108 Mirror of Erised

Going down the spiral staircase of the west tower and walking in the castle corridor at night, Anton felt much better.

There is a quiet bustle in the castle at night.

In the picture frame on the wall, characters are running around, and there are even two women fighting.

A ghost riding a huge horse galloped past.

The twins crawled out from a corner, said hello to Anton, and then got into the secret passage.

Ron's hairless mouse was chased by several cats and ran very fast in the corridor not far away.

That was Wormtail, Anton knew it, but he didn't bother to care.

As he walked along like this, he saw an open abandoned classroom.

Looking in from the gate, you can vaguely see a huge mirror standing on the innermost wall.

"Mirror of Erised?"

Anton's heart moved and he walked in curiously.

To be honest, he was a little curious.

It is introduced in a fan novel that the Mirror of Erised spelled backwards is the Mirror of Desire, which allows people to see the most urgent and strongest desires deep in their hearts.

Anton wondered what his desire was.

More delicious food? More magical magic? Or going back to a previous life?

Forget the last one, he was an orphan in his previous life and had a girlfriend, but if it weren't for the watch given by Pedro that could peek into the past, many things about his girlfriend would have been forgotten long ago.

He studied hard all his life, worked diligently, and eventually became a house slave.

It's better now, like a traveler.

The Mirror of Erised is very tall, almost reaching the ceiling, with a gorgeous golden frame, supported by two claw-shaped feet underneath.

There is a line of words engraved on the top, Eris Stella Ohru Ayite Ubi Kafulu Ayiteon Voorhees.

But looking at it backwards, it should be the correct content: What I show is not your mirror image, but your inner desire.

So,

What is desire?

Anton looked intently, and a short video image he had seen in his previous life appeared in the mirror.

That was the scene after Sirius died and fell into the Department of Mysteries behind the curtain, except that person became himself.

There was an extraordinarily relaxed and smiling face, as if to say - Hey, great, everything is over.

"Ha~"

Anton sneered, "Boring."

Everyone will die, and what he has experienced can make him accept death calmly, but it does not mean that he is world-weary.

Why the hell do you want to die when you are living so well?

I haven’t lived enough yet!

Anton turned to leave. He was worried about why the Mirror of Erised showed such a scene, so it would be more practical to go back and have a good sleep.

"Child, what do you see in the mirror?"

Dumbledore's voice came from beside him, and Anton blinked. The super concentration trained by the old wizard did not make him jump, but he wanted to say, in the middle of the night, you would be scared if you suddenly appeared like this.

dead person's!

Turning around, I saw Lao Deng sitting on a table, wearing loose Death Barbie pink pajamas and a plush hat with a crooked peak like a wizard's hat. It was the same set of pajamas.

Half-moon glasses with gold frames and a hand full of weird rings.

It has to be said that since Anton came into contact with the wizarding world, Professor Dumbledore's clothes have never let him down.

The top trendy man in the wizarding world, a super handsome old boy.

"Myself." Anton said truthfully.

He discovered that the eyes of these top wizards, whether they were Dumbledore or Voldemort, could always penetrate people's hearts. He didn't know whether it was because of the Legilimency spell or because they themselves had powerful eyes that were good at observing people's hearts.

.

If it wasn't something very important, he wouldn't bother to lie to these two people.

"That's really nice." Dumbledore slid down from the table. "The happiest person in the world can use the Mirror of Erised as an ordinary mirror. In other words, what he sees in the mirror is his own.

appearance."

Anton rolled his eyes, "I'm dead in the mirror."

"!!!" Dumbledore looked surprised.

Anton spread his hands helplessly, "I am very sure that I am not tired of the world, nor do I have any thoughts of ending my life. On the contrary, I desire to live more than anyone else, and I have put in a lot of effort for this."

These words interrupted Dumbledore's explanation before he could speak. He looked at the mirror and then at Anton in confusion.

"Yes, come with me." Dumbledore waved.

The two people came out of the classroom, and the wooden door slowly closed automatically behind them.

An old man and a young boy walked along the stone stairs towards Dumbledore's office.

"I went to the Forbidden Forest with him tonight, and he had to rely on the blood of magical animals to survive." Anton said casually, "He said a lot of bad things about you after he came back, but it can be seen that he still respects you.

A bit like……"

Anton looked strange, "like a child who ran away from home after a quarrel with his father."

Dumbledore looked complicated and sighed, "I brought him from the orphanage to Hogwarts. Maybe I played the role of father in his life, but it's a pity that I didn't do it well."

The two chatted while walking.

"Professor Dumbledore, staying up late at night and guarding the Mirror of Erised is not a good thing." Anton's face was full of ridicule, "Looking at illusory things can't solve anything."

"Oh, Fiennes is right, you kid is so hateful sometimes." Dumbledore complained and pursed his lips, "There are so many helpless things in family, love, friendship, and life.

Sometimes we find that magic spells cannot solve everything, but make people feel even more powerless."

"I don't think so."

Anton chuckled, "All situations are gifts from fate, and we must learn to accept them calmly. Of course, sometimes I will call fate a little bitch, and then try my best to change everything, as long as I don't have to accept it in the future.

Just feel sorry."

"Don't you feel sorry?" Dumbledore stopped.

"Well." Anton's eyes seemed to be shining brightly in the dark night, "Aunt Ilsa, oh, she is Lupine's girlfriend. They forced me to watch a movie four years ago. They said it was very good.

It's educational, and it's called "84 Charing Cross", which is the street where the Leaky Cauldron is."

"This street is full of bookstores. An American lady found the address of a bookstore in order to buy a used book. She started a decades-long correspondence with the bookstore owner. Through letters, she also got to know the bookstore owner.

Every employee often mails gifts to each other every holiday."

"This feeling of being like soul mates despite never meeting each other is extremely wonderful."

"It was not until decades later that the lady who had not been waiting for a reply for a long time made up her mind to come to No. 84 Charing Cross Street, England, to take a look at this bookstore. She met the bookstore owner and everyone who has been with her heart for decades.

As soon as we meet."

"When she arrived, the bookstore owner was dead and the bookstore was closed." Anton shrugged, "I think she was suffering from late-stage procrastination. Aunt Ilsa said it was tacit romance, and Uncle Lupin said it was a tacit romance.

Afraid that reality will crush the dream.”

"But no matter what, this will be the biggest regret in her life."

"..."

Dumbledore looked at the dark night sky outside the corridor window with dark eyes, and took a deep breath.

"I originally planned to persuade you to do something, but you persuaded me instead."

Anton shrugged, with an innocent expression on his face, and blinked.
