Chapter126 Unheard information about [Bad Land]

The underground world of Shining Silver Mountains.

After a small victory, the rats retreated deeper, and the soldiers of the Emerald Territory successfully occupied the new stronghold.

Due to the shortage of manpower in the army and fear of being divided and destroyed by the red-skinned demon rats, Lester decided to stop exploring the underground world, gather troops, and concentrate on building an underground fortress.

The dome is made up of exquisite black carved stone slabs. Eighteen black stone pillars with human faces stand under the dome in a harmonious distribution rule. A black human-shaped stone sculpture stands in the center. It is impossible to distinguish between men and women. You can only see them.

The figure appears to be a warrior holding a hammer.

There is no doubt that this is an ancient ruins, but unfortunately no treasure chests or treasures have been found until now, or maybe they were moved away by rats.

Lester stood in the ruins, carefully observing the carvings and pictures on the black round stone pillars, trying to understand the civilization and history here.

Meredith stopped in front of the tall black stone sculpture, observing with interest the warriors holding hammers and wearing heavy armor.

The remaining warriors were on guard at the periphery, ready to respond to attacks from the red-skinned demon rats.

In the underground world, there is no absolutely safe position. All you can trust is the sword in your hand and the armor on your body. This is a valuable experience gained with many lives. The soldiers of the Black Iron Guard have long understood this.

"Lord Leicester, what kind of monster do you think this is?"

Margaret's voice came from behind, and Lester turned around and came to where Margaret was.

It was a corner of the ruins. Looking in the direction Margaret pointed, Leicester couldn't see clearly between the light and dark of the torch.

"Meredith, use Illumination."

"OK."

As the brilliant magical white light shone on the dome, Lester could see clearly what was ten meters high.

It was a stone sculpture squatting on a black stone beam, with huge bat-like wings and sharp teeth.

The monster's body seems to be covered with scales, and its short and thick right hand holds a chain hammer carved from black stone. The monster's mouth is wide open, and its eyeballs are as big as half a fist. It is lifelike and ferocious, as if it will appear in the next second.

Break free from the shackles of the stone shell, fly up from the beam, and eat human flesh and blood.

Evil and cruelty is Leicester's perfect definition of stone sculpture.

Judging from the appearance alone, it looks like some kind of monster like a gargoyle. Lester is not sure whether this thing can be called a gargoyle.

At least in the alliance game, he has never seen anything like this alien hell creature.

"This is a dragon-scale gargoyle, a powerful monster born in the [Bad Land]."

Meredith came over and attracted their attention with her words.

"Dragon Scale Gargoyle? Where is [Badlands]? Can you tell me more about it?"

Lester was a little curious. This kind of intelligence touched his blind spot and made him understand that the world intelligence in the Alliance game only showed the tip of the iceberg in Rune Continent.

For reference, if you think you have all the information and act unscrupulously, it will only make your death ugly.

Only by developing in a low profile and doing things in a high profile can you live longer and more comfortably.

"The information about the [Bad Land] is recorded in the ancient Shuriman language on the ancient scrolls of Valoran in the library of Black Rose Academy. It is a place discovered by a mysterious magic society in ancient times when it encountered an invasion from another world."

Different Space], the lucky survivors recorded what they saw and heard,

[Badland] is similar to the Yodel people's [Bander City], with its whereabouts erratic.

The bad land will lock a certain space in the material plane without warning, making it impossible for people to leave through teleportation magic.

After the space is sealed, badland monsters will invade the material world by opening space portals. The monsters will get what they want through any means, and then leave through the portal.

At least according to records, the monsters in the Badlands always like human flesh and blood in the material world. As for whether the soul will also be affected, we don’t know. In short, these are a group of greedy and powerful monsters from another world, Valoran.

Enemy of all living things on the continent,

I thought this was just an ancient legend recorded on a scroll, but I didn’t expect that today I would actually see the statue of the monster in the badlands. It is true that the world is so big and full of wonders."

With a sigh, Meredith smiled at the two curious people.

"As for the origin of this dragon-scale gargoyle, there are only a few strokes on the scroll.

It roughly means that a gargoyle with the blood of a dragon will turn into an indestructible stone statue during the day to recover its lost body, and at night it will turn from a stone statue into a brutal monster that eats human flesh and blood and likes to beat humans alive.

The more there are, the more powerful the gargoyle becomes. The dragon scales on its body are indestructible and can resist magic and swords. Only a true warrior can cut off the gargoyle's head and kill the gargoyle completely."

"So, at least the builder of this ruins has seen and defeated the dragon-scale gargoyle, otherwise he would not have carved the dragon-scale gargoyle into a sculpture as a decoration for his ruins in a showy way."

"So far it seems like this. What they worship is the warrior holding the hammer, not the gargoyles that are placed in an inconspicuous place to decorate the solemn hall."

"Then the big-eyed tentacle demons on the stone pillars and the huge skeletons are probably also badland monsters?"

Following Lester, Meredith and Margaret came to the thick stone pillar that Lester had just observed.

On top of the stone pillar, there was a bearded man holding a weapon and a human-faced shield, bravely trampling on the corpse of the big-eyed tentacle monster, and carrying a huge skull in his left hand, looking like a winner.

In terms of carving style and level of detail, the stone pillar in front of you can be regarded as a masterpiece.

"If I guess correctly, the one-eyed tentacle monster is the [Beholder] described in the scroll, and the owner of the skeleton should be the [Skeleton Guard] among the badland monsters. They are all very difficult badland monsters.

The beholder will create illusions on its enemies, causing them to lose themselves and even kill each other. Its tentacles can easily crush weak flesh and blood.

The Bone Guard is immortal. Unless it is completely defeated with magic that cannot resurrect it, it is impossible to kill the Bone Guard simply by attacking with weapons."

"It seems that the owner of this ruins is not simple. To be able to defeat these badland monsters, he must have powerful skills and power inheritance.

I just took a look around. There are many strange mechanical works on the stone carvings. Their styles are incompatible with the surface world. Perhaps the rats used some of the heritage of this ruins to create powerful hand crossbows and magic steel swords. That is to say

, this ruins is far more than just this main hall, there is probably an advanced forging room or technical workshop deeper inside."

Seeing the two women's eyes light up, Lester smiled.

"As long as we defeat the mouse, these will belong to us."
