12. Two conditions

Jiang Qiao was almost stunned. He had never seen a girl so exquisitely dressed and so beautiful, like a princess from a fairy tale.

The two looked at each other quietly through the light door.

Sylvie was a little embarrassed when Jiang Qiao saw her, and turned her head slightly, but there was also a kind of sincere joy in her heart, and the corners of her mouth raised slightly.

"Jiang Qiao," she said softly, "It's incredible. How did you open this door? I tried for a long time before, but there was no reaction at all."

Jiang Qiao came back to his senses and pondered: "I don't know exactly how to open it. I only know that two conditions are needed to trigger it..."

"Two conditions?" Sylvie saw Jiang Qiao sitting on the ground, so she simply used her dress as a pad, sat on the ground with her hands on her knees, and listened carefully to Jiang Qiao's words.

"That's right." Jiang Qiao nodded, "I can only roughly feel the revelation of the light gate, maybe it's not accurate."

"First, it needs to be on a full moon night, and second, it needs an object with both auras to trigger it."

Sylvie recalled that the moon tonight was indeed very bright.

She asked: "Then, what is the object that opened the door this time?"

This confused Jiang Qiao: "I don't know very well. It seems that there is nothing around me that meets this condition...except for a cat."

"Cat?" Sylvie was a little surprised.

Cheng Xiaohei seemed to hear someone calling him, so he climbed in through the window next to the door.

"Meow?" It looked at the two of them and cried stupidly.

"What a peculiar cat..." Sylvie observed Xiao Hei carefully for a while.

Then, she said in surprise: "I can feel the magic aura on it!"

"Magic breath?" This time it was Jiang Qiao's turn to be shocked.

Why did Cheng Ruoxi's cat suddenly become associated with magic?

Is this a magical world at all? No, this is not a river.

"There is indeed a magical element in this cat. Look at its eyes, they have a radiance that appears after being washed by magic."

"Is there a possibility that it is wearing contact lenses?" Jiang Qiao complained.

Sylvie rolled her eyes, "Didn't you notice that it has higher intelligence than its ordinary counterparts? All innate magical creatures have this characteristic, and they are highly compatible with magic."

"But I don't know why, this black cat hasn't fully awakened its magical talent. Compared to real magical creatures, it's still a little... dull."

"It's like it's acquired." Sylvie came to a conclusion.

Jiang Qiao also started thinking: "The day after tomorrow...did you eat something strange?"

"That bird!" they both said in unison.

"Yes, it must have eaten that bird to cause such a situation..." Sylvie's eyes suddenly brightened, "I didn't expect that an ordinary bird used for experiments could make a cat

Possessing magical talent."

From this point of view, Cheng Xiaohei is the key to opening the door for the second time.

They all looked at Xiao Hei, but they didn't expect it to jump lightly, jump up the window and run into the yard.

Sylvie then added: "If this is the case, then there must be such an object when you open the door the first time. But what is this thing?"

Opening the door for the first time seemed like an accident, as if there was nothing connecting the two worlds.

The two of them thought about it for a long time but had no idea, so they simply put the problem behind them.

"Oh, right." Sylvie stood up, hurriedly ran to the cabinet at the back, rummaged for a while, carefully took out a book from the bottom, and then quickly walked back.

Jiang Qiao could clearly see that it was his chemistry textbook.

"Since the light door was closed, the words on it have become incomprehensible to me. Your words really have a strange beauty..."

Sylvie opened the book as she spoke, and as soon as she opened it, something strange happened.

The light gate suddenly fluctuated, and a small runic flame separated from it, floating in the air, and then slowly floated towards the book, covering it entirely.

A faint light film gradually formed on the text, and on the light film were words that Sylvie was familiar with.

"It's really more magical than magic." Even though it was the second time she saw this scene, she still couldn't help but sigh.

It seems that only when the light gate connects the two worlds can the information in the book be translated into her mother tongue.

What if I could learn this kind of writing... A small thought came to Sylvie's mind.

But this thought was soon suppressed. How long would it take for her to learn the almost identical square characters?

No longer thinking about this, she continued to read about the "essence of magic".

Metals and their compounds. This is the content of Chapter 3 of Compulsory Course 1 for High School Chemistry published by the People's Education Press.

There are also detailed notes made by Jiang Qiao, which are not in the book.

"Metal generally refers to a type of substance that has a unique luster (that is, strongly reflects visible light), is opaque, is malleable, and conducts heat and electricity..."

"The composition of magnets is iron, cobalt, nickel and other atoms. The internal structure of the atoms is relatively special and has a magnetic moment itself. Magnets can generate a magnetic field and have the characteristics of attracting ferromagnetic substances such as iron, nickel, cobalt and other metals..."

Even though she had already understood the magic of this book and was mentally prepared, Sylvie's heart was still trembling with excitement.

Another true meaning of the magic field is analyzed in such a simple way, with only a few sentences.

Metal magic is also called magnetic magic in Paristia. There are very few magicians who specialize in this kind of magic, because few can achieve pioneering achievements in this field.

Sylvie wanted to take out paper and pen and copy down all this precious knowledge.

But then she thought, if this essential knowledge was discovered by others, it would definitely cause turmoil in the world.

After thinking about it again and again, she still felt that it would be better to keep it in her mind.

Sylvie had a vague idea: She wanted to pretend to be an identity, and then dismantle the knowledge bit by bit, and then publish it in the Magic Annual... This way, she didn't have to worry about being discovered, and it wouldn't cause too much trouble.

of turmoil.

Yeah, perfect. Sylvie liked her idea.

Jiang Qiao didn't know her mental activities, he only saw a good child who was obsessed with knowledge.

"Can you keep this book with me for a while?" Sylvie showed a pleading look, "I will definitely treasure it."

There was another thing she didn't say out loud, that is, she still wanted to meet Jiang Qiao Duoduo, so that she could read the knowledge in this book.

However, isn’t it unladylike to say such a thing?

Jiang Qiao originally planned to get this book back, and then return Cheng Ruoxi's set of books. After all, he couldn't delay others' studies.

But... no one can refuse such a dazzling and pitiful gaze.

"No problem, you can watch it as long as you want." Jiang Qiao thought he was handsome and bared his big white teeth.

"That's great!" Sylvie's smile came from the bottom of her heart, "Thank you for your gift. So, in return, do you want to learn magic?"
