Chapter 56: The game begins

(With less than 500 collections, all my readers can give me recommendation votes to this point! It’s really unreasonable not to break another chapter! Gentlemen! It’s the fifth update, why don’t we do the sixth update in a while? Recommendation votes

Can it be any more fierce? As long as the recommendation votes are strong enough, the addition of more will never stop!)

In fact, Ryan Gonzalez has been holding back his anger before the game. He loves basketball and has excellent grades, but Princeton University is not the place he most wants to go to. What he wants to go to most is actually Duke, a pan-Ivy League school.

University, the academic atmosphere there is comparable to that of Princeton University, and most importantly, the basketball level there is the pinnacle of the NCAA.

However, the results of the handsome Spanish boy met the admission requirements of Duke University, but the basketball team did not accept him. In other words, Mike Krzyzewski never met him once, and an assistant coach named Nate James came.

Keeping him at bay against the Blue Devils:

"Son, I don't see that you have enough ability. You must know that every position of the Duke University Blue Devils needs the best personnel. Obviously, you are not qualified now. I am very sorry. I wish you the best in Duke University."

I had a wonderful four years at KU.”

So, with his ravaged emotions and body, Ryan Gonzalez went to the more academically prestigious Princeton University. Who knew, the next year, he would be standing opposite the Duke University Blue Devils.

How could this possibly settle our Spanish boy? He wanted to let the guys in blue jerseys opposite him know right away that missing him would be their biggest regret.

So, almost as soon as Larry Freddy received the basketball he dialed, the blond boy was already rushing towards the frontcourt and yelling:

"Pass that ball to me! Larry!"

"Man! But you're not in position yet! I mean tactics..." Larry Freddy dribbled the ball toward the frontcourt and looked at Ryan Gonzalez and said.

"Wait until I teach these Duke bastards a lesson before you tell me the tactics! The only tactic in my mind right now is to get the ball and dunk one on their heads!" Rayne Gonzalez yelled.

So Larry Freddy reluctantly passed the basketball to Rayne Gonzalez. Although Rayne was not the captain, he was obviously one of the people on this team who could hold the ball.

With the ball in hand, Ryan Gonzalez changed his cool image from the previous game, and his face was twisted and ferocious! It was as if the Duke player on the opposite side was his blood feud!

Shaflik Randolph watched the opponent's power forward almost collide with him, and hurriedly adjusted his focus and assumed a defensive posture. Although the past two years of his Duke career made him a little unhappy, his statistics were not as ugly as in high school.

However, he wants to tell everyone that those who despise him will be slapped back!

But just when Shaflik Randolph felt that he could completely handle the opponent's collision, Ryan Gonzalez passed the basketball in his hand!

The basketball passed by him! It was passed directly to DJ Mbenga's hands!

At this time, Duke's center Sheldon Williams was stuck behind Mbenga! In front of the physical monster, even Sheldon Williams could not gain the upper hand in the strength competition!

"Shit!" Shafli Randolph quickly proved why Duke had to sit out a day at ABCD training camp to recruit him to Duke!

Shavlik Randolph completed the turn almost instantly! He went straight towards DJ Mbenga who had already taken the ball and was about to bend! Although it seemed a little slow because of the turn! But it was enough to put enough pressure on DJ Mbenga!

Seeing that DJ Mbenga did not speed up his shot just because he pounced on him! Shaflik Randolph breathed a sigh of relief! If he successfully defended this shot! Maybe he would gain some impression points in Coach K's mind! At least he would change himself.

The identity of a bitch!

But the next second! Shafli Randolph felt like he was singing in Kenny Rogers’ song “Die of a Heartbreak” because DJ Mbenga didn’t take off for a dunk!….

This guy chose to pass the ball!

And it was passed back to Rayne Gonzalez again!

No longer waiting for Shaflik Randolph to make other actions or reactions! Ryan Gonzalez has already jumped up high behind him! Like a tiger rushing towards its prey! The right hand holding the ball forms a semicircle in the air!

"Look clearly! Duke!"

Then there was a loud bang from the basketball stand!

Next shot! Rayne Gonzalez is hanging on the basket! His face is ferocious!

The fans in the audience were completely incited by Ren Gonzalez's first goal! They shouted loudly and cheered! It seemed that the entire St. Louis Indoor Stadium directly ignited the atmosphere to the climax with the first goal of the game!

However, no one at Duke seemed to have seen the humiliation just now. Even Shafli Randolph, who was on the background wall, just gasped and glared at Ryan Gonzalez, and then quickly moved towards the frontcourt.

Fall into position.

Chris Duhon slowly dribbled the ball across half court, and Larry Freddy rushed to defend.

Chris Duhon has an expressionless face. Although he has been regarded by countless American media as the only traditional point guard in the NCAA this year, it does not mean that he only knows how to dribble and pass the ball as a traditional point guard. Likewise, he is the same as those old-school point guards.

, also has a very sophisticated judgment on the defender's footsteps.

For example, right now, when he looks at Larry Freddie with a serious expression on his face and constantly fine-tuning his pace, he can be sure that he can definitely break through him, because this opponent's skills are not at the same level as his own.

So after Chris Duhon made a few fake moves, Larry Freddy lost his judgment and was pushed aside! Chris Duhon broke through with the ball!

But he ignored another point! That is, the members of the Princeton Tigers may not have superb skills, but they all have a sufficiently developed brain!

When Chris Duhon passed Larry Freddy! He had just taken the first step! The nearby Tony Young had already pounced on him! And Larry Freddy used the time Tony Young bought for him to immediately kill again from behind.

Come up! Two people are forcing themselves on Chris Duhon!

"Is this man-to-man? Oh my god! Even my blind uncle can see that loophole clearly!" Chris Collinson said beside Coach K, looking at the court.

He was right. Chris Duhon had no intention of breaking through and scoring by himself, nor did he expect that his one pass would attract the opponent's shooting guard to pounce on him. Therefore, he passed the ball to J.J. Redick without any hesitation.

!

If you let go of a guy who regards shooting as his life and give him a basketball, the result is already doomed!

Redick catches the ball and jumps on the spot!

The basketball flew toward the net in a graceful arc from his hands!

"Whoosh!" The sound of rinsing the net sounded! The basketball hit!

Tony Young was so stimulated by Redick's goal that he almost vomited blood! He originally thought that Chris Duhon, a small black man, would do it alone, so he rushed to help defend. Who knew that this guy didn't have the violent and brave temperament of other black men?

, actually passed the ball out.

Thinking of this, Tony Yang's ears felt a little itchy. He knew that some voices were coming. Sure enough, from the sidelines, Blake Dolan's angry curses sounded:

"Tony Young! Man-to-man tactics! Are you using your back eye to mark your opponent? You did a good job! He almost put the basketball into your asshole! Bastard!"
