Chapter 67: The Ghost in the Well 4

The nanny was crying and unwilling to leave. Qingcheng frantically searched for his mother among the broken bricks and tiles. The once-quiet Luochen Residence was now bustling with activity and chaos.

The eldest lady shouted loudly to everyone and asked them to take the wet nurse out. The strange thing was that the general just stared blankly, indifferent, and allowed them to make noise.

Qingcheng searched through Luochen's residence but found nothing. Disappointment, sadness, and heartache forced her to breathe. Sitting on the big black stone slab in the courtyard, the jade pendant around her neck was as sharp as ice. Qingcheng stretched out his hand.

Pull out the crystal clear jade pendant - is this a relic of your mother?

Stroking it: Can you tell me where your master is now?

Renyu looked at each other and was speechless. Qingcheng raised his head and met the general's sad gaze. Was he looking at himself? No, it should be the piece of jade in his hand! That's not right, to be precise, it should be Qingcheng.

The black stone slab that sat on.

In his mind, he saw snow-white clothes, black slates, and a sad figure in the melancholy night. With a flash of inspiration, Qingcheng stood up, bent down and pushed the slate he had just sat on, and screamed at the general in a sad voice:

"My mother is down here, isn't she?"

The eldest lady who had originally asked the maids to help the nanny out was immediately horrified when she saw Qingcheng like this, and screamed sharply: "The fourth young lady is also crazy. There is evil in this courtyard. We must drag them away together."

Soon, Qingcheng was grabbed by Xiao Si, the maid who came forward, and was dragged out.

"Mom." She screamed hysterically. Qingcheng slapped the person who caught her hard.

With a muffled groan, Qingcheng opened her mouth and bit one of the men, Xiao Si, who caught her.

The man let go of his hand, became furious, looked at Qingcheng fiercely, and cursed "madman." He also waved his hand towards her.

"Miss." There seemed to be a butterfly screaming in the chaos. Qingcheng closed his eyes, it seemed that he couldn't escape this anger.

His whole body relaxed, and the restraint on his body seemed to be resolved. His unsteady body also leaned to one side, touching the strong and warm embrace. Before Qingcheng could even open his eyes, he heard a fierce roar: "How dare you touch her."

Opening his eyes, he met eyes full of anger and nervous concern---it was the Shocking Blade.

The boiling courtyard just now seemed to have been filled with a ladle of cold water - it fell silent.

"Are you okay?" Concerned words overflowed from those two full lips.

Qingcheng's nose felt sore, thinking of his mother whom he had never met before and whose life or death was uncertain, he couldn't help but call out in grievance: "Shocking Blade."

"Yes." Jingren agreed softly, the joy in his voice could not be concealed, and his eyes looking at Qingcheng were even more gentle.

"My mother..." Her nose became sore and swollen again, and she swallowed back her unfinished words. In the blink of an eye, she saw the black stone slab that she couldn't push open even with all her strength.

"Shocking Blade, push it away."

"Yes." Still agreeing gently, Jingren helped Qingcheng aside. He turned around and squatted down, holding the edge of the stone slab with both hands.

"No." The eldest lady screamed, her face turned pale. She threw away the people over there and rushed towards the Jingblade.

The general's eyes did not change, but he said quietly, as if talking to himself: "It's time to let Luochen see the light of day."

When the eldest lady heard this, she was immediately speechless, and her whole body became decadent.

Jingblade exerted force, and the black stone slab turned over completely, revealing the faint cave entrance underneath, braving the icy cold air.

It was a well, but the edge of the well had been buried by dead branches and leaves.

Qingcheng approached and looked around. He could vaguely see a white shadow in the green water waves.

A heart-piercing pain suddenly hit his heart. "Mom." Qingcheng screamed in surprise, and jumped straight down without even thinking.

Ice-cold water surged in from all directions, flooding Qingcheng. The screams outside were isolated and disappeared the moment the water came over. There was such tranquility here that time almost stopped flowing.

Opening his eyes, he saw in front of him the woman he saw in his dream, the night that seemed like a dream but not a dream. She smiled gently at him, and it seemed that he could hear her gentle call "Qingcheng" from her lightly opened red lips.

He stretched out his hand to touch, and inadvertently, something seemed to flow through his fingers. At this moment, Qingcheng's consciousness was so clear: he was her daughter, the daughter she was reluctant to let go of, miss in every possible way, and worry about in every possible way. She was

Love yourself!

The water splashed again, and the mother in front of me was like the bright moon thrown into the mirror lake by pebbles, and the pieces dispersed.

In the splash of water, there was another thing opposite Qingcheng, a hazy white piece. Before she could take a closer look, her body had been pushed out of the water and jumped into the air.
