Chapter Forty

"Xiao Jing, there is no class in the afternoon, let's go to Haoran's bar together." Xiao He asked Qian Huijing mysteriously.

Qian Huijing looked at Xiao He's mysterious look and asked strangely: "What's the matter?"

"No, just going to play."

Qian Huijing looked at Xiao He, who was a little unusual today, and felt that there was something wrong, but she didn't ask, thinking that she would just say it when she should, so she didn't worry about it.

"Hurry up! They are waiting at the school gate!" As soon as school was over, the two of them screamed in their ears, extremely excited.

"Why are you so excited after school today?" Qian Huijing looked at her two friends strangely.

"Where...there is no one." Nu Xi said hesitantly.

"Are you sure?" Qian Huijing decided to ask her directly to see what they were doing.

"I..." Nu Xi looked at Xiao He next to her for help.

"No." Xiao He answered her firmly. In case she didn't believe it, he looked firmly into her eyes and said.

Qian Huijing stared at her for a while, making sure there was nothing unusual and continued to pack her things.

"Classmate Qian Huijing...".

The three people raised their heads in reaction, looked at the entrance of the classroom, then stood there respectfully looking at the people who walked in, and shouted together: "Hello, teacher."

"Well, classmate Qian Huijing, how are you doing with what the teacher asked you to do?"

Qian Huijing looked at the teacher's expectant eyes, thinking that she had forgotten about it these past few days, and lowered her head in shame.

Xiao He and Nu Xi looked at the teacher and Qian Huijing in confusion, wondering what was going on.

"There is a meeting in a few days, so hurry up!"

Qian Huijing lowered her head, listening to the teacher's footsteps gradually disappearing, and then slowly raised her head.

"What's going on!" Xiao He and Nu Xi came over curiously.

"It's nothing, it's just about the freshman speech. The teacher asked me to help him persuade Leng Gongyi to participate." Qian Huijing thought that she must make it clear to him today.

"Oh... the teacher is quite smart. He knows it's useless to tell him personally, so he just finds you as his girlfriend." Xiao He said provocatively.

"No way, they are still waiting outside! Hurry up."

"That's right! Come on, hurry up, I forgot."

Successfully changed the subject. "But, will he listen to her?" he thought as he walked with the skateboard in his arms.

until…

"Wow! Before I even reached the school gate, my eardrums were ringing from the screams coming from the door. Qian Huijing, whose thoughts were interrupted, frowned unhappily and looked at the crazy girl in front of her.

"What's wrong?" Qian Huijing asked the two people next to her in confusion.

"..." The two of them shook their heads, looking puzzled.

"Xiao He!!!!" came a familiar voice from the center of the crowd.

"Ah!!! It's Haoran and the others!" Xiao He shouted excitedly as he looked at the people in the crowd who were waving their hands to this side.

"They are not being surrounded by these girls, are they!" Nu Xi said worriedly as she looked at the girls in front of her who were forming a circle.

"Maybe, who made the three of them so eye-catching!" Qian Huijing said as if it had nothing to do with her.

The three of them just stood outside and looked at the three boys who were surrounded by girls inside. Two of them stood there anxiously, and only one looked like he was watching a good show, holding his skateboard and watching calmly.

From time to time, a gloating smile appeared on the corner of his mouth that had nothing to do with himself.

In the end, only with the help of security guards from the school, the three poor boys were spared.

"Haoran, are you okay?"

"Bin, how are you?"

Qianhui stood quietly and watched the two friends greeting their beloved.

"You seemed to be gloating just now!!" A cold voice appeared behind Qian Huijing, sending shivers down people's spines.

"Really?" Qian Huijing turned around and looked at him from a distance, adding a sweet smile.

"No? Why did I just see a guy gloating about his misfortune standing next to him and laughing."

Qian Huijing looked at him in surprise. She didn't expect that he could still see her even though she was surrounded so tightly. The evil look in his eyes meant that it would be over soon.

"Aren't you going to the bar? I'll wait for you there first?" Without giving him a chance to react, he ran away on his skateboard.

Leng Gongyi looked at the fleeing figure with the corner of his mouth raised, a hint of tenderness flashing in his eyes.
