Chapter 10: Confrontation 1

As she expected, Xiaoyu's voice sounded right after the door opened: "Miss, it's better to go to bed early today. Tomorrow we have to start homework again. If Miss is not energetic enough, I'm afraid she will be punished again."

"Well!" Ling Wu put down the treatment in her hand, took the teacup handed over by Xiaoyu, and took a sip: "You can just take me there tomorrow morning."

Lingwu paused for a while, realizing that she didn't get the answer she wanted. She looked up at Xiaoyu who was hesitant to speak: "What's the matter?"

Xiaoyu shook her head hurriedly: "Nothing, I'll come early tomorrow morning."

Lingwu looked at Xiaoyu's eyes thoughtfully, and had a hunch in her heart that there seemed to be many things she didn't understand.

--

Lingwu slowed down her pace. Although she was walking in front of Xiaoyu, her eyes were paying attention to Xiaoyu's eyes. She followed the instructions in her eyes and walked to a courtyard gate accurately.

Xiaoyu hesitated for a moment, and rushed in front of Lingwu to help her open the closed courtyard door. Then she stood aside and said, "Miss, I'll be waiting for you here."

Lingwu raised her eyebrows, and just as she was about to speak, a burst of harsh words came from behind her: "When did Xiaoyu become so diligent?"

Ling Wu curled up the corner of her mouth slightly, not wanting to pay attention to this person at all, and walked straight into the yard without looking back.

"Stop!" the voice yelled angrily: "Miss Sixteen, it's not like I'm a maid who talks too much. Why didn't you come over and say hello when you saw my second young lady coming? I'm a waiter and I'm just uneducated."

Ling Wu sighed secretly in her heart. She didn't want to cause trouble at all, but why did things always come to her? If she remembered correctly, the owner of this voice was the person she heard three days ago.

Turning around quietly and looking at the mouth that was still talking, Lingwu sighed: "Don't you think your master can even teach you the most basic etiquette? Do you even dare to teach me a lesson?"

"Master?" The man covered his mouth and laughed exaggeratedly: "Second Miss, does that idiot really think she is the same master as you?"

"Xiao Hong, don't be unreasonable!" The dressed-up man standing aside rolled his eyes and scolded: "You have to know that your status is not comparable to hers. There is no need to argue with someone who was born from a cheap concubine!"

Although she was teaching her maid a lesson, the meaning behind her words was directed at Ling Wu.
