237. In the city

Halanza City is built on the mountain. The Junior Magic Academy in the city is located at the highest point of the city. The main teaching building of the Magic Academy can be said to be one of the tallest buildings in Halanza City.

The Junior Magic Academy is a completely Gothic-style building complex. When Suldak passed the academy square, he realized that the huge magic academy seemed deserted. The melodious bells rang, and the magicians walked out of the main teaching building.

There are only a few apprentices, solemn and deserted. This is Surdak's most intuitive feeling about this junior magic academy.

Helensa's Warcraft Materials Store is located among several magic item shops. There are several gold letters abbreviating Warcraft Materials Store on the silver plaque on the roof.

Surdak tied the horse's reins to the hitching post at the door and walked into the store. Inside the store, a young man wearing a magic apprentice's robe came over, looking like he couldn't wake up, turning over his head.

Fish Eyes asked with a calm expression: "What do you need?"

There were almost no customers in the shop. Surdak looked around curiously and then said to the young man: "Where are you shopkeepers here? I'm here to sell some Warcraft materials. I wonder if you are interested in purchasing them."

?”

After listening to Suldak saying that he didn't want to buy anything, the young man wearing a magic apprentice's robe shouted: Boss, someone is looking for him.

After saying that, he actually left without looking back.

Surdak waited in the shop for a while, and then he saw the shopkeeper walking out of it, staring at Suldak with a scrutinizing look on his face: "Knight, what do you want to sell when you come to my place?"

Surdak didn't waste any time. He took out a piece of salamander meat wrapped in oil paper from his magic pocket, placed it on the indigo wood counter, and said to the shopkeeper: "I'm here to sell some salamander meat.

"

The shopkeeper came over, put the salamander meat under his nose and smelled it. He probably thought that the salamander meat was still fresh. He nodded slightly and asked Surdak: "Where is the salamander skin?"

Surdak told the shopkeeper: "I'm keeping that piece of salamander leather for now, and I'm not planning to sell it at the moment!"

"Have the tongues and teeth of the salamanders been sold?" the shopkeeper asked again, with some dissatisfaction: "Is this all the salamander meat?"

Suldak nodded.

The shelves in this Warcraft material store are filled with all kinds of Warcraft materials, and they are also written in great detail. Generally, the materials for low-level Warcraft can be purchased in this store. Among these Warcraft materials, Surda

I only have a rough understanding of a few.

He saw a round eyeball in a glass jar that was still blinking when soaked in liquid. The eye stared at him in the glass jar, giving people a creepy feeling.

The shopkeeper used a silver knife to cut open the fresh salamander meat in front of him, revealing the dense white bones inside. The shopkeeper looked up at Suldak, gave him an intriguing smile, and said, "These lizard bones are not very valuable.

For lizard meat, how about 2 silver coins per pound for other parts and 3 silver coins for the lizard tail?”

Surdak didn't expect that the owner of the Warcraft materials store was so shady. The purchase price was cut in half from the retail price, and even a fraction was wiped off.

Seeing that Surdak didn't agree immediately, the shopkeeper rolled his eyelids and asked Surdak: "What? Do you think the price is a bit low? Knight."

Surdak placed all the salamander meat in his magic pocket on the counter. Just as he was about to speak, the shopkeeper spoke first:

"This is not a small amount. The meat is almost a hundred pounds. Even if it is a little less, I will give you a hundred pounds. Look, it is already very good to be able to sell it for two gold coins. Helensa City, except

Probably no one here is willing to buy so much salamander meat at once."

Surdak didn't expect that the owner of the Warcraft Materials Store would be so aggressive in bargaining, and he looked like he could just leave if he didn't want to sell.

Without hesitation, Surdak put the salamander meat on the counter back into his magic pocket, turned around and walked out. Bargaining with such a shopkeeper was a waste of time.

The shop owner acted like he was sure of you, but he didn't expect that Surdak didn't even say hello, put away the salamander meat and turned around to leave. He quickly chased him out of the counter and followed Surdak.

He asked loudly: "Hey, hey, don't you want to sell it? Where do you want to take it?"

Seeing Surdak stepping out of the Warcraft Materials Store without looking back, the shop owner became really anxious. He reached out and grabbed Surdak's arm and said to him:

"Hey, don't leave. We can discuss it again, or I'll give you ten more silver coins privately."

Surdak didn't even bother to look at the owner of the Warcraft Materials Store, shook off his grasping hand, and jumped onto his horse with a slight jump.

Looking at Surdak's back on horseback, the shop owner looked annoyed and shouted at Surdak's back:

"Look, no matter where you go, the price I give you will not be as high as mine! You will come back, and I won't be so easy to talk to by then."

In the deserted street, only this voice echoed repeatedly.

The sale of salamander meat did not go as smoothly as expected. Suldak felt that he might have listened to the old village chief's reminder from the beginning and went directly to the high-end restaurants in the city. Perhaps those restaurants wanted to buy such high-end ingredients.

Walking out of the Magic Academy Street, there were more pedestrians again. Suldak could only lead the horse and walk, looking for high-end restaurants that looked more luxuriously decorated along the way. However, the small mountain town of Helensa gave people the feeling

There are rock buildings full of age everywhere, and the quaint and old atmosphere permeates the entire city.

Along the way, Suldak didn't find any high-end restaurants, so he could only continue to squeeze towards the busiest main street.

"Suldak, it's really you. Didn't you go back to Wall Village? How come you have time to come to Helensa City?"

At this time, Suldak heard a familiar voice above his head shouting excitedly.

Suldak couldn't help but raise his head and glanced overhead. Directly in the dazzling sunlight, a familiar face poked out of the street-facing window on the second floor and looked at him with a smile.

"Karl, it's you!"

Surdak never expected that by such a coincidence, in this mountain town with a population of hundreds of thousands, he would meet Karl by chance on the street.

The last time he first came to the city of Helensa, Karl enthusiastically led him to find the Knights of Helensa.

When he came to the city of Helensa this time, Surdak was supposed to bring some local products or something and visit Karl to express his gratitude, but he came to sell meat, and he came in a hurry and was completely unprepared.

Duck felt very embarrassed.

Karl walked down the stairs quickly and looked at Suldak curiously.

Only then did Suldak explain his purpose to Karl.

Karl said to Surdak in astonishment: "You are really lucky. If you just walk around the Paglos Mountains, you can encounter salamanders. So have you sold your salamander meat?"

?”

Surdak looked embarrassed: ""
