Late at night, the pale moonlight shines in through the wooden hollow windows, and the figures drag on the ground.
Every time I lift my foot, the wooden stairs will make a "creak" sound, like the sound of a mouse.
When I got to the third floor of the ancient pagoda, I didn't dare to turn on the flashlight for the time being, because I was afraid of being discovered by people on night duty in the scenic area.
At the moment, I can only see with the faint moonlight.
There are five Buddha statues on the second floor, one big and four small.
There are three Buddha statues on the third floor, two large and one small.
There is also a square altar in the middle of the third floor, surrounded by wooden railings. Because no one can usually go up here, the wooden railing is just a symbolic protection. It is about one meter high. I stepped over it as soon as I lifted my foot.
Then I looked up.
I saw the gilt Buddha smiling, his eyebrows lowered, and at the same time his right hand came down, pointing right at my head.
This downward-pointing gesture is called "touching the ground to subdue demons". I thought silently in my mind: "Amitabha, believers just want a little money to settle down and settle down, so don't blame me."
There are also two smaller Buddha statues, one sitting cross-legged on the left and the other on the right. If you look at the face, it looks like Manjusri and Samantabhadra.
After watching it for a while, I noticed a detail.
The "gold paint" on the belly of the main statue is slightly different from other places, but the color doesn't look old enough.
I immediately climbed onto the lotus platform and gently tapped this area with my hand.
The sound is solid and nothing unusual.
I only learned about this later. In the autumn of 1974, two local pagoda repair workers accidentally damaged the belly of the Buddha statue. They saw something like a "night pearl" shining brightly.
I bent a piece of wire and stretched it into my stomach, and took out more than a dozen things.
The ones that glow are cat's eye, one of the Seven Treasures of Buddhism, as well as a pure gold sutra tube, a Liao Dynasty Juan painting and a silver box filled with colorful crystal beads. Later, the Cultural Affairs Bureau was arrested because of this incident.
The bellies of all the Buddha statues in the pagoda were thoroughly checked to see if there was anything hidden.
I didn't know about this at that time, so when I found something unusual about the golden paint on the belly of the Buddha statue, I focused my search on this area, but naturally I found nothing.
As mentioned before, there is a dark layer between the brackets on each floor. There happens to be a ladder on the third floor window, which may have been used for maintenance in the past.
I used the ladder to successfully climb into the dark layer between the third and fourth floors.
This place is very short, only about one meter high, and there are many old wooden stakes fixed on the left and right sides in an "X" shape.
I squatted half-crouched, stepped over these wooden stakes one by one, and climbed to the deepest part of the dark layer.
Turn the flashlight to the weakest level and search here inch by inch.
There are rotten wood piles and cobwebs everywhere,
Suddenly! I saw a "person" leaning against the corner.
In such a dark and small place, this scene shocked me instantly.
This "person" was motionless, and the whole thing was covered with a yellow cloth. The yellow cloth was also covered with dust. From my side, I could only see the outline of his head and arms.
After a brief shock, I moved closer and slowly picked up the yellow cloth with my feet.
Where there are people, there is an adult-sized statue here. The statue raised its left hand and looked at me angrily with its mouth open. It seemed that it must have held some kind of weapon in its hand.
I think there are two possibilities for this thing. One is that it was moved here for storage a long time ago because it was in disrepair. The other is that it was originally here, guarding the dark attic as a protector.
I was very excited before I came in, but I haven't found anything valuable yet. I bowed to the statue and turned around to leave.
At this time, I suddenly stepped on something hard.
It was a pendant, shining golden light under the flashlight.
This is a small gourd-shaped pendant made of pure gold. Pick it up and take a closer look. There is also a stamp of "999 pure gold" engraved on the back.
I couldn't help laughing immediately.
What the hell, who dropped it here?
Without hesitation, I just put it in my pocket. Even if it costs two hundred yuan per gram, this thing can be sold for at least two to three thousand yuan, so the trip will not be in vain.
In this way, I searched all the way to the sixth floor of the tower. I looked for all the places in the tower where cultural relics might be hidden, but nothing was found. It seemed that they had been searched before.
However, we saw a lot of exquisite murals and wooden statues of various shapes, including prone ones, lying down, holding weapons, riding elephants, etc., from the Liao Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty.
I took out my cell phone and checked the time. It was still early before dawn. When I looked at the ticket office from the sixth floor, it was completely dark. The gatekeeper was probably asleep.
After resting for a while, I wanted to light a cigarette out of habit to refresh myself, but then I thought about this, this is a thousand-year-old wooden pagoda, and if it caused a fire, I would be a sinner through the ages, so I didn't dare to smoke.
"Jingle Bell!"
"Jingle Bell!"
Now that we were in a higher position, we could hear the sound of the wind chimes more clearly, as if they were ringing in our ears.
Suddenly I had a bold idea in my mind.
Do you want to continue climbing?
Climb to the highest point and go up to the tower to see if there is any hidden heavenly palace.
Has anyone climbed up it over the years?
But will anyone find out? What if my foot slips?
The Tasha is too high from the ground. If a person falls and it is difficult to collect his body, he may have to use a shovel.
After some inner struggle, I made up my mind.
climb!
Go up and take a look!
My ability to climb trees is the best in the North, and I should be about the same when climbing towers! I definitely have this confidence!
Many people have never seen this kind of pagoda up close. In fact, it is divided into many parts, including a bowl, a necklace, a dew plate, a pearl, a crescent moon, a lightning rod, etc.
When the ancient pagoda was completed, the scaffolding was removed. There was no entrance from the sixth floor of the pagoda to the surroundings of the pagoda, because in ancient times the pagoda was a restricted area, and its nature was the same as the underground palace. One was in the sky and the other was underground.
, one cannot be seen and one cannot be touched.
The wooden pagoda in Yingxian County only has an iron chain hanging down from the top. It is said that it was a chain added during the Qing Dynasty. If you want to go up, besides taking a helicopter, this is the only way!
Even if my climbing skills were excellent, it still took a lot of effort to climb up from the sixth floor window.
As soon as we came up, the wind suddenly blew!
The collar and hair were all blown up by the wind!
This is not a flat surface, this is a completely funnel-shaped 60-degree slope! Now, I have to walk up a slope to the other side of the tower, and then grab the hanging chain from there.
Hearing the whistling wind in my ears, I looked up for two minutes, took a deep breath, and began to move cautiously in that direction.
I crawled forward little by little, not daring to look down at all.
A few minutes later, I grabbed the cold iron chain, and then I slowly stood up holding the iron chain.
Take another deep breath.
We have reached the first step, and we have to go up and find out everything.
I silently recited the blessings of my ancestor, then I grabbed the iron rope and climbed up with all my strength.
Perhaps my ancestor really blessed me, because the strong wind stopped after I climbed a few steps.
At this moment, if someone is looking up from the sightseeing position on the first floor, they will definitely see a dark shadow clinging to Tasha's big bowl.
This pagoda was built nearly a thousand years ago. I don’t know when the last time anyone climbed up was. It might have been decades or hundreds of years ago. This was my first time climbing a pagoda and I had never tried it before.
Halfway through the climb, I found several bird nests hidden in the depressions of the mantle and the phase wheel. Many birds were resting in the nests.
These birds are not afraid of people at all, which may be the reason why the scenic spot never drives them away, because it is said that these birds are the reason why the surface of the wooden pagoda has not been infested with borers for thousands of years.
These birds looked at me, and I stared at them, and two kept flying around my head.
I grasped the iron rope tightly with one hand and kept chasing the birds with the other hand.
The next second I felt hot on my head, and I knew it was a bird pooping.
"Dead bird! Get out! Get out!"
The harder I hurried, the more birds chirped in my ears! I was distracted by my delusions.
I kept telling myself to focus and not to be distracted by these birds, because if I were distracted, I would definitely die!
I just ignored it and let them shit on my head.
It was less than 20 meters and took more than half an hour to climb.
The moment I grabbed the edge of the tower, I pulled up.
Panting heavily, my back was covered with sweat.
This is not only a physical exertion, but also a mental drain.
At this moment, there is only a metal lightning rod above my head. Above are the clouds and stars. Looking down will cause a brief feeling of dizziness.
The entire pagoda has an area of about five or six square meters. Through the moonlight, I could see the lotus pattern painted on the cover at a glance.
Normal lotus patterns are "vertical" in shape, but these lotus patterns are "horizontal" in shape, just like a half-lying lotus. This is actually called "Yanglian".
Once you see the lotus pattern here, there is a high probability that there is a "heavenly palace".
Lotus represents Buddha, and the lying lotus flower can be interpreted as "lying Buddha" in a sense, which alludes to the place where Buddha is buried.
I don’t believe in Buddhism like Brother Yu. At the same time, I don’t want things like relics hidden in the Heavenly Palace, because those kinds of objects are taboo and difficult to cash in on the market! I hope they are gold and silver items, such as gold offerings.
, or the Golden Buddha, or simply the Seven Treasures of Buddhism.
Of course, this is just my hope. It will remain a mystery until the exact location of the Tiangong is found and opened.
The size of the Tiangong is not large. According to my past experience, it is about the size of an urn and a half. The ancients were very wise, especially for this kind of tower with the background of the Liao royal family. Even if you know that there is a Tiangong here, it is not easy to find it. It was designed to prevent theft.
This function.
If an ordinary person discovers the "Yanglian" pattern, they will definitely start here.
But I am not an ordinary person, I am a professional, and I know there must be a mystery behind it, maybe there is an alarm behind it.
The wind blew again, which made people unable to open their eyes. I lay on my back, took out the knife, and slashed my arm hard!
Blood flowed suddenly.
I quickly raised my arms high and placed them close to the top of the tower bowl.
Then, the blood flowed down little by little, and I carefully observed whether there was any place where it could penetrate halfway.
If there is no response in one place, just change it to another place. It won't be too far away from Yanglian, just around here.
Some people may ask, why don’t you use water or simply use urine?
Because I have no water! And I am so nervous that I can’t pee!
Another advantage of using blood is that the color is bright enough and obvious enough.
Breathing rapidly, I stared at the place where the blood was slowly flowing without blinking.
Soon, I discovered something unusual.
Use a knife to pry open this place, and inside there is a layer of dusty sandalwood wood board.
The wooden board was pried open again, followed by a square brick.
Under the moonlight, I suddenly saw a complete human handprint printed on the square brick.
