Volume 4 Summary

Although there are still a few chapters until the protagonist leaves Shangjing, it’s a good idea to end the fourth volume with returning home.

So let’s divide the volumes here.

As for the fourth volume, I am personally very satisfied.

As for the trip to Beijing, Chu Qianqiu has basically accomplished all his goals here.

He investigated the mystery of General Long and found the whereabouts of the millennium bug and the Li children.

The secret of the Xiao family's royal family was revealed, and at the same time, the irresolvable conflict between the Shenwei Army and the court was resolved in the form of a coup.

Many of the holes buried in the front have also been filled.

Since the emperors died (and became Chu Qianqiu's treasured soldiers), those who survived could re-establish the balance.

Of course, this will create new problems. Due to the coup, the authority of the Xiao family royal family has been weakened, stimulating careerists to start challenging the royal authority.

For example, some people will claim that Emperor Mu Zong did not die, but was placed under house arrest by the empress, and they rebelled under his banner, etc.

It does not mean that everything will be fine if the rebellion is successful.

Chu Qianqiu just chose the method with less bloodshed, which could not stop the world from falling into chaos.

Therefore, he did his best for the world and also to reduce the cruelty caused by the decline of the world. He decided to go to Fengzhou to solve the famine problem in Fengzhou, and at the same time, he also wanted to have local friction and competition with Daxia Luozhou.

So the next content belongs to the fifth volume "The Wounds of the Empire"

In this volume, characters such as the masters of King Kong Temple, the goddess of Hehuan Sect, the Wushuang Princess of Daxia, the saint of Tianfeng Sect, etc. will also appear here, as well as the situation in Fengzhou, the relationship between Buddha, Demon and Taoism.

The resurgence of evil spirits, etc.

Finally, let me explain the issue of rhythm.

In addition to the author's lack of personal writing ability, the fundamental reason lies in Chu Qianqiu's character design.

He is more cautious in doing things and likes to take the initiative. With the golden finger of time loop, he will not take the initiative to kill himself unless he is satisfied.

Because I have seen many time loop stories or movies, the biggest dissatisfaction I have is that the protagonist’s utilization of Goldfinger really dissatisfies me.

I understand that this is a compromise for the sake of story, but when I think about it, in terms of rationality and rhythm, I prefer rationality.

So it seems a bit procrastinating. This is purely due to my lack of personal writing ability. I can only improve it slowly, but I can't change it suddenly, otherwise I'm afraid I won't be able to control it.

Finally, I would like to thank my friends who have supported me all the way. I did not expect that this book would have reached 1.4 million words. Even I was very surprised.

Without everyone's support, we wouldn't be where we are today.

thank you all
