Chapter 12: The Bell

Arriving at the wing behind the temple, Gu Li opened her clothes and frowned.

There were red, yellow, purple, green and all kinds of colors, but every one of them looked gorgeous in her eyes.

"Miss, what's wrong?" Seeing Gu Li looking at the clothes in a daze, Yingxi asked doubtfully. These clothes are the miss's favorite!

"Yeah?" Without raising his head, he directly picked a dark red piece of clothing. After looking at it, except for the color, everything else was okay and it felt good.

Seeing that the door was closed, he no longer had any worries and pulled hard on his body. The clothes that were no longer complete suddenly broke into two halves.

Yingxi was about to exit the room, but she didn't expect Gu Li to act like this. She suddenly froze on the spot, at a loss, and a faint blush appeared on her face.

The clothes here look complicated, but they are very easy to put on.

In less than a minute, he put on his clothes and raised his head. Only then did Gu Li see Ying Xi, who was looking at her with wide eyes.

"You know how to comb your hair!" There was no emotion in his tone.

Ying Xi had just come to her senses, but when her eyes moved towards Gu Li, she was shocked again.

Her young lady really looks good in anything she wears!

"Miss, Yingxi will comb your favorite butterfly bun for you." The little girl stepped forward with excitement on her face and picked up the comb before she started, but was interrupted by Gu Li waving her hand.

"Just keep it simple" Butterfly, she doesn't like that thing "If you can get your hair up"

"No, no, no, her hair is tied up. That's a married woman. Miss, you haven't left the government yet," Yingxi said in a somewhat anxious tone.

"That's fine!"

After almost half an hour, Yingxi's busy hands stopped. Gu Li sighed that combing his hair was really troublesome.

Facing the flat and clear bronze mirror in front of her, Gu Li saw that the girl's hair was well combed. Although her hair was not pulled up like she said, at least it would not block her sight. As for how she did it, she did not take a closer look.

.

"Let's go!" She stood up and moved, but stopped in front of the torn clothes she had just torn. A light red came into her eyes.

She bent down to pick it up, and then realized that it was the handkerchief that the strange man tied when bandaging her wound. After thinking about it, she put it in her arms.

Seeing Yingxi collecting clothes, Gu Li opened the door and before leaving, he said lightly, "I don't want those anymore."

Yingxi stopped what she was doing. Thinking about it, the lady in the mansion also has a lot of clothes. At worst, she can make new ones, but I won't take away these.

There was only one way down the mountain, so there was no need for Yingxi to lead the way, so Gu Li went directly ahead.

The heavy breathing behind him made Gu Li pause. Seeing the green figure who stopped again, Emei frowned again. She had slowed down her pace as much as possible, but Yingxi, who was walking behind her, still walked a little.

Take a break.

Yes, she slowed down, but she seemed to have forgotten her changes.

At this time, her extremely slow speed seems to be one meter per step in the eyes of ordinary people.

"Miss, wait for me!" Covering her heart, Yingxi couldn't keep up and could only gasp for air.

Fortunately, she stood up again and came to Gu Li's side.

"Miss, are your legs longer than mine? I obviously saw you walking slowly, but I couldn't catch up with you!" Yingxi expressed her doubts.

Just as Gu Li was about to speak, he heard the sound of bells ringing in his ears, and he couldn't help but look towards the road leading to the mountain behind him.

Gu Li was confused when he unexpectedly saw Yingxi bowing to the mountain with both hands bowed.

"What are you doing?"

"This is the death knell! The lady must not have paid attention to this. The sound of this bell represents the death of a highly respected holy monk in the temple."

The bell rang a full thirteen times, and until the sound stopped, the echo still lingered in Gu Li's ears.

Thinking of the note given to her by the monk in the temple just now, she lowered her eyes with a hint of indifference on her face.

Maybe it's a coincidence!

"Miss, let's go!" Perhaps affected by the sound of the bell, Yingxi's tone was not as lively as it was at first.

"Yes." A glimmer of light flashed in Gu Li's eyes.

It seems like her maid is very kind-hearted!
