Chapter 79: Depressed Mood: Fired

It was already evening when we returned to City C, but the weather seemed to be very bad.

Su Ziyue sat on the bus and looked out through the foggy glass window at the hazy scene with blurred lights. Raindrops as dense as cow hair knocked diagonally on the glass, making a "ding dong" sound.

I don’t know why, every time it rains, Su Ziyue always feels an inexplicable sadness in her heart.

The car continued to drive and stopped in front of the coffee shop. Su Ziyue and others got out of the car one after another, carrying their luggage and ran towards the shop.

"We are back!" The three of them said at the same time, but everyone was busy with what they were doing, and no one responded. Only someone glanced at Su Ziyue with a sigh.

What's going on? It felt weird. Su Ziyue looked at the busy figures in the store with some confusion.

"You don't have to come tomorrow, Xiaoyue! This is half a month's salary." The usually stern store manager suddenly appeared with a white envelope in his hand and said calmly.

"Why?" Su Ziyue opened her mouth in shock, and the luggage bag in her hand fell straight to the white floor.

Shirley and Li Xuanmei on the side also looked surprised, but more puzzled.

"No why? Take this," the store manager stuffed the envelope into Su Ziyue's cold palm, said with an embarrassed look, then turned and left.

Su Ziyue just felt like a bolt from the blue. Why was this happening? What about her high school tuition fees?

"Store manager, don't fire me!" Su Ziyue shouted in a tearful tone, but the store manager went straight into the office without looking back.

"Xiao Yue, don't blame me, I have no choice but to do it." The store manager returned to the office, looked at the golden letter on the desk, and murmured.

"Xiaoyue, are you okay?" Xiaomei on the side asked worriedly.

"I'm fine." Su Ziyue raised her head feebly, and the scattered hair on her forehead covered her big, sad eyes.

"Damn it, Yueyue, I won't do it either!" Shirley took out the maid uniform from her bag and threw it to the ground.

"Let's go, what's the big deal, let's go!" Shirley grabbed Su Ziyue's arm and shouted loudly. At the end, she even spat.

"Xiaomei, what about you?" After Shirley finished speaking, she turned around and looked at Li Xuanmei who was aside.

"I, I, I'm sorry, I can't live without this job." Xiaomei lowered her head and whispered in embarrassment, her voice getting lower and lower.

"Lily, don't talk anymore, let's go, Xiaomei, take good care of yourself in the future, goodbye!" Su Ziyue said and walked out with Shirley.

The rain outside is getting heavier and heavier, almost blocking people's sight, but it brings a little bit of coolness to the sultry weather.

After standing outside the door for a while, Shirley's driver drove over.

"Yueyue, get in the car. I'll ask the driver to take you home." Shirley wanted to drag Su Ziyue into the car, but Su Ziyue remained motionless.

"Don't worry about me, I'll go back by myself." Su Ziyue took off Shirley's arm

"Okay, then be careful on the road and go back early." So Shirley took an umbrella from the car and handed it to Su Ziyue, then got in the car and left.

Su Ziyue stood under the eaves for a while, then walked into the rain curtain holding an umbrella

Su Ziyue lowered her head and was filled with thoughts, and her beautiful eyebrows were knitted together. Why did you want to fire me? Could it be that guy Nan Haozhe?

"Ta-ta..." A harsh trumpet sounded next to Su Ziyue, interrupting her thoughts.
