's air raids, but also hindered the construction of the coalition's fortifications.

The construction site that was once in full swing is now muddy, and the soldiers can only hide in simple tents, waiting anxiously for the rain to clear up. The rainwater gathers into streams, washing the ground, and washing away the anxiety and uneasiness in the hearts of the soldiers.

The half-built trenches turned into puddles, and the bunkers without drainage systems were crowded with workers taking shelter from the rain. The thunder was rolling in the sky, which frightened everyone because they had been scared out of their wits by the roar of the Tang Army's planes.

.

At this stormy moment, more than 50,000 soldiers from the Dorne Empire arrived at Yucheng Railway Station in rows of tank cars.

Most of these soldiers came from remote villages. They never thought that the shadow of war would fall on their doorsteps. They didn't even know what kind of ferocious enemy they were going to face.

The steam locomotive filled the station with white smoke, but the smoke was quickly extinguished by the pouring rain.

In the heavy rain, these soldiers opened the door and stepped off the train. Carrying heavy weapons and luggage, they stood blankly on the platform, letting the rain wet their uniforms.

They looked up and saw that the entire train station was in chaos, with soldiers, vehicles and supplies everywhere. The air was filled with a mixture of rain, soil and a fishy smell from an unknown source, mixed with a hint of nervousness.

, reminding them that war is just around the corner.

Because the Tang Army's attack speed was too fast, they had no time to build enough airports, and the air force on the front line was seriously insufficient. Therefore, the Tang Army was not yet able to bomb the railway line between Yucheng and Lanes, and the coalition's troop mobilization was relatively smooth.

.

There was no way, the elves and the Susas Empire quickly surrendered, catching the coalition forces by surprise. The Tang army that went south to capture Bunas was like a sharp knife piercing the heart of the Lions Empire.

The construction of logistics and defense facilities of the coalition forces could not keep up with the speed of the Tang army's advance, which made the coalition forces passive on the battlefield.

The train station was noisy and overcrowded. The Dornish soldiers carrying rifles were yelled at by their superiors and walked outside the station in the rain. They had to make room as soon as possible so that the following troops could get off the train smoothly.

"Hurry up! Hurry up! Don't dawdle! Hurry up!" Dornish officers in raincoats were in better condition. They stood in the distance and shouted at the dilly-dallying soldiers, urging them to act quickly.

Some bearded Dornish soldiers speeded up their pace somewhat. Their average age was over 40 years old, and they had already retired long ago.

Now that the Dorne Empire has recruited them back and sent them to the battlefield, many problems have actually been proven: the human resources of the Dorne army are becoming scarce, and the rate of replenishment of troops can no longer keep up with the rate of consumption.

The shouts were particularly harsh amidst the sound of the rain. The rain hit the helmets, making a tinkling sound, as if playing a chaotic symphony of war.

The artillerymen in the distance had to work even harder. They had to brave the rain to unload the artillery pieces wrapped in gun jackets from the flatbed trains, and then use all their strength to push these heavy big guys outside the train station, and then find a way to hang them.

On the transport car.

Some of these cars were brought over by Dorn's previous troops and were now transferred to help, while some were civilian cars recruited by Lines.

Due to time constraints, there was no time to prepare enough barracks. These support troops who came from afar could only temporarily settle down in camps set up in the wilderness outside the city. Due to time constraints, these troops could only live in tents.

"The tanks haven't arrived yet?" Officer Lynes, who was in charge of liaison, stood beside a Dornish general worriedly and asked as he looked out the window at the crowded crowd on the train platform.

"We don't have many tanks anymore. The factory produces a hundred tanks every month, and the workers have exhausted their strength by working overtime...but the front line is losing 500 tanks a month." Dorne's generals were equally worried.

Almost all of his troops are light infantry, which is not a good sign.

"Based on the actual situation on the battlefield, we have increased the production of anti-tank rocket launchers and grenades... This is the best choice we can make." After he finished speaking, he rubbed the bridge of his sour nose.

In order to cope with the torrent of steel from the Tang Army, Dorne urgently produced 100,000 anti-tank rockets to strengthen the anti-armor capabilities of the infantry.

Compared with the time when the coalition forces first entered the war, the number of anti-tank rocket launchers equipped by the coalition forces near Yucheng has indeed increased significantly. Not only that, the density and quality of anti-aircraft guns near Yucheng have also been greatly improved.

In comparison, the number of tanks and armored vehicles equipped by the coalition forces has been significantly reduced due to high losses and difficulty in production.

At the same time, the air forces of the Lions Empire and the Dorne Empire have also dropped significantly: before the war, the two countries had more than 10,000 aircraft in total, and now this number has dropped to around 5,000.

There are two reasons for this situation. One is due to the loss of the front line. Lanes and Dorne have indeed invested a lot of air power in the Ice Empire, Poplar Empire and Susus Empire. Now these powers have been lost.

Almost exhausted.

Another reason is that both countries are upgrading their air force equipment: both countries no longer produce equipment for the large number of old aircraft they used to equip, including B-17 bombers, Hampton bombers and the like.

They are all seizing time to produce Mirage 1 fighter jets and Sabre fighter jets.

These new aircraft are equipped with warning devices and ejection seats, which can protect the scarce pilots and allow them to survive as much as possible in brutal air battles. For the coalition forces, keeping these pilots alive is a matter of course.

A kind of victory.

Moreover, both countries have begun to equip these fighter jets with first-generation air-to-air missiles, hoping that this new imitation weapon can help them reverse their air inferiority.
