Chapter 16: Does He Really Love Her?

Long Qianqian nodded. "You didn't come back, I was worried. Yicheng, where have you been?"

She smelled the smell of alcohol coming from him. Did he go drink?

Gu Yicheng carried her back to the bedroom, his eyes full of exhaustion.

"I went to the company to explain my work and went out to socialize. I'm sorry for making you worry."

He didn't tell Long Qianqian about meeting Long Henyang today. He didn't want her to think wildly. Even he couldn't see through Long Henyang's thoughts. Qianqian was so innocent, and he was afraid that she would be hurt.

"Yi Cheng..."

Long Qianqian still wanted to say something, but Gu Yicheng signaled him to be silent. "Qianqian, we are not going to talk about anything today. You go to bed and I'll take a bath."

Long Qianqian looked at his back as he entered the bathroom, and something seemed to fall from his eyes.

She seemed to have never known him well. She only knew that his name was Gu Yicheng and that he had his own company in the United States. She didn't know what he did specifically.

She got out of bed, took out Gu Yicheng's cell phone from her clothes, and pressed the call record.

Except for an unknown number that was called this afternoon, the other one was from last night, and the caller ID was my father.

Could it be that why he is so decadent and exhausted today has something to do with the phone call last night?

His father, she had never met.

They had been together for a year, and she was waiting for him to confess, but he never told her.

Long Qianqian couldn't help but wonder, does he really love her?

Gu Yicheng dried his hair and sat on the edge of the bed. Qianqian fell asleep with her back to him. He lay down and held her in his arms.

"Qianqian, how about we go back to China and get married?"

Long Qianqian did not fall asleep and let him hold her. When she heard these words, her eyes that were originally closed opened.

She leaned on his arm and didn't answer.

This is the second time Long Qianqian comes to the hospital to see Long Yingtian.

Butler Long pushed Long Yingtian in a wheelchair to bask in the sun on the lawn of the hospital.

When he saw Long Qianqian, he seemed to feel much better.

"flourishing."

Long Qianqian walked over and called: "Master Long."

A trace of bitterness flashed across Long Yingtian's face, but it passed quickly. He was much better. It seemed that the right way was to go to the hospital when someone was sick.

"Qianqian, Ayang said that you will go back to China with him in some time, right?"

Long Qianqian's heart skipped a beat. When did she say she wanted to go back to China with Long Henyang?

"I have my own life, why should I go with him?"

Seeing Long Yingtian's injured expression, Long Qianqian couldn't bear it. She signaled to Butler Long to let her push the wheelchair.

"You are right. Even if I don't recognize you as my father, you will always be my father. We are connected by blood and cannot be denied. So I am here to tell you that I will graduate soon and then marry Gu Yicheng."

"Gu Yicheng?" Long Yingtian pondered.

"He came last time too, but you were in a coma."

Long Yingtian nodded. He couldn't say anything. He knew he was not qualified to say anything. "Okay, I must inform dad when the time comes. Dad will definitely go."

She didn't like the word dad very much, but she didn't object to Long Yingtian calling himself dad this time.

She pushed Long Yingtian forward slowly in silence, and the atmosphere suddenly became depressing until Butler Long's voice broke the silence.

"Master!"

Long Qianqian looked up and saw Long Henyang, expressionless, approaching step by step.

"Butler Long, you go with the old man for a walk. I have something to talk to the lady about."

Even the voice is emotionless.

Long Yingtian was very happy. The son and daughter did not get along as much as he had expected. They seemed to have a good relationship.

"Okay, Ayang, Qianqian is your sister, don't bully her."
