Chapter 12 Paracelsus? (1)

The sleeping dungeon was awakened by the sudden sound of clear footsteps.

The sound of footsteps that no one would notice outside was a loud noise in this dead dungeon, scaring away rats and various unknown poisonous insects.

Giovanni held a torch and climbed down the stairs. All the cells along the way were empty, and there was no one in sight. Giovanni reached the bottom of the dungeon, opened the iron rope, and pushed open the wooden door.

Avicenna is still locked there with twenty chains. From the first day Avicenna was imprisoned here, the island republic did not provide him with any water or food - Avicenna was tied up like this

Senna was unable to eat alone, and no one was willing to come close to him to feed him. An ordinary person would have died of thirst and starvation long ago in prison. But Avicenna was still able to barely survive.

Giovanni saw a ball of water surrounding him that shouldn't be there. Avicenna opened his mouth as much as possible to let more water flow into his throat. A fly buzzed in the cell

Flying, when it was within two meters of Avicenna, a strong wind suddenly caught it and threw it into Avicenna's mouth. Avicenna chewed the fly in with a "squeaking" sound.

into his stomach, and then continued to open his mouth and suck in the water he conjured with magic.

"You can obviously use magic to create water, but you can't use magic to create food? I guess the things you can create with magic are only limited to inorganic substances?"

Giovanni's voice alarmed Avicenna. He wiped away the water created by magic, then lowered his eyes and looked at Giovanni condescendingly. Giovanni wanted to wait for him to say something, but from Avicenna

All that came out of his throat was a sneer.

"Avicenna, I have read the report of your battle with the Pirate Kingdom. You have eliminated wood, steel, fire, thunder, and soil, and created wind, silver needles, and nitric acid. But you have never directly eliminated anything you did.

Right man, now you have created water, but you cannot create food, so I have every reason to conclude that you cannot create organic matter."

Avicenna continued to sneer.

Seeing that Avicenna didn't reply, Giovanni tried to irritate him: "Avicenna, others seem to be afraid of you, but it seems that you are nothing more than that. You cannot create organic matter - I remember, a few years ago,

There are rumors in the Island Republic that there is an alchemist who created living people, and that legendary alchemist alone is much stronger than you."

Avicenna continued to sneer. This made Giovanni feel a little regretful: the alchemist's creation of man was just an unrealistic urban legend. He used this to test Avicenna, but of course he could only be rejected by Avicenna.

laugh at.

Giovanni could not bear to be so slighted.

"John de Lupisisa and the group of alchemists have been released. Isn't it hard to be alone?" He taunted Avicenna, "But it doesn't matter. Wait until tomorrow, and you can go there."

Guillotine."

Avicenna was still there sneering.

"Don't think you can find a chance to run away. If we really want to pull you from here and push you to the guillotine, we will definitely use drugs to make you comatose first. Ah - no, you are a doctor, maybe you can use magic to get the antidote.

But that’s okay, just use my fists to physically stun you just like when you were brought in.”

Avicenna sneered and shook his head.

Giovanni suppressed his anger in his heart and continued:

"But you have a chance to survive now. The fleet of the Seven Hills Empire is approaching the Island Republic with bad intentions. We need powerful magicians to fight for us. As long as you are willing to assist the Island Republic, you will naturally be released."

Avicenna finally stopped laughing, but the words that came out of his mouth next caused a chill to rise up Giovanni's back:

"You said you need powerful magicians? The two elves who captured me are not enough? - Ah, yes, if they are still there, you can't let me out. In other words, the pirates

The people from the kingdom have left, and there is no magician on the island who can match me, right?"

Giovanni raised his voice to embolden himself: "Avicenna, even if the people from the Pirate Kingdom are not here, our island republic still has its own elves. I am just here to give you a chance! Even without you, just rely on me

We can handle it ourselves!”

"Really? Why do I feel that your island republic has been cornered?"

"What can a person like you who is locked up in prison know?"

"According to the regular judicial procedures of the island republic, the release of those alchemists will have to wait until at least tomorrow. But they were released a week ago. Doesn't this mean that your island republic is in urgent need of manpower?"

Avicenna broke through Giovanni's pretentiousness with one word. Seeing that Giovanni's face was already red with anxiety, he laughed a few more times:

"If your island republic is really in trouble, you can simply take refuge in our Tianfang Empire. The King of Kings will soon help you clear out these insects in the Qiqiu Empire."

Avicenna has fully grasped the dilemma of the island republic. But after all, Giovanni is the messenger whom Patisipaccio regards as his right-hand man, and he will never give in in a diplomatic stance.

"Leave it to your Tianfang Empire? Since the death of the 'Son of God', your Tianfang Empire and Qiqiu Empire have been hostile for more than 800 years. Your Tianfang Empire seems to have about four elves every time, while the previous generation of Qiqiu Empire only had

There are neither Basileus nor Baselisa, but your Tianfang Empire has made any significant progress? Doesn’t this mean that your Tianfang Empire is useless in using troops? Well, you are arrested, and now your Tianfang Empire only has

There are three elves left! Are you still talking nonsense here?"

"Four elves?"

Avicenna repeated these words, sighed lightly, then closed his eyes and said nothing. Giovanni thought that Avicenna had been refuted by him, and said proudly:

"Avicenna, I'll give you a little more time to think about it. Don't delay, you will be pushed to the guillotine tomorrow."

With these words, Giovanni turned and left the dungeon.

"It turns out that the people from the Island Republic have left."

Avicenna laughed dryly behind Giovanni. Then, he read:

"I conclude that the 'King's Bathwater' exists here."

Under Avicenna's magic, the strong acid appeared out of thin air and surrounded the twenty chains of different materials that bound Avicenna.

Avicenna's whisper came from the dark dungeon:

"Why are there only four elves in the Tianfang Empire... Damn the Qiqiu Empire. But we have obtained the things. It has been more than 800 years since the death of the Son of God. It is time to break this curse."
