Chapter One Hundred and Seventeen I Thought

When I came out of the museum, it was already dusk. Xiang Xiaochuang was still fascinated by an ancient Egyptian golden mask.

"Jarvan, which pharaoh do you think wore that mask?"

Du Jiawen looked at her beaming face and felt that the day was worth living. He had never experienced staying in a museum with a woman, so he felt novel and satisfied for a while.

The sky in New York is blue with a light gray, like all big cities. The sun sets, but it is completely obscured by the towering buildings. Only the cotton-like clouds on the tops of the tall buildings can be seen.

Floppy, rich in layers.

"I think at least it's not Kamula..." Du Jiawen smiled, "Xiaochuang, I didn't expect you to really like museums."

Xiang Xiaochuang's eyes widened: "Of course I really like it, otherwise why would I be here?"

Du Jiawen thought for a while, then suddenly raised his eyebrows and laughed: "You know, no matter where I go, the museum is the one I must visit."

"Really?" Xiang Xiaochuang opened his eyes in disbelief, "But you didn't show much interest. I thought you... didn't like these places."

"I have been to this museum many times. I don't really believe that women would like to stay in the museum, especially the exhibition tubes of ancient Egypt. I thought..."

He didn't say it out loud. He always thought that Xiang Xiaochuang was just trying to please him. Maybe he really overestimated his own charm. Xiang Xiaochuang liked those exhibits far more than he did.

Xiang Xiaochuang was still immersed in the atmosphere of ancient Egypt. Seeing that he didn't continue talking, he didn't take it seriously.

"So you also like museums. I thought you liked those boutiques!" Xiang Xiaochuang made a face, "Every time he suggested a place for me to go, there was nothing new at all. They were all one after another that I had never heard of.

Brand. In fact, which brand of clothes is not the same?"

Du Jiawen let out a muffled laugh, but his hands naturally hugged her waist: "I will take you to Egypt next time. I can be your tour guide."

"Have you been to Egypt?" Xiang Xiaochuang asked unexpectedly.

"Yes, and not once. I stayed there for two summer vacations when I was in college. It is a beautiful and charming place. I have an apartment in Cairo. Although it is not big, the two of us can stay there.

, right on the bank of the Nile, you can see the sunset. The sunset in Cairo is very beautiful, much more beautiful than... in New York."

Xiang Xiaochuang's eyes lit up: "Wow, it's really the Nile River!"

"I think we will have the same hobbies." Du Jiawen smiled, feeling for the first time that he and she could start in a new way.

"Jiawen, I always thought..." Xiang Xiaochuang glanced at him shyly, "I thought you were just a businessman who smelled of copper. No wonder you could tell me where to start. It turns out that you are a frequent visitor to the museum.

"

Du Jiawen laughed, causing passers-by to look at them.

Xiang Xiaochuang quickly pulled his sleeve: "Are my words funny?"

"No, I do smell like copper. No matter what I value, I measure it by money. There is nothing wrong with that. But that doesn't stop me from having many other hobbies, right? Maybe, we haven't spent too much time together.

Short, you have a prejudice against me..."
