I have finished writing the novel, and what I want to talk about here are some of my thoughts.
"The Great Adventure" has been completed, with 3.2 million words.
This length far exceeded my original idea. I only drafted an outline of about 1.5 million words at the beginning, and I was not very confident and thought, "If the readers don't respond well, it's not a bad idea to end it with a million words."
The result was beyond my expectation. The results of "The Big Adventure" were very good, far exceeding my expectations. The story unfolded smoothly, so that it finally stretched to a huge length of more than three million words.
More than three million words, from the end of February 2011 to the end of January 2013, almost two years, during which countless efforts were expended...
However, "The Great Adventure" was written smoothly to the end, with a solid ending.
The ending of the story with Pengzi locking himself in the top spot in the world as the main line, and ending with ten years later, a hundred years later and a thousand years later is a concept that was drawn up a long time ago. Now that I write it down according to this idea, it feels relatively smooth.
Although many characters could not be explained one by one in the ending, and although many stories could not be completed one by one according to the original concept, in general, "Adventure" is a work that satisfies me.
There is no intrigue or intrigue. "The Great Adventure" is a very "clean" novel, with a refreshing atmosphere from beginning to end.
And this was the idea I had when I first conceived this book.
I remember that a long time ago, online game novels were about people playing games. It was very clear and clear that it was a group of people playing games. But I don’t know when online game novels started to become a gathering place for conspiracy stories.
, various conspiracies, various entanglements of interests, and even the international structure, world trends, the future of mankind, etc... can all be revealed through online games.
I just want to ask, are you tired?
Games are relaxing, enjoyable, and spiritually pleasurable. Playing a game can bring out so many monsters. Are you tired?
So I designed a completely unreasonable Datong world with a black technology background, kicked away all kinds of grudges and entanglements in reality, and focused on writing a story in which everyone played games happily.
Whether it is Cheng Peng, a typical positive example, or Zhou Ren, a typical negative example, they are playing the game according to their own ideas. They are not forced by any force, do not need to be afraid or give in, focus on what they like, and go all the way.
.
From the beginning of the story to the establishment of No. 1 in the world, Pengzi went through more than five years of adventures. When he won the title of No. 1 in the world, it was already May 20, six years in the game time.
I am one of the very few who has been writing game novels for such a long time, right? Haha!
The words "ten years, hundreds, and thousands of years" in the epilogue are the outlook for the future, and also complete the science fiction world created by "Adventure", allowing readers to see the future direction of this world.
To be honest, I am actually very proud of the world of Datong created in this book.
The future of a science fiction world, a world where productivity is extremely developed, I think it is like that.
In other words, this is my imagination of "**".
Once upon a time, even leaders no longer mentioned this slogan, but I feel that it will be realized sooner or later, although it will be in the distant future that I cannot see...
But that doesn’t stop me from imagining it! Imagining a world where both material and spiritual civilization are developed!
If poetry can express one's ambitions, so can novels. "The Great Adventure" is a novel that "expresses one's ambitions".
What I want to say, what I want to describe, what I want to imagine are all reflected in the novel.
I have no regrets about this book!
To all the readers who have accompanied it along the way, thank you for your long-term support of "Adventure"! Without your support, this novel would not have such a complete story and such a refreshing and neat ending!
