29. Chapter 29 The Third Miss Goes Mad 01

Su Mo's heart suddenly filled with anger.

Such a little brat knows how to frame people.

The third lady looked at the girls next to her, "Tell me, is it her?"

The girls all knew that the third young lady was the apple of the eye of the Duke and his wife, so how dare they disobey her? Even if they didn't say it clearly, they all lowered their heads.

The Duke's wife's face sank and she looked at Su Mo, "Fourth girl, is this true?"

Su Mo's mind was racing. If she said no immediately, Mrs. Wang would punish herself even if she knew.

But if it were you, it would be even more troublesome, giving them an excuse to deal with you.

She immediately looked aggrieved, sobbed, stretched out her little hand, and murmured: "I accidentally overturned the candlestick and burned my hand."

Mrs. Wang saw a few drops of wax on the back of her hand, which must have been splashed when the candlestick fell over.

Sitting in that position, it was impossible for her to knock down the candlestick with her hand, unless she lay down on it.

The third lady’s position happened to occupy the entire kang table.

So it’s self-evident what happened.

Mrs. Wang glanced at Miss Third. She pouted and puffed out her cheeks, as if she wanted to beat Su Mo.

Mrs. Wang said calmly: "Xin'er, did you accidentally push it down?"

The third young lady immediately said: "She pushed me."

Su Mo immediately stretched out her hand obediently and said, "Madam, please punish me."

Seeing her honest and submissive look, Mrs. Wang smiled and said, "Children are just making noises. Forget it, don't do it again."

Su Mo nodded.

The third young lady, however, refused to give in. She frowned, widened her eyes, and asked angrily, "Why don't you hit her? I'm going to tell daddy."

She climbed down slowly, and the nanny below immediately came forward to hug her and put on her shoes.

Mrs. Wang's face sank and she hummed, "Are there any rules?"

The third young lady said angrily: "I told dad, but I won't tell you."

Then she asked Mother Li to hold her and walk quickly to find her father.

Su Mo pursed her lips and shed tears, "Madam, it's all my fault."

Pretending to be pitiful appropriately is a necessary means for a big family to survive. Su Mo summed it up very well.

She has read countless books, so she naturally has to learn and apply them.

Mrs. Wang took her into her arms and said, "Poor child, don't be afraid, mother loves you."
