542. Showdown!

Jon actually didn't know if he was ready.

Maybe he can perfect the magic a little more, maybe he can go deeper into the layout of the Ministry of Magic, or maybe he can think of other ways to come up with it.

But Jon also knew that Voldemort would not leave him so much time.

Just like Grindelwald said, not everyone in this world can leave things until they are fully prepared.

And Jon knew clearly that now was the time for him to face this problem.

"I thought you would continue to hide and let that failed old guy come out and challenge you."

Voldemort's voice was calm, and his tone did not conceal his surprise after seeing Jon.

Jon took a deep breath. He still held the Elder Wand in his hand, but now this wand was not limited to being a spell-casting tool.

"There's nothing I can't stand up to. Haven't you always wanted to see this situation today? I'll stand in front of you."

Voldemort laughed, that smile was casual, but could make people feel the coldness in it!

"So what have you been doing these days? Where's the stuff you stole from me?"

Jon did not answer his question. There were some words he did not want to say more because he knew very well that Voldemort himself was not sure what Jon had done with the time turner.

The more he talks now, the more mistakes he may make.

Rather than wasting any more words, why not just get started!

Jon waved his wand without chanting a spell, and a golden-red flame rose in the sky, illuminating the sky that had been shrouded in the black mist behind Voldemort!

The moment Jon appeared to confront Voldemort, Lupine and the others had already suspended the evacuation of personnel.

Although they knew that in such a battle, they could not help at all, they were unwilling to leave Jon alone here and let him face Voldemort and those Death Eaters.

In the sky, Jon had already launched an attack. On the ground, the Death Eaters and the Witches were also at war with each other.

They are all still paying attention to the situation in the sky. Everyone knows that the final result of this war that has been started since the 1970s will be decided today!

Those golden-red Nirvana flames unique to the Phoenix have a lethality that directly affects the soul that is not inferior to that of Li Fire, and are easier to control in Jon's hands.

But Voldemort didn't seem to care about this as a small trick in his eyes. He just shook the black robe on his body slightly, and the black mist enveloped the entire sky again, suppressing the fire along with it.

Go down!

It was these flames that originally dealt with Voldemort's soul who wanted to invade Jon's body in Hogwarts Castle, but now it seems that it has no effect on him and is left to his own devices.

"The same trick won't work the second time."

Voldemort opened his arms, and the hem of his black robe was whistling in the wind under him!

The rich black color sets off him, like the master of this world!

"Jon Green, don't think I can't guess! The only people who can oppose me are people like me! There is no difference between us! Your soul is not a native of this world at all! I'm right.

wrong?"

Jon didn't show much shock at how he guessed his origin without any scruples.

Just like Voldemort said, Jon was investigating his origins, and if Voldemort hadn't guessed some of Jon's secrets by now, he wouldn't be as successful as he is today.

"Don't compare me to you."

Jon just said in a cold voice, his body was surrounded by countless invisible sharp blades.

"Although I have never felt that I am that good, if you put me together, it would be too insulting."

"Buzz!"

The moment Jon finished speaking, countless sharp blades cut through the air!

The entire sky shrouded in darkness seemed to be emitting a miserable scream!

Then a huge slash mark was cut into the black mist. Almost as soon as the slash mark appeared, Voldemort stretched out his left hand that was not holding the wand.

He didn't make many unnecessary moves, he just flicked his fingers, and the black mist that had been chopped away gathered again, and at the same time, a sound like a metal collision sounded.

"Severus' little tricks, even if you have improved them a bit, are still just little tricks after all."

From the beginning to the end, he acted in an understatement, as if he didn't care about all of Jon's methods.

But he really didn't need to take it to heart. After completing the complete fusion of the two souls, no one in the world could be his opponent.

Only after Dumbledore used the power of death to kill him once, Jon took advantage of his weakness and discomfort after being resurrected to kill him once again.

Of course, such an opportunity will never happen again, and it is impossible for Voldemort to give them such an opportunity again.

Hearing Voldemort's sarcasm, Jon also acted very calmly, as if he didn't care at all that his attack was ineffective.

"I've always wanted to know one thing."

This was the first time that Jon took the initiative to come to Voldemort to ask a question.

Black mist shrouded around Voldemort, making him even more mysterious and gloomy.

"tell me the story."

"The purpose of your fusion of two souls is to have a stronger will to cast spells, right?"

Voldemort chuckled.

"A mage's spellcasting is either based on magic power or on the soul. Otherwise, why do you think I am doing it?"

"But the soul does not represent all of the will."

Jon looked at Voldemort, at the high, god-like dark wizard.

"If you are only spiritually strong but emotionally deficient, what use will it have to magic?"

After hearing Jon's words, Voldemort suddenly showed an expression of disgust on his face.

"You don't want to be like Dumbledore and want to talk about love with me, do you?"

Jon shook his head.

"The professor is actually saying that love is the most powerful emotion in spellcasting. This is actually true, but in the end, just like people, there is no up or down in any emotion. But no matter what

A spell must have emotions, what about you? What kind of emotions are mixed in when you cast a spell?"

"Is it just the desire for power?"

Hearing Jon's last words, Voldemort squinted and smiled.

"Do you think it's abnormal to use desire to cast spells? Then tell me, what kind of emotions are not desires? Love or hate, aren't they both desires themselves?"
