117. Healing

After Suldak became the deputy squadron leader of the 6th Squadron, he became very busy every day.

Due to his physical condition, Old York no longer has the experience of managing the affairs of the Sixth Squadron, and all of this has to bear on Suldak.

Before leaving, Old York still had many things that needed to be handed over to Surdak. In addition, as a newly promoted squadron leader and an eighth-level soldier, Surdak had to spend a certain amount of time every day to improve himself.

Strength, as a squadron leader, the corresponding strength needs to be at least a first-level warrior, otherwise it will be difficult to convince the public in the army.

Fortunately, Surdak was very familiar with the squad leaders of the Sixth Squadron, so there were no obstacles in dealing with daily affairs.

Groups of cumulonimbus clouds piled up in the eastern part of the Gandaer Mountains, and it was raining lightly in the Moyun Ridge area.

Cavalry in heavy armor and catapults and other ordnance are not suitable for fighting in rainy weather, so the expeditionary force has been suspended for two consecutive days.

For the evil spirits on Moyun Ridge, this is a rare respite.

The battle groups at the expeditionary camp were resting and recuperating.

He Boqiang followed Suldak into a sheepskin tent. The tent was a little damp, and a brazier was lit in the middle. The layers of heat made the tent look like a steamer, and it felt a little suffocating when you got in.

Get angry.

Old York is a middle-aged knight in his forties. His more than twenty years of military career have left him with occupational diseases. The scars on his body will ache when it rains. He can only heal by lying in a tent and warming himself over a brazier.

To relieve some of the pain, he lay on a bear skin wearing a linen robe. The wrinkles and scars on his face were mixed together, making his face look a bit ferocious. The injuries all over his body made him tired to deal with it, and he became a middle-aged man.

The beard should turn gray.

Old York was lying on the bearskin bed and said to Suldak: "There is golden cider on the table. If you want to drink it, take a cup yourself."

Suldak was not polite. He poured a full glass for himself and He Boqiang each, then grabbed two pieces of ice from the ice bucket on the side and threw them into the glass. Then he held the wine glass and walked to Old York with a smile.

Sit down on the bench.

Seeing Suldak unceremoniously pour out the remaining half bottle of wine, Old York laughed and scolded: "You are here just to drink golden cider."

Suldak sat next to Old York, poked the charcoal brazier beside him, and said, "Of course it's not for drinking."

He Boqiang followed Suldak and sat on the bench. He looked at the somewhat airtight sheepskin tent. The squadron leader's salary in the army was obviously much higher than that of the squad leader, and he could even drink in the tent.

"I heard that Uncle York's old injury has recurred, so I came here to have a look!" Suldak said to Old York.

Old York used his arms to support his body, half sat up from the bed, and said to Suldak: "As I get older, those hidden wounds on the battlefield will always recur on rainy and cloudy days. You can feel better by having a pot of fire.

You young people may feel that this tent is a little stuffy, but there is nothing you can do about it, this kind of injury means that you cannot see the wind."

Suldak turned to look at He Boqiang and said to Old York: "This is little Dak, he is my best friend. He is good at treating some injuries. This is why I brought him here to see you. Maybe he can help

you."

"I know you, young man. You are the young man that Dak rescued from the battlefield. You have been fighting with the second team recently. You are very brave in the battle." Old York's sharp eyes fell on He Boqiang, oppressing him.

Full of feeling.

He Boqiang felt as if a violent earth bear was staring at him.

"Uncle York, don't think little Duck is rude, he just can't speak." Surdak said to Old York from the side.

Old York then retracted his gaze, reached out and pulled open the linen robe on his body, revealing a strong arm with muscles. There was a flesh-red scar on this arm, extending from the elbow to the back. It looked like

It's like a claw mark.

He Boqiang can almost imagine the tragic scene when Old York was injured. That arm must have been scratched with a wound that was as deep as the bone. Although this wound has been completely healed now, the meridians on Old York's arm are considered

Being completely cut off, the hidden injuries left behind cannot be easily recovered.

"When I was fighting a ghost in the misty swamp, I was cut open by the bone sickle in its hand. It almost disabled my arm, and I extinguished the fire of his soul. I will

Its skull was made into a wine glass, this is it..."

As he spoke, Old York pointed to a bone wine glass next to the bed.

He Boqiang did not expect that someone would actually use skulls to make wine glasses to serve wine. He only felt that the glass of golden apple cider in his hand also had a musty smell of rotten bones.

He casually put the wine glass on the table aside, then held up Old York's arm with one hand, squinted his eyes slightly, and concentrated on igniting the seventeen nodes in his body, allowing these nodes to release a pale golden sacred aura. Now He Boqiang

Now able to control this magical aura at will, he guided the sacred power into the palm of his hand. A faint golden light spread from the palm of his hand and penetrated into Old York's arm bit by bit.

At this time, Old York looked at He Boqiang with wide eyes and said in a voice: "Magician?"

"Uncle York, he is not a magician. He awakened his magic talent while fighting the indigenous people a few days ago. Swordsman Baikal said that Little Duck can sense the sacred magic element. At that time, he wanted to kill Little Duck

Take it to Bena to form a swordsman regiment." Suldak felt quite proud every time he mentioned this.

York stared at He Boqiang as if he were looking at some kind of rare treasure.

He suddenly said at this time: "War warriors who have awakened their magic perception, no wonder Surdak can lead the second team to hunt evil spirits in the mountains and forests. We squadron leaders have never understood it before. You guys

Where did you get the confidence to make such a desperate move and spend all your savings to buy magic scrolls to kill evil spirits? It turns out that this young warrior in your team is a magician and a martial artist... Huh!"

The golden light on He Boqiang's hand touched Old York's injured arm. Old York immediately stopped talking and a trace of pain appeared on his face. It's just that for a veteran like him, his tolerance for pain has already exceeded the limit of human beings. This kind of

Sometimes, just because the old injury recurred in the rainy weather, the slight increase in pain made him unbearable.

Surdak asked quickly from the side: "Uncle York, how are you doing?"

Although He Boqiang discovered that his divine power has a certain ability to heal itself, it is still unknown whether it has any effect on such old injuries.

Suldak heard that Old York's old injury had relapsed and he could hardly move while lying in the tent, so he decided to ask He Boqiang to come over and give it a try.

He Boqiang thought that it would be better to use the 'Divine Blessing Body' on Old York to alleviate his pain. When the effect of the 'Divine Blessing Body' wears off, the rainy days in Gandaer Mountain should almost turn sunny.

Suldak still hoped that He Boqiang would try using divine power. Although he didn't know how effective it would be, at least there was some reaction when the divine breath was injected into Old York's body.

He Boqiang only felt that the sacred aura was melting away some of the hard knots on Old York's body. The shape of these hard knots happened to be exactly the same as the scars on his arms. As the hard knots on Old York's arms gradually melted away, Old York's expression gradually softened.

After coming down, old York fell into a deep sleep without realizing it and entered dreamland...
