The young novice monk from Jinshan Temple looked at the sedan chair and trotted towards it:
"The deacon monk of Jinshan Temple has met the old lady."
"reward!"
A warm voice came from the sedan, and he immediately got off the sedan. The maid stepped forward to support him. A plainly dressed old lady slowly got out of the sedan, looked around, and walked slowly towards the temple.
When the servant next to him heard the old lady's voice, he took out a handful of banknotes and handed them over:
"This is what the old lady rewards you, take it."
The little novice monks filled the sky with smiles, like peach blossoms in full bloom, nodding and bowing:
"Thank you, madam, for the reward."
"Abbott, the mother of Mr. Wang, the prefect of Hangzhou, has come to offer incense."
A young monk quickly ran into the main hall, walked to the side of the old monk Wuneng, lowered his head and whispered:
"The old lady has arrived at the temple gate."
"Arrived already?"
Wu Neng was calm and stood up slowly, facing the monks:
"All the monks will follow me to meet the old lady of the Hangzhou magistrate. Remember not to neglect."
"Yes, Abbot."
All the monks stood up from the futon, formed a team, and followed Zen Master Wu Neng towards the entrance of Jinshan Temple.
"The saintly monk welcomes you from afar, but I feel ashamed to be worthy of it."
After seeing Wu Neng, the old lady took a few steps quickly and came over:
"The holy monk has a high moral character and has long been out of the Four Symbols and Five Elements. How can he dare to come here without being afraid?"
"The old lady is busy practicing in Gongmen. Every move she makes leads the luck of countless people in Hangzhou. She is born to be a giant Buddha."
Wu Neng smiled:
"Being able to welcome the Buddha into the temple is a great merit, and I, the old monk, feel honored to do so."
"The Holy Monk is overrated. I am just an ordinary person among the sands of the Ganges River. I believe in all Buddhas wholeheartedly. I hope that the Holy Monk will be merciful and allow me to see the Holy Lotus descending from the sky."
The old lady put her hands together and bowed to Zen Master Wu Neng:
"In this way, even if I go west now, I will still be able to smile."
"The white lotus descends from the sky to save the destined people. Whether they are destined or not, the old monk dare not say."
Zen Master Wu Neng hurriedly returned the salute:
"Please put me in the guest room and rest, and then we'll see if we have a chance."
He said this, but he was very uneasy in his heart. Others didn't know what happened to the so-called White Lotus's ascension, but Zen Master Wu Neng's heart was as clear as a mirror. There was nothing unclear about it.
The so-called White Lotus Ascension means that fairies eat humans.
The old lady is the mother of the magistrate of Hangzhou and has a high position. Once the monster eats the old lady, the magistrate of Hangzhou will be so angry that the entire Jinshan Temple will be destroyed.
"So, thank you to the holy monk."
The old lady bowed slightly, followed by some servants, led by Wu Neng, and came to the guest room to stay. The other servants were taken home by the old lady.
Zhang Yutang hid aside and got out of the way. Seeing the old lady go in, he started walking. Abao beside him was a little unhappy. He looked at the old lady walking forward and said:
"Sir, we were the ones who came first and donated a lot of money for incense. It's really unreasonable for old bald Wu Neng not to welcome us, but to greet such an old lady instead."
"Haha, don't be angry."
Zhang Yutang said calmly:
"The old lady is old enough to be my grandma. As a junior, it is the right thing for me to make way for such an old man. Besides, to have Zen Master Wu Neng, the holy monk of Jinshan Temple, come to personally greet her. I think she is not an ordinary person."
He quietly pinched a Taoist talisman and passed it in front of his eyes. Suddenly, Zhang Yutang saw a piece of golden cloud floating three feet above the old lady's head. The cloud changed like an umbrella, and the umbrella covered with rays of light.
The threads hold infinite majesty.
"Such a person is extremely majestic, but does not have an official seal attached to him. It seems that his power must be concentrated. Such power comes from others. In this way, the old lady is probably the mother or relative of a high official."
Passing by the old lady, I looked towards the Jinshan Temple. In some places, a Buddhist aura enveloped me, and the light soared into the sky. There was a vague appearance of the Holy Buddha here, receiving the incense from all living beings.
"It is worthy of being a famous temple, with incense steaming and the holy Buddha appearing."
He glanced away again, but Muzi condensed:
"How is this possible?"
Behind the Jinshan Temple, a bloody light reaches the sky, like a pillar of heaven, running straight through the sky. Around the bloody light, countless wronged souls are crying.
The powerful bloody light was overwhelming and surging, suppressing all the Buddhist energy, making Jinshan Temple look as strange as a demonic realm.
"White lotus descended from the sky, white lotus descended from the sky, this is nonsense, this is not a white lotus descended from the sky at all."
A sneer appeared at the corner of Zhang Yutang's mouth:
"If my guess is correct, this is basically a demon descended from heaven, spitting out white lotus flowers, to harm all living beings."
"Such a monster is hiding in Jinshan Temple. How could old monk Wu Neng not know it? It is possible that humans and monsters work together. One person collects incense and the other monster eats blood. They complement each other and do not interfere with each other."
"If this is really the case, the old monk Wu Neng deserves death. He will be in the Avici Hell and will never be reborn."
Looking at the countless devout believers in Jinshan Temple, smiling and respectfully paying respect to the Buddhas one by one, Zhang Yutang suddenly had a very ridiculous thought in his heart:
"The gods and Buddhas worshiped by the world do not care about the life and death of all living beings. However, the people of the world still remain obsessed with worshiping them wholeheartedly, hoping that one day the gods and Buddhas will take pity on them and respond to their thoughts."
"Such people are really pitiful and deplorable. They have lived their entire lives without knowing how to be brave and diligent and strive for self-improvement. They rely on the mercy of gods and Buddhas for everything. In the end, being able to die in such ignorance may also be a kind of happiness for them.
Bar."
Following the flow of people, Zhang Yutang walked step by step towards the Main Hall. In the Main Hall, a group of monks sat upright, unable to be blown by the eight winds, reciting the great virtue classics. The sound was like drums at dusk and bells in the morning, which was thought-provoking.
And Zen Master Wu Neng stood out, sitting at the head of the monks, banging wooden fish, rubbing rosary beads, and chanting the Great Compassionate and Great Compassionate Guanyin Mantra. It is said that through the power of Guanyin, the light can be amplified.
Zhang Yutang's eyes flashed with divine light, and he saw that in the main hall, the power of thought was gathered, it was sacred and solemn, and it was difficult for evil spirits to invade. There was no evil at all on the body of Zen Master Wu Neng.
"There is no evil at all. Could it be that I wrongly blamed Zen Master Wu Neng? He has nothing to do with the heaven-reaching blood energy at all."
While the monks were reciting the Dade Sutra, Zen Master Wu Neng suddenly struck the wooden fish in his hand and shouted loudly:
"Ask the Bodhisattva why he sits upside down. He hates the world and refuses to look back. The sea of suffering is boundless and he will never turn back. That's good, that's good."
"Today's homework is over. Let's all leave."
The monks stood up, bowed slightly to Zen Master Wu Neng who was still sitting upright, and responded loudly:
"Yes, Abbot."
After paying homage, they exited the Mahavira Hall one after another, and some pilgrims gathered around to worship the Buddhas and meet the holy monks.
But Zen Master Wu Neng turned a blind eye to these people, ran directly to Zhang Yutang, and said with a smile:
"Little benefactor, I have been waiting for you for a long time. Yesterday, the Buddha told me in a dream that there was a reincarnated Arhat who was coming to Jinshan Temple to ascend to heaven and return to his throne with the help of white lotus."
"Hahaha----"
Zhang Yutang laughed wildly in his heart:
"Could this old monk think that I am young and easy to deceive, so he used this rhetoric on me? If I were really a weak eight-year-old boy, I might actually be fooled by you."
