Chapter 6 Indifference

Jin Chengjun walked into the room while wiping the sweat from his forehead. What he saw was the scene of Lu Man holding on to the quilt and being naked in a daze. His eyes fell on her white and crystal clear skin, and his phoenix eyes narrowed.

Lu Man heard the sound and looked over, only to see Jin Chengjun leaning against the door, with the same weird and vague smile from last night on his lips.

Subconsciously, she pulled up the quilt in her hand, her face turned red, and she looked at him nervously, her red and swollen lips moved, but she couldn't utter a single word.

Jin Chengjun sneered, walked into the bedroom, threw the white towel in his hand into the laundry basket at the bathroom door, and walked straight into the bathroom without saying a word.

The sound of water soon came from the bathroom, and Lu Man's high-pitched heart returned to its original state. She breathed a sigh of relief, and then she felt a slight chill on her back. She reached out and touched it, and it was covered with sweat.

Looking at the water in his hand, Lu Man felt a little startled. How could he be so nervous and frightened?

She looked at the closed bathroom door, with constant doubts in her mind. Her heart was as heavy as wet cotton, and her uneasiness spread like a vine.

She suddenly had the feeling that she didn't understand Jin Chengjun, and she felt that he was strange, and she was even a little afraid of him.

But for a moment, Lu Man shook his head and laughed secretly that he was thinking too much. In the past six months, they had been so close that it was enviable. It must be because they were too tired, so they were thinking too much.

While he was in trance, Jin Chengjun had already walked out. The water droplets on his bronzed skin had not yet been wiped dry. He had a white towel wrapped around his waist, and his hair was dripping wet.

He glanced at Lu Man, narrowed his eyes, and said indifferently: "How long do you want to sit down?"

"Ah?" Lu Man was a little stunned. He glanced at each other, his face turned red, and he mumbled, "Oh, I'll go freshen up right away."

According to the plan, the day after their wedding, they would fly to Europe for their honeymoon.

She stood up, took a deep breath, and frowned, it hurt.

"You rest, I want to go back to the company." Jin Chengjun looked at her shaky appearance, with an unknown smile on his lips, and walked into the dressing room.

Lu Man was stunned and looked at his back. He said, go back to the company?

Jin Chengjun quickly changed his clothes and came out. He was dressed in black, a black suit, a black shirt, and black leather shoes. He was buttoning his buttons and went straight out without looking at Lu Man.

"Where are you going?" Lu Man stopped him in his tracks.
