The Tao of Golden Elixir can be divided into four realms from low to high:
Refining essence into Qi, refining Qi into spirit, refining spirit into void, refining void into Tao.
It can be subdivided into Qi refining, foundation building, golden elixir, Nascent Soul, spirit transformation, integration, and overcoming tribulation.
In the later stage of becoming a god, you can ascend to heaven;
After overcoming the tribulation, one becomes an immortal.
Immortal immortality.’
‘Strictly speaking, the Qi refining period does not count as practicing Taoism. Qi refining only proves that a person has a ‘Tao connection’ and can sense the aura of heaven and earth.
The foundation building stage is the beginning, and the golden elixir stage is the beginning.’
‘During the Qi refining period, you open up a mysterious orifice, sense the aura of heaven and earth, and use the aura to travel around your body;
In the foundation building stage, open up the lower Dantian space, gather the spiritual energy of heaven and earth into it, and condense it into a spiritual energy group; use the spiritual energy group to support the space, absorb and release the spiritual energy, and travel around the body and the sky. Condensing one spiritual energy group is the first level of the foundation building stage, and condensing two
The spiritual energy group is the second level of the foundation building stage... Condensing nine spiritual energy groups of the same size is the completion of the foundation building stage;
Remove the Heavenly Soul from the body, use the Heavenly Soul as a guide, and fuse the nine spiritual energy groups into one to form a golden elixir of a fixed size, which is the golden elixir stage;
Open up the middle Dantian space, use the golden elixir as the basis, extract the earth soul, and condense the earth soul Yuanying, which is the Yuanying stage;
Opening up the upper Dantian space, using the golden elixir and Yuanying as the basis, cultivating the human soul and condensing the divine soul is the stage of spiritual transformation;
In the later stages of the transformation stage, you can ascend to heaven;
When the heavenly soul golden elixir, the earthly soul Yuanying, and the human soul are combined into one, it is the integration stage;
After the integration period, the soul and body undergo nine thunder baptisms, which is the tribulation period;
After passing through the tribulation, you will become an immortal.
Immortal immortality.’
Through these days of understanding, Tianci also confirmed his level of cultivation: the first level of the foundation building stage. Nowadays, as the practice of Taoism declines, there are fewer and fewer people practicing it; as the base decreases, the practice of Taoism must also decline. This is an endless cycle..."

‘Although practice is difficult and boring, once you succeed in practice, the rewards you get will be rich. Not only will you have extraordinary Taoist abilities, but you will also have a lifespan far beyond that of ordinary people...’
According to senior brother Jingyong Zhenren, combined with the records in relevant books:
A mortal who has no illness or disaster in his life can enjoy 120 years of positive life. However, from the day a person is born, he has been burdened with family merits and karma. Those who can enjoy a full 120 years of positive life are only a handful in the vast world.
Practicing as a monk can extend your life span.
During the Qi refining period, by sensing the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and absorbing the spiritual energy to circulate in the body and refine the body, one can enjoy a complete 120-year Yang life;
Starting from the foundation building stage, each time you advance to a higher level, your remaining life span will be doubled.
For example, given by God, if you successfully refine Qi at the age of 10, you can enjoy a full 120-year Yang life, that is, the remaining 110 years of Yang life;
After seven years of successful foundation building, the remaining Yang life will be doubled, that is, (110-7) × 2 equals 206 Yang life;
If it takes another twenty years to successfully form the elixir, the remaining life span will be (206-20)×2 equal to 372 years;
If it takes another fifty years to condense the Nascent Soul, the remaining Yang life will be (372-50)×2 equal to 644 years;
And so on.
'Of course, everyone's circumstances are different, their cultivation methods are different, and their longevity is very different.
Peng Zu was eight hundred years old, but he was still in the Nascent Soul stage.’
