[109] Deal with Anubis

"We know each other. We met several times in the small town of Tonimu where we live."

"Oh?" Anubis' eyes quickly flashed with a hint of coldness.

"The Lord God is really brave, and he openly entered the territory of Egypt."

Zaler smiled, his skinny face showing a hint of sleepiness and exhaustion. It seemed that excessive blood loss had made his already skinny body even weaker.

"Ahem...King Anubis, what if I say that I am a citizen of Egypt?" He said with an extremely serious tone.

Anubis's eyes darkened. He walked to sit opposite Zahle and looked at Zahle with a sinister expression.

"Since you are a subject of Egypt, but you help the enemy country to fight against your own country, what is the use of people like you?"

Tuvia saw the murderous intent in Anubis's eyes, and she was heartbroken.

"You can't kill him. Don't forget that you have handed him over to me. You, the majestic King of Egypt, don't keep your word, right?"

Anubis sneered, he lowered his head and played with the amber ring in his hand. Tuvia's eyes slowly darkened.

She knew that this meant that he was really angry.

"Tuvia, don't forget that what this king promised you is only between the two of us, and he..."

He suddenly raised his head and looked at Zaler. "It is no longer within the scope of our transactions. As a citizen of Egypt, he has done such a thing as surrendering to the enemy and betraying his country. If I don't kill him, it will not be enough to calm the morale of the army."

Tuvia stood in front of Zaler. "To kill him, you have to step over my Tuvia's body."

Anubis' eyes had turned from dark green to dark ink. His fierce eyes flashed past.

Then the words that came out of his mouth were extremely cold, "Don't challenge my limits, otherwise you won't have any good results."

Tuvia was born with a sneer. She seemed to have completely guessed how quickly Anubis would turn his back on him.

A man like him could be very affectionate with you last night, but today he can make you walk on thin ice with your life hanging by a thread.

You really can't have any feelings for a man like him.

Tuvia raised her chin high and looked at him with cold eyes, "I happily accept your punishment, and this person must follow me. He lives and I live. He dies and I die."

After hearing Tuvia's provocation, Anubis held his hands tightly, but the crunching sound of bones kept coming.

Zaler could see clearly, and there was clarity in his eyes. Anubis looked at Tuvia... No! It should be that Tuvia's eyes were very unusual.

That is the look a man should have when looking at his woman...

So, Zahler suddenly realized that Tuvia was a girl.

"Tuvel, you don't have to worry about me." Zahler said calmly.

Then he raised his head and looked at Anubis opposite, "The king is right, I am a sinner in Egypt, and even death cannot free me from my sins."

"Shut up. If I say I want to protect you, you will never die." She coldly interrupted Zahler's continued words.

Anubis stood up. He walked up to Tuvia, his eyes so dark that he couldn't see what was hidden inside.

"Tuvia, you have repeatedly challenged my endurance. That's good. I will never let you go this time. Since you are willing to protect him, we will make a deal."

Tuvia slowly calmed down, her heart racing.

"What deal?"

Anubis snorted coldly, "I know exactly what you are looking for these days. If I let him go, you will marry me and be my woman willingly."

Tuvia frowned, feeling that he was taking advantage of the situation, but now, with her current ability, it seemed impossible to leave with Zahle and Nut alive.

"Okay, I promise you." Tuvia agreed readily.

Anubis looked at her deeply, his eyes full of light, "I'll give you a month. Then come to Memphis to find me. Don't make me wait too long for a woman. I'm very impatient."

Tuvia was silent for a while, as if thinking about something, and then her eyes brightened. She smiled slightly.

"See you in Memphis in a month."

Anubis no longer looked at her, turned his back to Tuvia and Zaler, "Take him out of here immediately, don't let me have a chance to regret."

Tuvia winked at Nut, and he immediately ran to Zaler's side with understanding, helped him up and walked out of the tent.

Before leaving, Tuvia looked at the tall figure and said, "Thank you."

Anubis did not answer her. Tuvia stopped looking at him, turned and walked out.

If Anubis uses strong force, Zahle will not only die, but she will not be able to escape from this man's grasp.

So she knew in her heart that he was giving her a chance, not forcing her, but making her willing to agree to the conditions he proposed.

…………………………

After the three people left the Egyptian camp, they headed towards the city of Thebes.

Tuvia considered Zahle's injury, and after arriving in Thebes, she found a local doctor to help him re-treat the wound, and then continued on her way after a day's rest.

On the fourth day, the three of them finally rushed back to the small town of Tonimu, covered in dust.

They walked into the small rented courtyard, and Tuvia thought Jungster would run out happily, then hug her excitedly and ask endless questions.

But the expected plot did not appear. Tuvia glanced around and saw that the table under the date palm tree on the right side of the yard was covered with dust. The door of the house was locked.

Nut saw Tuvia's thoughts. He shouted toward the door, "Sister Jungster."

Since Nut took his revenge, he has been much more cheerful than before, but if Jungster hears this call,

She will definitely knock her chin off.

"Sister Jungster..." Nut shouted loudly, but there was still no sound in the room.

"Nut, there's no need to shout, she won't."

Tuvia's face was emotionless, and she didn't seem to care much about Jungster's disappearance.

"Open the door. If I guessed correctly, she must have put the key in the crack of the door when she left." Tuvia ordered Nut.

Because she understands Jungster's habits.

"Yes." Nut immediately went to the door of the house to look for the keys. According to Tuvia's words, he found a bunch of keys in a plywood at the crack of the door.

"Found it." Nut turned around and shook the keys in his hand at Tuvia, then turned around and opened them.

"Since everyone is back, I'd better go home and have a look." Zaler said looking at Tuvia.

"Wait a minute, I have something to discuss with you." Then she helped Zahle into the house without waiting for his consent.

The house was filled with dust, and it seemed that no one had lived there for a long time. Tuvia looked at the surroundings and frowned.

It seems that Jungster left here shortly after they left. Where did she go?

Tuvia sneered, she had been waiting for her mysterious maid to reveal her identity. But she seemed to have no such intention.
