Chapter 1429 Two nuns

Life is so wonderful. If it weren’t for the big fat fish that Bingluan brought back, Yun Qiyou would not have come to the river.

If it weren't for Yun Qiyou's poor cooking skills, he wouldn't have changed from sashimi to grilled fish.

If it weren't for the fact that the grilled fish was too fishy and unpalatable, Yun Qiyou wouldn't be around to wash up.

If I didn't wash up, I wouldn't be squatting on that smooth stone.

If you hadn't squatted on that stone, you wouldn't have accidentally discovered that there was a word "cause" on the stone.

You will not find the text above.

If the first one may be a coincidence, then if all of them are accumulated, it is fate.

Who would have thought that it would be a big fat fish that revealed the past that had been sealed for thousands of years?

Those four sentences, or rather four poems, are deeply carved on the rock. Despite the erosion of wind, rain, and river erosion, their traces have not been completely erased for thousands of years.

After three lives, who will ask about the cause? In seven lives, we will linger and weep about ghosts and gods.

When fate is over, I still find my way to the spring, and when my soul returns, I still see the person in my dream.

What a lingering poem, what a poignant love, as if I saw a pair of lovers loving each other with my own eyes, and here they made a promise for three lives and seven lifetimes.

Yun Qiyou's expression gradually became painful. The words on the stone should have been left by Monk Lu Jiao.

Perhaps Monk Lujiao sat cross-legged on this rock by the river to meditate on Buddhism.

It is true that the flowers planted with intention do not bloom, but the willows planted with no intention of creating shade.

She came to Wutai Mountain to find a way to heal her seven-orificed exquisite heart, but unexpectedly she discovered the words left by Monk Lu Jiao, which once again brought the legend of Seven Generations of Enemies into her sight.

Destinations arise from the past life, ends in this life, and linger in the next life.

These four lines of poetry seem to correspond to the Third Generation Buddhist Hall of Qingliang Temple in the front mountain of Ye Doufeng.

Three lives of love come from three lives of fate, and three lives are written on the stone of three lives.

Love in this world is destined to be fulfilled within three lifetimes.

Love in this world is destined to last for seven lifetimes.

This may be the origin of the story of Three Lives and Seven Lives of Enmity.

Unfortunately, apart from these twenty-eight words, there is no other writing on the stone wall.

When Yun Qiyou stood up, a low bell suddenly sounded in his ears.

Boom...

Boom...

Boom...

This sound is so common in Wutai Mountain that Yun Qiyou can hear the bells ringing from time to time many times every day.

It's just that the sound of this bell, perhaps because of the age of the bell, or perhaps because of the large number of impurities in the bell, does not carry the sound far. It is far inferior to the bell of Hanshan Temple. It can be heard clearly across a large river.

Clearly.

Yun Qiyou looked in the direction where the bell was coming from, and saw from a distance a dilapidated ancient temple seven or eight miles downstream of the river. The bell seemed to be coming from that ancient temple.

Ancient temples are quite common in Mount Wutai.

Mount Wutai is the holy land of Buddhism on earth. It is no lie. There are hundreds of temples and monasteries in this small mountain range. Temples and nunneries can be seen everywhere on almost every mountain peak and earthen parcel.

However, the mountain behind Ye Doufeng is the forbidden area of Qingliang Temple. Yun Qiyou didn't expect that there is an ancient temple not far from here. It seems that the scale is not big, less than one-tenth the size of Qingliang Temple in the front mountain.

The location of that ancient temple is quite special. It seems that you can see the entire back mountain of Ye Doufeng. It is not known who built it and when.

Yun Qiyou didn't know why. He looked at the ancient temple in the distance and the words on the rocks at his feet, and he always felt that something was wrong.

After sitting in meditation under the bodhi tree for many days, the two masters Wugui and Wufear have never appeared again, and Yun Qiyou still has no clue about the Buddhist Tantra method that may cure him.

There was already some despair in my heart.

She stood there for a while, then walked towards the ancient temple not far away.

Arriving in front of the ancient temple, she found that the ancient temple in front of her was even more dilapidated and narrower than she had previously expected.

Most of the houses have collapsed, leaving only some ruins. Only some stone houses made of rocks are still suffering from erosion in the years.

From the dilapidated plaque in front of the mountain gate, Yun Qiyou learned that this ancient temple was a nunnery with an interesting name.

It's called Shuiyue An.

Thinking about it, the name of Shuiyuean is quite appropriate. There is a river winding past at your feet, like a crescent-shaped waterway. It is suitable to be symmetrical with water and moon.

Yun Qiyou walked into Shuiyue Nunnery. He guessed right now that there were only a few nuns in the entire nunnery.

Two to be exact.

An old nun and a young nun.

She is so old that even sixty years old is not enough to describe her age. Her skin is like the bark of a thousand-year-old tree, layered and very rough.

The little nun is too young. She looks only 18 or 19 years old. It seems that she has not yet shaved. Her black hair can be faintly seen under the monk's hat. There is also a big seashell hanging on the little nun's waist. It looks like

She loved hearing the sound of sea waves in Seaberry.

The old nun and the young nun were both wearing gray-white monk robes and hats. The old nun was sitting cross-legged in a stone pavilion, gently turning a string of crystal clear jade rosary beads in her hand.

Perhaps because he had been with Ye Xiaochuan for a long time, he was also tainted with the smell of copper. Seeing the rosary, Yun Qiyou subconsciously estimated the price in his heart. He couldn't get it for less than one hundred thousand taels. He thought to himself

This little shabby nunnery is really rich.

As for the little nun, she was slowly hitting a big bronze bell in the stone pavilion with a wooden stick at the moment. The bell that Yun Qiyou heard was coming from this broken bell.

Seeing Yun Qiyou, a secular person, coming uninvited, the old nun was still praying to the Buddha with her eyes closed. Only the little nun, who seemed to have not been practicing Buddhism for a long time and whose Buddha heart was not strong, showed a smile to Yun Qiyou.

Her smile and two rows of white teeth are like the white snow in the sky.

Yun Qiyou gave a slight salute to the old nun and said, "Junior, I have taken the liberty of visiting you. Please don't take offense, Master Tai."

The old nun still didn't open her eyes and said hoarsely: "Donor Yun, there is no need to be polite."

Yun Qiyou was stunned and said, "Master, do you know me?"

The old nun said: "I don't know him."

Yun Qiyou said: "Then why does Master Tai know my name?"

The old nun slowly opened her eyes at this time, looked at Yun Qiyou for a few times, and said, "My fate has already been determined, so why bother asking?"

Yun Qiyou was puzzled.

This is the reason why she is reluctant to deal with Buddhist people. Her words are always ambiguous and unpredictable.

When I was a child, I heard the story of One-finger Zen from Master. It was said that there was such an old monk, whose name was Tianlong. When others talked to him or discussed Buddhist principles, he would always smile and say nothing, and would hold out one finger for others to guess.

.Who can guess what he wants to express from just one finger?

Master Wuhui is like this, Master Wuwei is like this, and the old nun is like this now. Seeing Yun Qiyou's face showing doubts, the old nun sighed, clasped his hands together, and said: "Amitabha. Kuang Yue Ming, Lu Ten Years, Zhou Xuance,

Guang Guoyu, Qi Dake, Liang Yin, Bai Wenshan, Dugu Qin, Situ Feng, Su Qinglian. Since Donor Yun can find this place, the names of these people must be Shi

The Lord must have heard about it, right?" Yun Qiyou had no clue at first, but when the fifth name Qi Dake appeared, her expression immediately changed.
