08. Escape! Zerg lair!

"Don't point the gun at yourself." MPSS frowned and reminded, fearing that Mu Su's hand would slip and the gun would kill him.

Mu Su pointed his gun at the MPSS and pointed at it with a strange look: "Then I'll point it at you, okay?"

MPSS dodged, Mu Su moved the muzzle of the gun, MPSS dodged again, Mu Su pointed again. The two childish ghosts started to play like this.

Captain Dragonfly sighed: "Let's go quickly, the sound of gunfire may attract insects."

Musu didn't want to leave, and suddenly his body lost weight. It turned out that Yinghua picked him up again.

Mu Su muttered a few words and became quiet.

After rushing out of the laboratory, I saw more than a dozen bugs following the sound outside the fence. These bugs were hiding somewhere, they seemed to be everywhere, and a little noise could disturb a large group.

"Just rush over." Captain Dragonfly shouted, stepping forward and rushing forward.

The players followed one step behind, still vaguely protecting Mu Su in the center. Mu Su narrowed his eyes as the hunting wind sounded in his ears, naively thinking that he would kill everyone with one shot.

The Desert Eagle has seven bullets, and there are exactly seven players left. Wait, no... I just fired a shot, and there are still six bullets left...

"Musu——"

Hmm... then just keep this mount for easy messing with. There is no use in keeping it for other players, so just feed it to the bugs.

"Musu!"

There was a sudden shout in his ears, and Mu Su came back to his senses and found that everyone was looking at him.

Captain Dragonfly said: "What do you think?"

In just one minute, they had rushed to the entrance of the subway station. The entrance was in ruins like the surrounding area, but a very suspicious hole as high as one person was dug out.

There must be bugs down there, and in the worst case scenario, there might even be a bug nest down there.

"Yeah, okay." Mu Su vaguely agreed.

Then Yinghua put him down.

Captain Dragonfly gave a few simple reminders: "After the water fountain and the flying cow are broken, Mu Su, you have to follow us closely."

"Call me Bruce Wayne."

"Okay Wayne." With no time to complain, Captain Dragonfly looked around and said, "Let's go."

A group of players stepped into the subway station through the hole.

The sound of footsteps echoed in the quiet space, and the safety passage signs glowed with a faint green light. All the flashlights were turned on, and the beams of light swayed to illuminate the surroundings.

Half of the subway station collapsed, and large stones were scattered on the tiled floor, making sharp and unbearable sounds when stepped on and scratched.

The black light shines behind a stone, and a piece of blood-stained clothes hangs on it.

"Insects have been here, be careful." Captain Dragonfly held the compass in his left hand and relied on it to identify the direction.

After slowing down and advancing dozens of meters, the players climbed over the fence and stopped in front of a wide downward passage.

I looked down and saw with my flashlight that it was pitch black more than ten meters away and I couldn't see the bottom.

A faint cool breeze blew from below, and the indescribable smell was mixed with bursts of strange noises.

"Did you hear it?" Captain Dragonfly lowered his voice and asked the people around him.

A stone suddenly rolled down from his feet and jumped down the steps.

The sound of falling was not loud but clear and sounded continuously.

The players held their breath and listened. The rolling sound gradually disappeared, and no other sound came...until the next second, a strange scream echoed from the darkness below.

"Hurry up!" Captain Dragonfly shouted and tied the flashlight to his shoulder. He took the lead in rushing down with the compass in his left hand and the sword in his right hand.

The underground passage is only twenty or thirty meters long. When you come down from the stairs, you can already see that the ground in front of you has sunk down, revealing a long track.

A sparse sound rushed into the ears, and the echo echoed and it was difficult to distinguish the specific direction. Several flashlight beams were illuminated in the general direction, and they saw a few low-level insects rushing towards the people.

Under the flickering beam of light, the Zerg looked even more ferocious, with its six jointed limbs moving rapidly alternately like a giant spider.

Bang--

The deafening gunshot caused everyone to frown subconsciously. A bug in front of Captain Dragonfly had a bloody hole in its head and fell to the ground twitching.

"Pay attention to safety, don't take risks." Captain Dragonfly looked back at Mu Su who raised his gun, warned him, and rushed forward first.

Gan!

Mu Su cursed in his heart and missed again.

The dragonfly captain jumped up high and stabbed down with his sword from above. The top of this bug is a blind spot. The biological characteristics make it impossible for them to respond to attacks from above.

Except for Duanhou and the players who were protecting Mu Su, the other players swarmed in, seemingly thrilling, but actually they easily eliminated these bugs.

"We have to hurry up." Captain Dragonfly jumped off the track and shouted. In the distance, the screams of insects could be heard.

Players jumped into the subway one after another and ran forward quickly.

A few bugs came towards them, and were dragged and killed by the players who rushed forward, and then they caught up.

The invisible bugs behind you are approaching quickly.

"Sakura!" Captain Dragonfly shouted.

Musu, who was paddling along, suddenly lost his feet and was picked up by Yinghua again.

Everyone speeded up and rushed all the way. There was an endless stream of bugs on the road. They dug large and small holes in the inner wall, going in and out. They only reacted when everyone passed by, and they caught up with them late.

This scene of dense holes did not change even after running for a hundred meters. Captain Dragonfly looked ugly: "This is the Zerg nest. The plan has changed, and we will return to the ground at the next site!"

The next stop is 1.5 kilometers away, and it only takes 2 minutes to run at full speed, assuming there are not a lot of bugs blocking it.

"I suspect you are a mole." Mu Su, who was lying leisurely in Yinghua's arms, squinted over and slapped her down.

[You are here...why...you are with those damn...human beings...]

A gentle and mature female voice sounded in my mind.

The female insect successfully contacted Mu Su at this time!

They held me hostage!

Musu thought to himself, but found that the female insect couldn't hear it, so she repeated it in a low voice.

Yinghua vaguely heard something and looked down.

[My children...will save you...wait for me...]

A nice voice sounded, and Mu Su felt that she was about to fall in love. As for feeling sorry for Kallen and so on... let’s not talk about the relationship with Kallen. Having feelings for a game character... does not count as a transference relationship.

Here, the players suddenly found that the bugs behind them suddenly became impatient and screamed continuously. The bugs in front that could have been avoided also rushed towards them regardless of their own safety.

They attributed the problem to breaking into the Zerg nest and causing the Zerg to become restless.

They were just low-level bugs, and they didn’t form a bug wave. After all, they couldn’t do anything to these players. No one was injured after running all the way to the Venice site.

The players jumped onto the passage and headed all the way up, screaming behind them as they gradually moved away.

【I...can't feel you anymore...where are you...?】

The cry of the female insect rang in my mind.

"Huh huh huh huh...hahahahahahahahahaha-" Mu Su suddenly sneered a few times and laughed loudly.

The panting players looked at each other, and MPSS asked in confusion: "Why are you laughing?"

Mu Su snorted coldly and suppressed his smile: "I don't laugh at others. I only laugh at the Zerg, which has no plans, and the female worms have little wisdom. What would happen if I, for the Zerg, ambush a group of people here at the Wells site? Hahaha

Ha ha--"
