Chapter Thirty-Nine: Allow You to Touch It (Read More)

Lovell put away his paws sarcastically.

Stingy Hermione wouldn't let him touch her! The wolf cub sniffed unhappily and lay on Hermione's lap again.

"Be good, be good~" Hermione touched Lovell's wolf head and patted it twice, "You promise not to stretch out your paws, and I will let you touch it~"

The wolf cub glanced at his paws and sighed.

Unlike cats, the wolf's claws cannot be retracted, so it really can't guarantee Hermione.

Seeing the wolf cub's disappointed look, Hermione chuckled, picked up its fleshy mangosteen-like paw, and placed it on her thigh.

"Seeing as you think so, I'll give you permission to touch it."

"Really?" Lovell's ears suddenly perked up and his eyes lit up. He carefully stretched out his paw and poked Hermione's black leggings twice.

It's nothing special, it just feels more elastic to the touch. The tight and elastic thighs of girls are the embodiment of their youthful vitality.

"Have you had enough fun?" Hermione circled her index finger and thumb and gave the wolf cub a slap on the head.

Lovell chuckled, lay down completely, rested his head on Hermione's thigh, and rubbed his head against it.

"You~" Hermione looked at Lovell with doting eyes. She was becoming more and more fond of this little wolf who was humane and could talk. She wished she could hold her in her arms and give him a kiss 24 hours a day.

Hug high.

"Hermione, your socks smell so good~" Lovell said suddenly after sitting on Hermione's lap for a while.

Hermione's face suddenly turned red, and she mumbled, "These are leggings, no socks..."

Mr. Granger's hearty laughter came from the driver's seat, "Hermione, you see, after the little animals can talk, what they say is unexpected."

The wolf cub was a little confused: The clothes Hermione was wearing looked like socks, so why did she have to say they were pants?

It is indeed difficult to draw the line between leggings and pantyhose. The leggings Hermione wears are technically called leggings. They are a combination of socks and pants, which is very convenient.

After wearing it, it has the three functions of keeping warm, slimming and shaping into one. It is a must-have equipment for girls in winter.

Seeing Lovell sniffing around with a confused look on his face, Hermione simply grabbed the back of his neck and lifted him up, preventing him from lying on her lap, and changed his position to holding him.

.

After being picked up, Lovell's field of vision has broadened a lot. He can see the scenery outside the car window and in front of the windshield. The road in front of the car is empty. Mr. Granger's car is driving very fast, and there are many cars.

The small single-family villas and street trees on the roadside are jumping back quickly.

"Fantastic animals." Although he had already ridden in a car once before, Lovell was still curious about this Muggle transportation animal. "How does it move? What does it usually eat? How do you make it so obedient?"

Yeah, Fox wouldn’t even give me something..."

In the eyes of the wolf cub, the Granger family's car is a special animal. It is quiet and docile and can take on the task of transportation.

Listening to Lovell's words, Hermione and Mr. Granger both laughed.

"Cars are not animals." Hermione patiently explained to Lovell how cars operate, from fossil fuels to the operating principles of internal combustion engines, and then talked about environmental issues.

After Hermione started talking, Lovell fell into a drowsy state. Although Lovell had no interest in the environmental protection mentioned by Hermione, he still learned from Hermione that a car is a non-magical transportation machine.

It is not a living creature.

As Hermione was talking, she suddenly remembered that Lovell had mentioned an unfamiliar name. She narrowed her eyes, pinched the back of the wolf cub's neck and asked, "Who is Fawkes?"

The wolf cub was shocked when the skin on the back of his neck was controlled, and his body stiffened instinctively.

It said in a somewhat deformed voice: "Fox is the phoenix raised by the bad old man Dumbledore. He is very warm when held!"

"Eh? Tell me more about the phoenix!" Hermione became interested in the phoenix Lovell mentioned - this is the phoenix, a creature that only exists in mythical stories.

"What does a phoenix look like?" Hermione's eyes overflowed with curiosity.

"It's about this big." Lovell held out two mangosteens to indicate the size of Fox, and then continued to describe its impression of Fox to Hermione: "It's warm, like a fireplace, but it has a bad temper. Life

The way he behaves is also very strange, but overall he is a very good guy~ By the way, it flies super super fast! It once flew to the beach and caught a fresh fish for me to eat!"

"Wow!" Hermione was fascinated by this. She really wanted to take a look at the legendary phoenix.

Facing Hermione's wish, Lovell was a little disapproving: What's so good about that big bird? It sleeps upstairs above me, and I don't see anything special every day. But since Hermione wants to take a look,

Then let her take a look when she comes to pick me up.

The car was speeding, and by the time Lovell finished telling Hermione about Fawkes, the group had arrived at their destination: the supermarket where Mr. Granger took Lovell to last time.

As soon as they pushed open the revolving door of the supermarket, they went straight to the fresh food counter and bought some extremely expensive steaks.

Lovell was a little confused about the price of these meats. He didn't understand why some meats could be purchased for five pounds per pound, while others were still worth more than twenty pounds after discounts.

Mr. Granger told it that this was caused by different cuts. Steak was more expensive than other cuts. Different breeds of cattle had different prices.

Lovell looked at the bright red meat and fell into deep thought: he had smelled these meats across the counter, and the taste was not much different.

Maybe this is human? Lovell can only attribute the matter to different species.

But when he reached the corner of the counter, Lovell suddenly stopped.

"Is that a rabbit?!" It saw an animal with a strange shape. It was about a foot long and as wide as a palm, with short forelimbs, long hind legs, and a somewhat pointed head.

It quietly asked Hermione, who told it that it was indeed a rabbit.

Lovell: Greedy!

My mouth is watering!

Lovell, a little wolf, has special feelings for small animals such as rabbits, so he couldn't walk after seeing this familiar food.

Hermione stared at Lovell and gently kicked Lovell's butt with her toes: "Rabbit is so cute, how can you eat rabbit?"

Lovell:(`?w?′)

"But I want to eat~" It tilted its head and looked at Hermione eagerly, its eyes full of anticipation.

Hermione:......

Lovell:(??w??)

Please, please!

In the end, the rabbit lost to the wolf.

Here comes the first update~

A little addition: The fish offal that Lovell had hidden before was not discovered by Dumbledore until it started to stink, which directly destroyed one of his carpets. However, when faced with the super cute little wolf cub, Dumbledore chose to forgive it.
