Liu Bowen looked at Li Yu and couldn't help but smile.
"The news has spread, and envoys from each of the five countries have come to inquire. I think you might as well go there yourself." Liu Bowen said to Li Yu.
Li Yu clicked his tongue and said, "I'm afraid someone will intercept and kill me on the way."
"Use troops and horses to escort us."
"No, it's better to fly directly." Li Yu said.
He did not refuse. It was necessary to visit the Six Dynasties to win over people's hearts to the greatest extent.
"I'll leave the Bianliang affairs to my husband. If you have anything to ask me, just ask Zhu Wu. He can take my place."
Liu Bowen stretched out his hand to stop him and asked, "Where are you going to go first?"
"Da Ming." Li Yu replied casually.
‘No, you are going to Chang’an.’ Liu Bowen said.
Li Yu was silent for a moment, and suddenly realized that he needed to make it clear to Buddhism first.
Chang'an now gathers the backbone of Buddhism in the Central Plains, and almost all the eminent monks are in Chang'an. It would be a pity not to go to Chang'an for the light of Buddhism on my end.
The Tang Dynasty was also the most powerful country in the Six Dynasties. From any aspect, there was no problem in going to the Tang Dynasty first.
There are more than a hundred Buddhas in the Western Pure Land, and there are countless Taoist saints in heaven and on earth.
However, there are only a handful of people who possess the dual sages of Buddhism and Taoism in one person. Only a few Taoist gods who hid in Buddhism after the war that year can be regarded as having only the name of Buddha.
Li Yu is different. He is a genuine Buddha, at least on the outside.
Maitreya is one of the three most important people in Buddhism and the future Buddha.
Recently, more and more people have come to visit Li Yuren. Most of them have heard about his enlightenment of Buddhism and came here to find out what happened.
In the Chang'an Grand Master Temple, Xuanzang frowned. He was different from other people. He had already vaguely guessed what was going on.
Shen Fang was behind him, shaking his head and saying: "I didn't expect that Li Yu, who we regarded as the enemy of Buddhism in the past, would actually achieve enlightenment. Sure enough, our knowledge and Buddha nature are still too short-sighted."
Jia Shang said: "In any case, Buddhism has another master. He should work with us to purify the Pure Land of the West."
Only Huineng was a little disapproving. He hesitated several times but finally endured it.
Jia Shang asked: "Huineng, do you have something to say?"
Jia Shang's seniority was higher than Huineng's, so he pointed it out directly.
Huineng took the opportunity and said, "Disciple, I thought there might be some fraud involved. Last time we went to Bianliang, we all saw the serious Taoist priest with our own eyes. We thought that the serious Taoist priest didn't have a trace of Buddha nature in his body, so how could he suddenly achieve cultivation?
The result is right."
Everyone looked at Xuanzang, waiting for his answer.
Xuanzang pronounced the Buddha's name.
"Amitabha Buddha, the World Honored Maitreya Buddha, has a lofty status in the Western Heaven and has profound Buddhist teachings. However, not even our Buddha Sakyamuni can escape this Buddhist catastrophe, and the World Honored Maitreya Buddha cannot escape 80% of the time. In this case, is there someone who takes advantage of this opportunity?
Stealing the Dharma of World Honored Buddha Maitreya?"
As soon as this statement came out, everyone was in an uproar.
Zen Master Xuanzang was a sworn brother of a serious Taoist priest. On the day the two of them became sworn brothers, the entire Buddhist community in the Six Dynasties rejoiced.
Because the Zhengjing sect was very popular and had just defeated the heavenly soldiers and generals, the Zhengjing Taoist priest even killed five gods by himself, making him famous all over the world.
Central Plains Buddhism was forced by the Heavenly Court and the Pure Land of the West in the Baoxiang Kingdom and gave up on the westward advance. Everyone was holding their breath and wanted to come back for revenge.
At this time, Zen Master Xuanzang, the recognized leader of Buddhism in the Central Plains, became a sworn sworn ally with the Taoist priests, thus becoming a timely help to the Taoist sect.
Just when everyone had a better impression of the serious Taoist priests, Master Xuanzang suddenly said this, and the serious Taoist priests changed from the saviors of Buddhism to thieves who stole the supernatural power and Dharma of the Buddha Maitreya.
"Zen Master, this matter is of great importance and cannot be speculated on," Shen Fang said.
As the former leader of Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty, Master Shenfang has always respected Xuanzang and obeyed what Xuanzang said. This was the first time he spoke to Xuanzang in this tone.
Because he didn't want Central Plains Buddhism to have another strong enemy.
Back then, when Li Yu was far from his current level of cultivation, he messed up Buddhism.
Now he has many men, and all the courts of the six countries support him, which is no longer what it used to be.
Xuanzang's expression darkened, he silently recited the Buddha's name, and then closed his eyes.
Buddhism is so difficult that sometimes we even need to deceive ourselves and others.
"Zen Master, why not send someone to Bianliang?" Huineng said.
At this time, a monk came in from outside, pronounced the Buddha's name and said: "Masters, the imperial court sent someone to tell you that Li Yu, the orthodox Taoist priest, is about to visit Chang'an and asked us if we want to send someone there."
"Okay, he came by himself!" Huineng stood up and said, "I just want to ask him."
Xuanzang stood up and walked out silently without saying a word.
The remaining monks all looked at his back. After returning from Baoxiang Kingdom, Zen Master Xuanzang's whole person changed.
He was no longer modest; he no longer had a faint smile, and he became taciturn.
The damage done to Xuanzang during the battle of Baoxiang Kingdom was by no means as simple as a physical injury.
Especially at the last moment, Heaven intervened, making their situation even more difficult.
Soon, several masters followed Xuanzang's footsteps and went with him——
Outside Chang'an City, Li Yu brought many people.
This time he was no longer alone, and was followed by many leaders from the Zheng Jing Sect.
It was the first time for these people to follow the leader to fly in the sky, and everyone was very nervous because they didn't know if they would be stopped by the gods.
A group of people nervously clenched their weapons until they saw the Chang'an City Wall clearly, and then relaxed a little.
After landing, Li Yu turned around and counted the number of people, and then led a large group of disciples towards Chang'an City.
Seeing his appearance, people along the way stopped and watched curiously, and some older people had already begun to worship him.
Li Yu walked in the front, and the Buddha's light all over his body was really eye-catching.
This holy golden light, with faint Sanskrit sounds coming from the brilliance, always attracts a large group of people to watch wherever it goes.
In Chang'an City, because of the existence of the Buddhist alliance of Bodhi World, a large number of monks gathered in Chang'an City.
They are the backbone of Buddhism in the Central Plains. Even so, they are no better than ordinary people. When many monks see Li Yu, their reaction is even greater than that of ordinary people.
They have a certain vision, and this will cost them their lives, because the Buddha's light in Li Yu's body is genuine.
Feeling the pious gazes around him, Li Yu faintly felt that there was a strange spiritual power approaching continuously.
This is the power of belief. When the people of Chang'an saw Li Yu accompanied by the Buddha's light, countless people began to worship him.
Li Yu's eyes were always looking at the end of the road, waiting for Xuanzang's arrival.
