Chapter 155

After all, Lu Huaien was a little weak, and the fever started again in the middle of the night. Lu Man stayed up almost all night, and didn't fall asleep lying on the bedside until dawn.

In the dream, there were giggles and soft conversations coming from far and near to her eardrums. She moved, blinked her eyelids, and opened her eyes in confusion.

The first thing that came into view was her son's pale little face, which was covered with fever-reducing plaster. He was giggling and moving something in his hand. She suddenly woke up completely.

"Yes, you're awake? Are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere?" Lu Man spoke urgently, reaching out to Lu Huai'en's forehead and touching it. It was no longer hot. He breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I'm sorry, the fever is gone."

, Mommy fell asleep”

"Isn't that true? Someone is sleeping like a little pig, and he seems to be drooling. Well, don't you think so?" A gentle male voice suddenly sounded behind her, causing Lawrence Lu to cover his mouth and snicker.

Lu Man turned around and looked at Dong Jin, who had a refreshing face but some dark circles under his eyes. His face was slightly red and he said, "Brother Dong, why are you here too?"

"You were keeping vigil last night. I was afraid that you would be too busy alone, so I bought some breakfast." Dong Jin smiled and pointed to the breakfast on the coffee table and said, "You go wash your face first and then eat breakfast. I asked

I've been to the doctor, and it's nothing serious. I can go through the formalities and leave the hospital in a while."

"Yeah." Lu Man smiled and nodded when she heard this, stood up, and slipped a coat off her body. She quickly picked it up and saw clearly that it was Dong Jin's coat, and she felt warm in her heart.

She handed him the coat and walked out of the emergency ward. When she reached the door, she looked back and saw Dong Jin taking the water cup beside him and feeding Lu Huaien gently.

Seeing this warm and cozy scene, Lu Man's eyes suddenly heated up, and an unknown feeling slipped through her heart. She pursed her lips and walked quickly to the bathroom.

After returning from the bathroom, Dong Jin poured her a glass of warm water and took a sip. Lu Huaien said, "Mommy, I was wrong yesterday. I'm sorry for making you worry."

Lu Man swallowed the warm water, put down the cup, looked at her son's pale little face, and said in a stern tone: "Didn't Mommy ask you to wait in that chair? Why did you go somewhere else?"

Lu Huaien pursed his lips and lowered his head

"Don't blame him, it's just the child's curiosity that caused the disaster." Seeing this, Dong Jin glanced at Lu Huai'en with warm eyes, and then said to Lu Man: "As for me, the child has already told me what happened."

It turned out that the mother and son were tired from playing yesterday. When they saw the popcorn stall, Enen looked at it greedily. When Lu Man saw it, she told him to wait on the chair nearby while she went to buy it.

Lu Huaien was a well-behaved child, and he sat down and waited obediently after listening to his mother's words. However, the line to buy popcorn was very long and there were many people, so he got bored after a while.

At this moment, a man in a clown costume was handing out balloons with a bunch of balloons. Many children were surrounding him. Lu Huai'en felt itchy when he saw it. He looked at Mommy waiting in the crowd and ran over.

The balloons were quickly distributed, but Lawrence Lu didn't get any. His face was full of disappointment. The clown told him to wait and he would get it later.

Lu Huaien nodded and the clown walked away. Soon a man came over and said that the clown brother just now was sending balloons over there. There were so many people that he couldn't leave, so he asked him to take him there.

How did Lu Huaien know that his disappointment in asking for a balloon just now had been seen by others? Seeing that he was well-behaved and beautiful, and he was alone, he had already had bad intentions.

Lu Huai'en was held by the man's hand and kept walking forward. To outsiders, they looked like a father and son. Although the man looked wretched and the child was so beautiful, when he walked to a place with few people, Lu Huaien felt that something was wrong and quickly walked away.

The man's hand said: "I don't want the balloon anymore" and ran towards the way he came.

How could a man let a duck with his mouth fly away? Seeing that there was no one on either side, he picked up Lu Huai'en and walked towards the parking lot. Lu Huai'en was so frightened that he yelled, struggled and kicked. The man was afraid that he would attract people.

Man, give Lu Huaien a slap in the face if you hit him hard

Walking to the parking lot, the man stopped in one of the cars. Lu Huaien took the opportunity to bite the man's hand hard. The man let go of his hand in pain, and Lu Huaien ran away quickly.

There were many cars in the parking lot. Lu Huai'en's body was small. He ducked left and right in the gaps between the cars. The man chased after him. When he got to a place where people gradually became more crowded, he didn't dare to chase openly. He walked slower, which gave Lu Huai'en a chance.

Lu Huaien was scared and tired, and was out of breath from running. From a distance, he saw a man opening the trunk of a car to put things in. His heart moved and he ran over.

The man who put the things put away the things and walked into the restroom nearby. Lawrence Lu looked behind him and saw that the kidnapper was about to catch up. He quickly opened the unlocked trunk and climbed up.

Just after he had closed the trunk of the car, he heard the kidnapper asking: "Did you see a little boy of four or five years old? That's my son. He got lost accidentally."

He was so frightened that he covered his mouth and did not dare to breathe out. He huddled in the trunk of the car. After a while, he felt the car start to move, but he did not dare to move. In the end, either because of fear or because he was tired from running,

I fell asleep somehow

"You also know what happened next." Dong Jin said what En En told him in an understatement, but with great joy. Lu Man felt his heart tremble when he heard it, and the hot water in his hand became cold.

"Didn't Mommy tell you not to talk to strangers or ask for their things? Why are you disobedient?" Lu Man glared at Lu Huai'en sharply and lectured in a deep voice.

Lu Huaien shrank, glanced at her timidly, and said weakly: "Mommy, I don't dare anymore."

"It's your good luck this time, but your good luck will run out one day. Next time you do this, I don't know who will abduct you. What do you want mommy to do?" Even though Lu Huaien admitted his mistake, Lu Man still refused.

Lesson learned: "If you want to never see mommy, just trust strangers."

Dong Jin saw Lu Huai'en's big eyes full of tears and her face was pale, as pitiful as a kitten. He couldn't help but patted her shoulder and said: "En'en knows how powerful she is. I believe that after this incident, he will wake up in the future."

One thing makes another wise, children should be taught slowly, eh? He is still sick."

"Mommy, I really know I was wrong, and I won't dare to do it anymore." Lu Huaien pitifully stretched out his little hand to shake her arm.

Lu Man had a straight face and shook off his hand. Her eye circles were red and she bit her lower lip. Thinking of that thrilling scene, she felt her heart tremble.

After hearing Dong Jin's persuasion and seeing her son's tears, Lu Man's heart softened again. She hugged him and said, "Mommy is also wrong, but um, um, mommy is really scared.

I can’t find you or see you. If you are really taken away, Mommy really won’t be able to survive.”

"Mommy, I won't run around anymore" Lu Huai'en cried muffledly in his arms.

Dong Jin watched the mother and son crying together, smiled helplessly and shook his head. His eyes swept to the figure standing at the door of the ward, and he couldn't help but raise his eyebrows.
