042 Farewell

Lian Hua sat up on the sofa. It felt really bad to be woken up after taking a nap.

She remembered that she seemed to be burned by fire in her sleep. When the heat became uncomfortable, she was pressed and licked by some large animal. Could it be that the feeling just now was that of a ghost pressing down on the bed?

Lian Hua frowned. Sure enough, he shouldn't have fallen asleep in an unfamiliar place. He dreamed of being kissed by something. It was really disgusting!

Gently lifting the thing covering her body, she was startled by the touch of it. She remembered that she was wearing Mu Chen's suit, but what was in her hand now?

The darkness in the room made it difficult for her to see what was in her hands. Lian Hua stood up and turned on the light while murmuring, did she remember to turn off the light before falling asleep? How come she must not remember?

As soon as the switch was turned on, the room was filled with soft and bright light. She looked at the blanket in her hand and the suit that had slipped under the sofa. She couldn't figure out what was going on. What was going on with this inexplicable blanket and how could the suit be there?

On the ground, was she so tired that she forgot something?

"Lian Hua, are you in the room? Can you come in?" There was a knock on the door suddenly, and Mu Chen asked worriedly.

"Ah, here we come!" Lian Hua put down the blanket and ignored the unsolvable matter. He stood up and opened the door and said with a smile, "Mu Chen, I asked Shi Huan to tell you not to worry about me, so why did you put down the guests and come up?"

Mu Chen walked into the door, looked at her unharmed cheek, and breathed a sigh of relief: "I'm afraid that the broken wine glass will hurt you. How can I rest assured if I don't see it myself."

Lian Hua smiled: "You really remember what this Xiaobai said. He asked you to take care of me just casually. I can protect myself."

Mu Chen shook his head helplessly: "I'm afraid of betraying the little white prince's trust. The knight promised to protect the princess. If you are injured, I will commit suicide by committing suicide."

"Well, Sir Knight, are you relieved to see that I'm fine?" Lian Hua pulled up her skirt slightly and performed court etiquette, but immediately smiled and said, "No more fun, no more fun, go ahead and tease the one downstairs.

Guests, you really don’t need to worry about me.”

"Mr. Zhan just arrived to start the reception. I showed off in front of the host for a while, and now I have asked for leave." Mu Chen stared at Lian Hua, "So, I went upstairs to take the princess home."

Lian Hua was stunned. She wanted him to continue socializing, but looking at Mu Chen's serious eyes, she swallowed her words of comfort. After working with Mu Chen for many years, she knew better than anyone how terrible it would be for him to be stubborn.

After picking up the phone and speaking to Shi Huan and Shi Le, Lian Hua followed Mu Chen out of the villa and got into the car. The car started smoothly and drove along the highway out of Zhan's drunken party.

What she didn't know was that there was a pair of eyes staring at her from behind a certain window on the second floor of the villa, from the moment she let someone enter the house until the car drove out of sight...
