312.Sacrifice of sample

There is no need for Jon to worry about safety issues in the Triwizard Tournament so early now.

The start of the competition is the beginning of school in September, and it is only May now. There are still four months to prepare. The rules and referees will also be determined during these four months.

Slytherin's portrait was re-framed and left among the portraits of the previous principals.

Regarding the Triwizard Tournament, Jon had another question that he asked out of curiosity.

"Professor, there was something I didn't feel comfortable asking about in Durmstrang. That Principal Bagshot... shouldn't that be his real surname?"

Dumbledore did not hide this from Jon. Originally, Grindelwald concealed his identity just to hide it from those who wanted to be concealed. There are many people in the wizarding world who know his true identity.

"Gettler Grindelwald, this is his real name. He made some mistakes when he was young, so he was imprisoned for more than fifty years. He was only released from prison a few years ago."

Although he said it succinctly, Jon certainly knew exactly what Grindelwald's situation was.

He blinked and asked tentatively.

"I have seen the deeds of Mr. Grindelwald in the history of magic. I know that no one was his opponent except you. So since he is an ally with us now, why doesn't he come to France with you to deal with the dark side?"

Where is the devil?"

Dumbledore shook his head.

"The purpose of his coming out was not to help me, Jon. Originally, he should have stayed in prison for the rest of his life and was not qualified to pick up the wand and end his life peacefully. However, the events in Britain have caused many changes.

One of them is that he walked out of prison again."

"But even so, the fact that he has not held a wand and used magic for fifty years has had a great impact on him. Not to mention that his strength has not been completely restored yet. Even if he returns to his best condition, there is no way to reconcile with him.

He used to compete."

When he said this, Dumbledore's eyes became profound.

"Besides, he has his own ideas, which are completely different from what he used to think."

...

"What I think doesn't matter."

At the very edge of the Arctic ice sheet, in the tall ice and snow fortress, Grindelwald looked at Eric with a dull expression.

"What matters is the result you get now. No matter what thoughts I have, it cannot affect the final facts."

Eric seemed to have respect for this old man, but not as awe as other saints. He rubbed his forehead and said.

"The results are there, but a lot of experimental samples were consumed to rescue the boy you mentioned, and I don't know if those people found the problem. What if they took away a few bear carcasses and found something wrong?

"

Grindelwald sat on the chair and looked up at the creatures sealed in the huge ice.

"So what if something is wrong? Do you think those people can think of the direction we are exploring? Or who else in the magical world can think of this except us?"

His words were obviously somewhat absolute, but Eric did not deny it. The tone of his answer was not flattery, but an affirmation after careful consideration.

"That's true. If there were any wizards who knew what we were doing, they would probably just call us crazy."

An unnoticed smile suddenly appeared on the corner of Grindelwald's mouth.

"Besides, these samples were sacrificed well. Did you read yesterday's newspaper?"

Eric scratched his messy hair and complained.

"How can I read the newspaper in such a timely manner in a place like this, sir? Usually the daily newspapers sent to me by Hans are delayed by more than three days."

"Greene killed two of Voldemort's most powerful men who ruled Britain." Grindelwald narrowed his eyes, "In front of him, he just used a basilisk fang."

Eric's eyes widened.

"Hey! I thought he escaped with my help! He is only fifteen years old!"

"One year and fourteen."

"When I was this old, Hans punished me in solitary confinement at Durmstrang for poking a slug with his wand!"

Grindelwald gently shook the wand in his hand, crossed his legs, and said softly.

"So I say, the sacrifice of these samples is not a loss at all..."

...

Jon certainly doesn't know what Grindelwald is paying attention to.

After communicating everything with Dumbledore in the office, he found Hermione and the others.

The students of Hogwarts were brought to Witch Level to restart their regular school life. In Lyon, Professor McGonagall specially found a place as a temporary address for the school to teach the students.

After it was determined that the Triwizard Tournament would determine the final ownership of France, the professors' work became easier and they could devote more time to teaching.

In other words, after half a year of wandering and two or three months of living in Durmstrang, Hermione and the others finally returned to normal at the end of this semester.

After arriving here, Jon finally had time after class to start studying the notebook-like book he found through the map Adrian left in the maze.

After checking several dictionaries, he determined that the language in which this note was written was German.

He compared the German book and completely translated the contents of the first few pages of the notes bit by bit, and after seeing the translation results, Jon suddenly became energetic!

In addition to the gem, the notebook was an extra thing that Adrian specially kept. When he was in the maze, Jon felt that its value would definitely not be lower than the gem itself, and that was indeed the case.

This is a detailed analysis of the high-end human transformation technique - Animagus.

Of course it is not the normal kind that any talented wizard can learn, but an Animagus that is modified based on gems and can completely change the nature of the wizard's own magic power!

Jon unconsciously thought of Slughorn's first lesson about rings when he was in the first grade in Carriage.

Historically, the most advanced research done by wizards on how to change their own magic power is the high-end transformation technique Animagus. However, this transformation technique seems to be able to completely transform a person into an animal, which is considered a success.

But the wizard's own magic power has not changed at all, because Animagus cannot transform into magical animals.

To truly achieve the final transformation, there must be some change in magic power, which means that the wizard's transformation technique can be transformed into the form possessed by magical animals.

And this note left by Adrian is a hypothesis and conjecture about using the ring to complete this transformation!
