Chapter 15 Xiangzu's Notes (Part 2)

Four of the poems in Zhuang Rui's manuscript were recorded in the book "Biography of Qing Dynasty Figures" and were written by one person. After carefully recording the person's life story in his mind, Zhuang Rui put down the book in his hand.

.

The author of these poems is Wang Shizhen in the early Qing Dynasty. Wang Shizhen's original name was Shizhen, also known as Zizhen, also known as Ruan Ting, and also named Yuyang Shanren, so some people also called him Wang Yuyang. As a Han Chinese, after his death, Emperor Kangxi gave him the posthumous title of

Wen Jian, who was born in Xincheng (now Huantai County, Shandong Province), was the most outstanding poet in the early Qing Dynasty.

Wang Shizhen was born in a family of officials for generations. His grandfather Wang Xiangjin was the chief envoy of Henan Province in the Ming Dynasty. Wang Shizhen entered a private school at the age of five and read the Book of Songs when he was six or seven. In the seventh year of Shunzhi, he took the boy examination and even won the exam.

Ranking first among counties, prefectures, and roads is equivalent to today's top scorer in elementary, middle, and college entrance exams. In the 15th year of Shunzhi, he won Jinshi in the 1898 Science and Technology Examination, and his literary reputation gradually spread.

When he was 23 years old, Wang Shizhen traveled to Jinan and invited famous literary figures in Jinan to gather at the pavilion on the water surface of Daming Lake. He composed four poems about autumn willows.

It became the "Autumn Willow Poetry Society" and became famous throughout the world. Later generations named an alley on the northeastern shore of Daming Lake "Autumn Willow Garden", which refers to the place where Wang Shizhen sang "Autumn Willow".

He took the manuscript out of the box and compared it with the book. What made Zhuang Rui happy was that these Wang Shizhen's famous poems were included in the manuscript, as well as some Qinhuai miscellaneous poems and Xiaoling.

The manuscripts of poems all have bell seals printed on them. Although Zhuang Rui doesn't know much about calligraphy and painting, he also knows that the price of works with markings is much higher than those without markings. But what makes Zhuang Rui ashamed is that,

Until now, he has not recognized what the names on these seals are, who left them, and whether they are Wang Shizhen's private seals.

Wang Shizhen's achievements did not end there. In the fourth year of Kangxi's reign, Wang Shizhen was promoted to a doctor in the household department and became an official in the capital. At that time, there were many talented people and poets in the capital, which provided a stage for Wang Shizhen to display his talents. He proposed "Charm" in his poetry creation.

"It is said that he founded a generation of poetry and has a large number of famous poems handed down to the world. His poems about scenery are especially praised. The sentence "Green Yang City Wall is Yangzhou" in his Xiaoling was used as a title by many famous painters at that time. Emperor Kangxi called it

"Excellent in both poetry and prose", "erudite and good at poetry and prose".

In the 17th year of Kangxi's reign, Wang Shizhen was summoned by the emperor to "compose a poem to express the imperial edict, become a lecturer in the Hanlin Academy, move to serve as a minister, and enter the Shinan Study Room." He became the first person in the Qing Dynasty who served as a Ci official in the Han Dynasty.

Zhuang Rui often read some historical biographies. He knew that the South Study Room was the place where the literary attendants of the Qing Dynasty emperors were on duty. Scholars in the Qing Dynasty regarded it as an important place for the Qing Dynasty, and they were proud to be able to enter it. Sometimes they would draft edicts and edicts in accordance with the emperor's wishes.

After the order, Emperor Kangxi also issued an edict asking Wang Shizhen to submit a poem manuscript. This was a very rare honor at the time. Wang Shizhen was the most popular person in the court at that time.

Wang Shizhen was erudite and fond of antiquity. He could identify calligraphy, paintings, tripods and Yi tribes, fine gold and stone seal carvings, and was a master craftsman of poetry. He was also known as Zhu Yizun. His calligraphy was as good as that of Jin people and was highly praised by future generations. Wang Shizhen's early poems were clear and elegant.

, becomes vigorous after middle age, good at all kinds of sports, especially Qijue.

Moreover, this man also loved talents very much. During the Kangxi Dynasty, after Wang Shizhen succeeded Qian Qianyi to lead the poetry circle, he became the recognized leader of the literary circle in the early Qing Dynasty. For a time, newcomers in the poetry circle and juniors in the literary circle came to the capital to seek guidance from famous teachers on their works, and they were often the first to see him.

Wang Shizhen will become famous if he can get even a word of praise from him.

Zhuang Rui also saw an interesting allusion in the book. At that time, Pu Songling was a stagnant scholar. He was full of knowledge, but was not appreciated by others. After the famous "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio" was written, there was no way

Being known by the world, Pu Songling found Wang Shizhen in desperation.

After Wang Shizhen read the first draft, he greatly appreciated Pu Songling's "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio", wrote many comments and returned the first draft to Pu Songling, and also gave Pu Songling a poem: "If you talk nonsense and listen to it, it will rain in the bean shed.

Like silk. The material should be disgusted with human speech, and love to listen to the ghosts singing poems in autumn graves." This shows Wang Shizhen's support and love for Pu Songling.

In order for "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio" to be published, Wang Shizhen wrote "Wang Ruanting's Appraisal" on the manuscript, which caused various bookshops to scramble for the manuscript and take pride in publishing "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio". Celebrities at the time praised this matter: "

The country's cultural governance has been outstanding for a long time, elegance has been promoted, great princes have appeared one after another, and a generation of authentic people must be headed by the prince of the new city."

Basically all the works in Wang Shizhen's life have been published and preserved. They were published from the Kangxi year to the Republic of China. The book in Zhuang Rui's hand is actually "Xiangzu Notes" handwritten with a brush, and it is very likely that it was originally

Wang Shizhen's autographed manuscript, if it is Wang Shizhen's handwriting, it would be truly worth a fortune.

You must know that although Wang Shizhen's poems are well known to later generations, very few of his calligraphy handwritings have been handed down. A domestic auction house once sold Wang Shizhen's "Hand Mirror of Life and Manuscript Album", which only had a few pages of manuscripts.

, the final transaction price was as high as 1.57 million yuan.

Of course, Zhuang Rui still knew nothing about these at this time, but through these information, he felt a little confident. With Wang Shizhen's status as a literary leader during the Kangxi Emperor, what happened to the manuscripts left behind?

It's more than 20,000 yuan. To say the least, even if it is handwritten by a descendant of Wang Shizhen, it can still be regarded as a rare ancient book.

Zhuang Rui has made up his mind. When he returns to Shanghai, he will take this manuscript with him and let Uncle De authenticate it. If it is genuine, he will entrust Uncle De to auction it. For Zhuang Rui, the greatest role of this manuscript has been

After being discovered by himself, of course he had to make use of his financial benefits. After all, the 20,000 yuan spent to buy this manuscript accounted for one-third of Zhuang Rui's current net worth.

After getting out of the warm bed, he carefully put the manuscript back into the camphor wood box, and then lay back on the bed. Zhuang Rui suddenly came up with an idea. He could absorb the spiritual energy from these calligraphy, and could he also absorb it from other antiques?

What about the aura? After all, both of these things came by chance. The couplet was a relic of my grandfather, but getting this manuscript was all based on my own luck. If the old lady had taken out the manuscript in another shop, she would probably have

It's not his turn to buy it. Zhuang Rui doesn't believe that those who specialize in antique business will think that this is just a broken book like Liu Chuan did.

"With this ability, can I do something, become a calligraphy and painting appraiser? I don't even know seal characters, so I can use fluoroscopy to see instant lottery tickets? If I am caught on the scene, I will be sent to the designated hospital.

After the dissection, is it possible that this superpower can only peek at women's bodies?"

Zhuang Rui's mind was a little confused for a while, and he started to think wildly. What happened today had a great impact on him. Not to mention the upgrade of the aura in his eyes, even spending a huge sum of 20,000 yuan at one time would have a huge impact on his usual life.

For Zhuang Rui, who had at most a few hundred dollars in his pocket, this was the first time in his life.

"By the way, there are still many people like Mrs. Zeng who are rich but ignorant. I can buy low, sell high, and make a profit from it..."

Zhuang Rui's mind suddenly flashed, and he positioned himself as a second-rate dealer. But he didn't know that nowadays, with the improvement of living standards, the antique business is gradually heating up. All kinds of fakes, imitations, and blind goods are flooding the market. Inside the Forbidden City in Beijing

None of the experts and professors dared to say that they had never had eye surgery.

As the saying goes: The ignorant are fearless. Zhuang Rui fell asleep with the happy feeling that he had found his life goal.
