361. Ball at Christie Manor

Hilanza Knight Academy will have three opportunities to evaluate the warrior level every semester, at the beginning, mid-term and end of the term.

Since warriors are not like magicians, every time they are promoted, the magic pool in their body changes significantly. Warriors do not have a clear understanding of their own strength. They must exercise unremittingly every day to improve their strength, speed and physique.

They are all being enhanced in a subtle way, and the definition line is relatively blurred. The level evaluation has become the standard for evaluating the strength of the Green Empire's warriors.

Many warriors will encounter bottlenecks during exercise, and they will find breakthroughs in different ways. Therefore, they need to have a clear understanding of their own strength.

The Knight Academy level testing area is located in the academy auditorium. The auditorium is usually vacant. It can only be used during the opening of school, graduation ceremonies and war mobilization rallies. Occasionally, some academic performance groups will borrow it.

Performances are held in the auditorium, so the three grade assessments each semester are also located here.

There were many trainee knights waiting at the door of the auditorium. Boys and girls wearing thick winter clothes lined up at the door.

Surdak was accompanied by Assistant Pablo to the entrance of the auditorium. A group of trainee knights followed Surdak, which seemed to be very powerful and attracted the attention of many people. They saw Surdak appearing in front of the auditorium.

, everyone whispered to each other: Why did the academy's 'clerk knight' appear here?

There are two entrances to the auditorium. The left entrance is lined with trainee knights from the academy, but the right entrance is deserted and deserted.

Assistant Professor Pablo saw Suldak stop in confusion and explained to him: "There are two level test magic crystals. One is used to evaluate the level of warriors below level nine, and the other is used to evaluate the level of warriors below level nine.

If it were not for the occasional instructors from the Knight Academy to test your level as a warrior or above, the magic crystal that tests your level as a warrior or above would almost be cancelled... Hey! Knight Surdak."

Suldak walked towards the entrance of the test area. Assistant coach Pablo caught up from behind and grabbed Suldak's arm. He was worried that he would go to the wrong entrance and be blasted out later.

Awkward.

Seeing Assistant Coach Paplo winking at him, Suldak asked Assistant Coach Paplo in confusion: "What's the matter, Assistant Coach Paplo, do you need to start the warrior level evaluation from below level nine first?"

“Of course not, but that side is specially prepared for warriors of level one or above. Have you already understood the ‘potential’?”

Suldak glanced at Assistant Pablo indifferently, his eyes filled with "You just know now?", and then walked into the first-turn warrior evaluation area under the stunned eyes of Assistant Pablo.

Assistant Professor Pablo thought that Suldak had been named and cared for by the dean before, and his departure was related to the guard camp. Thinking about it again, he felt that he was probably already a member of the guard camp. In that case, his strength had reached Level 1

There is nothing surprising about the level of warriors.

It was only his silence in the face of various doubts in the academy that made everyone mistakenly think that Suldak was a "Clerical Knight".

The two evaluation areas were completely separated. The auditorium seemed a little empty? Even a little cold? There was a heating stove in front of the square table, and the charcoal fire inside was burning red. Two ladies wearing thick leather jackets sat in front of the square table.

Seeing Surdak walking in? He asked:

"Name?"

 “Suldak.”

“Are you a training knight or an academy instructor?”

 “Knight of further training.”

One of the ladies took a look at Suldak and looked at the badge of the Knight Academy on his chest. She walked to a wooden platform covered with a black curtain and opened the curtain. There was a square table on the inside.

The lady with a magic crystal that is more than a foot long sat slowly in front of the square table. She pointed to the wooden platform aside and said: "Stand on it and don't move. Prepare for the magic crystal test and keep your body as relaxed as possible."

Only then did Surdak discover that under the magic crystal was a two-foot-square copper plate base. This copper plate was engraved with complex magic runes. In addition, there was a red plate with various scales attached to the back of the magic crystal.

The copper square pillar almost half-wrapped the transparent magic crystal inside? Through the magic crystal, you can vaguely see the scale inside.

As soon as Surdak stood on the square platform, the lady said a short spell. In the blink of an eye, a beam of light fell from above his head. Surdak was shocked. Unexpectedly, he turned out to be a magician. He was not wearing any clothes.

The usual magic robe? It’s really hard to tell.

Surdak restrained himself from moving. The light beam illuminated his body red. The transparent magic crystal on the square table began to change color. It was as if water was poured into the crystal. The water level in the crystal continued to rise until the water level was above the magic crystal.

Stop in the middle.

The lady then came over and took a serious look, and said to Suldak: "When you turn to level 14, you'll be leaning toward strength. The suitable professions are shield warriors and heavy knights."

After speaking, he walked up to him and stamped a faint red seal on his knight's badge. The words "One turn and fourteen" were clearly printed on it, and then put the knight's badge on again.

Erdak's chest.

Seeing Suldak standing there, the lady waved to Suldak very casually and said, "Okay! If you have nothing to do, you can go out."

   …”

Suldak originally wanted to ask questions about his ability to perceive sacred elements, but when he saw the lady walking directly back to the stove and chatting with another companion, he had no choice but to give up and silently exit the auditorium.

Seeing Suldak walk out of the auditorium, among the trainee knights who were queuing up in a long queue to get their grades evaluated, some with good eyesight had already seen the grade evaluation "One Turn Fourteen" printed on his knight badge.

  嚯……

The entire entrance to the auditorium seemed to be about to explode, and everyone cast extremely surprised glances at Suldak.

 Some people are talking privately:

“The clerk knight is actually a mid-turn shield warrior...”

“Have you heard? The Clerk Knight is actually a Level 1 warrior.”

“No wonder he was awarded the title of ‘Knight’. With such strength, if he has made some achievements on the battlefield, it is not difficult to obtain the honor of ‘Knight’. After all, strength speaks for itself.”

“Tam, stop looking, you can’t do it!”

“Wait a minute, I definitely can’t do it now, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be able to do it in the future. As long as I can understand the ‘potential’, I will become a one-turn knight.”

“Wake up, you are still a ninth-level trainee warrior now, and you can’t say these things until you become a ninth-level warrior.”

Assistant Coach Pablo didn't know why he didn't leave before. He was waiting here, probably to confirm whether Suldak was a first-turn warrior. Now he finally got the answer. It turns out that there really is such a thing, no matter what the rumors outside say.

A person who doesn't make any excuses for himself, he doesn't seem to care what others say. Watching Suldak slowly walking down the steps, Assistant Coach Pablo suddenly felt that the figure of the knight in front of him had become unusually tall.

The instructors in the Knight Academy can probably be counted on one hand with the strength of Surdak.

At least Pablo is currently in a bottleneck stage. Before he realizes his own "potential", his strength will probably not improve in any way.

Assistant Professor Pablo followed Surdak up and said to him: "Knight Surdak, you are actually a mid-turn one knight, and you have never mentioned it to the academy..."

Surdak didn't expect that he was already a level 14 warrior. Even though he had experienced a lot in the past few months and his strength had increased, in the archives of the 57th Heavy Armored Infantry Regiment,

Unsurprisingly, it should be written as a seventh-level warrior. However, in just a few months, it has reached the mid-level strength of the first rank. After careful consideration, it still doesn't make sense.

Maybe we can talk about "awakening the divine attribute magic perception in the middle".

Suldak smiled at Assistant Coach Pablo and said:

“Actually, I don’t know what I am. I only know that I realized the ‘power’ on the battlefield. Later, due to various reasons, I was never able to evaluate my strength. I’m a little unsure.”

Assistant Professor Pablo shrugged his shoulders, spread his hands and said, "Well, with your current strength, as long as you can successfully pass the cultural test in front of you, you can successfully receive the graduation certificate issued by the Knight Academy."

“Hearing you say that, I feel much more relaxed.”

The two left the college auditorium while chatting.

 …

The city of Hilanza is built on the mountain, located in the Tarapagan area west of the Bena province. It is connected to the Paglos Mountains and is an edge branch of the Paglos Mountains. The residents of the city of Hilanza will be walking on this mountain.

The mountain is called Camel Mountain mainly because the mountain looks like the back of a dromedary when viewed from a distance.

No. 1 Central Street is located at the highest point of Helensa City. A gray rock castle rises from the ground, almost blending into the entire mountain city.

There is only a Helensa Victory Memorial Square between the castle and the city hall. Suldak stepped down from the magic caravan and found many gorgeous carriages parked in the square, and there were more in front of the castle gate not far away.

It was crowded with nobles wearing all kinds of gorgeous dresses, and young people liked to wear exquisite light leather armor. They didn't care how cold the weather was.

Suldak did not expect that the ball that Darcy casually invited him to attend would actually gather almost the entire aristocratic circle of Helensa City.

He looked down at the salamander leather armor he was wearing. Fortunately, the leather-making master Abe didn't delay too long and sewed his own leather armor before the dance. It was indeed a salamander leather armor and he could wear it on his body.

You can actually feel a warmth flowing through the entire leather armor. There are too many guests at the entrance of the castle, and Surdak is waiting behind.

Looking at the nobles lining up to enter the venue, all holding invitations in their hands, Suldak subconsciously touched his magic belt. Darcy Christie did not give him this thing.

Standing on the outside, he couldn't help but look around and found that except for this entrance, other places were heavily guarded and there was no other opportunity to sneak in.

While thinking about how to enter the ball, he suddenly heard someone calling his name from behind. When he turned around, Surdak saw that it was Karl and a group of friends from the aristocratic circle walking over from the square. Among these aristocrats,

Suldak only knew Baron Llewellyn.

Karl asked Suldak with a surprised look on his face: "Why are you here? Marquis Christie is holding a ball tonight. Did you also receive an invitation?"

Suddenly, a familiar figure walked out of the castle door. The maid behind her held up the hem of her skirt. She walked through the crowd. The nobles nodded in greeting and moved out of the way. Surdak looked carefully and found that it was actually

Mrs. Christie, dressed in costume, said to Karl with a smile: "Karl, bring your friends in quickly!"

A nobleman next to Karl looked at Suldak and asked Karl: "Who is this...?"

Baron Llewellyn, who was standing aside, quickly introduced everyone: "This is Knight Suldak, a close friend of Karl."

Mrs. Christie nodded politely to Suldak, then took Carl's arm and walked at the front of the group. Without greeting anyone else, she walked directly through the castle gate into the luxurious courtyard. Mrs. Christie came out to greet her in person.

Naturally, the group of people was not asked about the invitation letter by the guard at the door. These nobles were all familiar with each other in private, and they greeted familiar people while walking.

Apart from Karl, Suldak only knew Baron Llewellyn, but the two of them had nothing in common when they stood together. After all, Suldak was once Baron Llewellyn's imaginary love rival, so the two of them could stand together without being too embarrassed.

Together, it's pretty good.

The other nobles did not know Surdak, which made Surdak seem like an island among the group.

There is a knight among many nobles, which itself seems very strange. The other nobles only regard Surdak as a young man who wants to get into the dance. Not only do they look at him with a little contempt, but no one wants to be with him.

He made friends, even if Baron Llewellyn introduced him that Suldak was Karl's best friend, it would have no effect.

Surdak curiously looked at the garden design of the castle. Ever since he walked into the castle's vestibule, Surdak felt that it was much warmer than outside. Although the vestibule was an open design, he could tell just by looking at the lush lawns in the garden.

This courtyard has some kind of wonderful design, and no one cares about it.

"Suldak, why are you here? I've been looking for you everywhere." A figure walked briskly through the crowd and ran to Suldak, panting.

Suldak has never seen Darcy Christie wearing a long skirt, but in such a cold weather, her smooth arms can still be exposed. I can only praise her: she has a really good physique.

Mrs. Christie saw Miss Darcy running past her and actually stopped in front of Suldak to greet her affectionately. Then she suddenly understood and said: "Darcy, it turns out you invited Knight Suldak?"

Darcy Christie said casually: "What else do you think? Aunt..."

She was very satisfied with Surdak's salamander leather armor. Although this style of leather armor was not uncommon, it proved that Surdak was also prepared for this dance. Thinking of this, Darcy Christie also

Imitating the action of my aunt holding Karl's arm, I reached out and took Suldak's arm...
