2013 Cyprus Squadron Honors

Germany and France combined were not Nyasaland before they were split.

The two countries have similar climate conditions, similar traffic conditions, and the geographical environment is also magically similar. The tanks specially developed by Nyasaland Military Industry for France are more advanced than the tanks developed by the Germans themselves, and perfectly meet the requirements of the Germans.

The key is that while tanks in southern Africa are technologically advanced, they are also cheaper.

After all, the cost advantage is huge and all kinds of raw materials are ridiculously cheap. No matter how hard the Germans try, it is useless. The gap cannot be bridged at all.

What are the French most worried about?

Threat from Germany!

Then Southern Africa will strengthen military cooperation with Germany and amplify this threat as retaliation against France.

This can also explain why Mike Toland's attitude towards Darlan was so tough at the joint meeting before the start of the exercise.

"So, the French people's concerns are not groundless," James fanned the flames.

Britain is Europe's bastard.

France is the biggest cesspit in Europe.

Perfect match!

"If the French are in the mood to worry about this, it's better to worry about how to improve the Maginot Line." Captain Hank didn't care what the French thought.

The Southern African General Staff has made a response plan for the outbreak of world war and France's rapid surrender. It doesn't matter what the French think.

This is really not a daily breast-feeding method. The key point is that the things the French do are so exciting.

The French are still trying to contact the Rand Bank and the Bank of Rhodesia, hoping to obtain funds from southern Africa to build the Maginot Line.

This shows that France's internal decision-making is extremely chaotic and has no continuity. If the French government had not torn up its arms purchase orders with southern Africa before, then the French government would not be encountering such great difficulties now.

Captain Hank did not take James and Hamilton to the military port, but first came to the honor room of the Cyprus Squadron.

James and Hamilton were too confused.

The Cyprus Squadron was established after the end of the World War. Since its establishment, the Cyprus Squadron has not participated in a war. Where does it get the honor?

On this point, Captain Hank's understanding is completely different from that of James and Hamilton.

Not all military honors must be earned on the battlefield.

"The Cyprus Squadron was established in 1921. Although it was established only a short time ago, it has already established a fleet tradition with 'honor, sacrifice, bravery, and justice' as its core." Captain Hank looked proud.

The honor room is very large, and there is a long row of military flags displayed in the display cabinets on the wall. Most of them are military flags of the former Ottoman Empire troops, which should have been captured during the World War.

This surprised James and Hamilton.

Not surprised by the number of military flags.

But I was surprised by the shamelessness of the Cyprus Squadron.

When the Cyprus Squadron was established, the Ottoman Empire had already been destroyed.

Therefore, these military flags are mostly trophies of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force.

But it was used by the Cyprus Squadron to whitewash their face.

Sure enough, he is worthy of being the heir of the Royal Navy.

In addition to the military flag, there are also some other trophies, such as the command knife of a senior officer, royal supplies of the Ottoman Empire, and some personal items used by Rock, etc.

There is a fighter jet parked in the center of the Honor Room.

A real fighter.

The chicken was spray-painted with the Ottoman Empire's symbol, but the manufacturer was Nyasaland Airlines.

This is interesting.

Aircraft produced in southern Africa and sold to the Ottomans.

Then southern Africa was captured from the battlefield and placed in the room of honor for people to visit.

Just squeeze out the last bit of residual value.

"Since its establishment, the Cyprus Squadron has become an important force in maintaining peace and stability in the Mediterranean region. The Cyprus Squadron has also played an important role in many geological disasters. We always appear where it is most needed at the first time, in the Asia Minor Peninsula.

, we protect refugees holding Nansen passports heading to Europe. In North Africa, we provide all the help we can to North Africans who are living in difficulty. Last summer, when Greece was flooded, two of our sailors even gave their precious lives to rescue the victims."

James and Hamilton could feel Captain Hank's suppressed emotions beneath his calm expression.

After visiting the Honor Room, Captain Hank finally took James and Hamilton to his office.

"Your reports should focus on the honors obtained by the Cyprus Squadron, rather than the conflicts between the combined fleets. That will seriously affect the relationship between us and allow the enemy to take advantage of it." Captain Hank said directly,

Not only was he direct in his words, he was also generous in his actions.

Just after visiting the Honor Room, Captain Hank prepared a small gift for each of James and Hamilton.

On the way to the office, James, who was sitting in the back seat of the car, secretly opened the paper bag and looked at it.

The gift was of great value. Inside the paper bag was a gold pen produced by Eterno and a men's watch that James had wanted for a long time.

This makes people's hands short.

Even if Captain Hank didn't say it, James and Hamilton knew how to write a press release.

Back at the hotel, James and Hamilton did not forget to exchange experiences.

"I will focus on the warships of the Combined Fleet today. If I hadn't come, I would never have imagined that the Mediterranean Fleet would still have warships from thirty years ago in service." Hamilton had his own plan.

Indeed, it is, but it is an old transport ship and does not have much requirements for performance.

However, compared with the Cyprus Squadron, the Mediterranean Fleet is a bit shabby.

The warships currently in service in the Cyprus Squadron are all cutting-edge warships built within the past ten years.

Naval technology is developing at a rapid pace. The technology of ten years ago, let alone thirty years ago, is already lagging behind today. How much combat effectiveness can the Royal Navy maintain now compared to the last world war?

Very doubtful.

"If you write like this, it won't change the facts at all, but General Pound will probably be very happy." James did not yet understand the ultimate meaning of news.

"The entire Royal Navy will be very happy because they have the opportunity to win more military expenditures. Readers should also be very happy because they have another reason to scold Congress and the Royal Navy. The editor-in-chief will be even happier, because only breaking news can promote sales the most.

The one who is unhappy should be Congress, but who cares, my salary is not paid by Congress." Hamilton laughed, taking photos of the next generation of Cyprus barons, it is the bounden duty of journalists to criticize the current ills.

James was speechless, as a new door seemed to be slowly pushed open.

The next day, James started working again. Today's task was to conduct random interviews on the streets.

The interview started with the lobby manager of the Rhodesia Hotel.

"Why worry? The Cyprus Squadron will protect us!" The girl from Rhodesia has full confidence in the Cyprus Squadron.

"The Cyprus Squadron is practicing evacuation," James tried to guide.

"Even if the worst happens, the Cyprus Squadron will be the last to evacuate. We not only have confidence in the Cyprus Squadron, but also in the federal government of Southern Africa."

James could only lament that patriotic education in southern Africa has been done very well.

Every country has patriotic education.

The UK also has it, even the national anthem is "God Save the Queen".

It's a pity that the effect is not good.

The national anthem of southern Africa is "March of the Expeditionary Force".

Let’s not talk about the lyrics and music score.

Just look at the name.

The concepts and emotions expressed by the two songs are completely different.

"If, I mean if, if Cyprus faced an invasion, as an ordinary person, what would you do?" James did not deliberately lead this time.

"Do you think I am a vase who only says 'Welcome'? I am a member of the Southern African Rifle Association and a registered hunter of the Hunters Association. My shooting level reaches the level of an excellent shooter. If Cyprus faces an invasion, I will take

Pick up my gun and beat the shit out of the enemy!" The lobby manager was furious. Thinking about this kind of thing makes people very angry.

James was completely defeated.

James has never touched a gun since he graduated.

Even at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, James' shooting results did not reach an excellent level.

Even by British standards.

James' shooting scores were only passable.

And it’s barely qualified.

After leaving the hotel, a group of children in school uniforms lined up under the banner of the Boy Scouts.

Pedestrians on both sides of the street applauded, their eyes were full of love, their smiles were bright, and the streets were full of aunts laughing.

James walked a few steps quickly to catch up with the teacher next to the team.

"Ma'am, where are you going?"

"Go to the dock. We have received orders to cooperate with the Cyprus Squadron's exercises." The teacher said in a ponytail baseball cap, carrying an iron-gray military backpack, a short-sleeved shirt and overalls of the same color, and short military boots that covered his ankles.

Heroic and heroic.

"Wouldn't this affect children's learning?" James knew very well how much attention the federal governments at all levels in Southern Africa attach to education.

"What are you thinking? This is a rare opportunity to receive patriotic education, giving children the opportunity to know how their parents worked hard for their happy life. Isn't this more valuable than a Christmas turkey?

"?" The teacher's face was filled with frost.

James is really aggrieved. Americans only eat turkey on Christmas, while the British eat roast goose on Christmas.

James wanted to ask more questions, and a policeman on the side of the street waved to James.

James had to give up the interview.

"Morning Post, French?" The policeman didn't seem to read newspapers very often.

Not necessarily, the highest-selling newspaper in Cyprus is The Times.

"British" James was speechless, and the "Morning Post" was also very famous.

"Oh oh oh, you can interview, but you can't disturb the normal order. I will keep an eye on you." The policeman looked at James, which made James very uncomfortable.

It's the way you look at a criminal suspect.

Occupational diseases.
