Chapter 3044 The sword points to the sky

There are four popular schools of thought in the world: Taoism, Demonism, Buddhism, and Confucianism.

These four schools of thought have different understandings of heaven and sentient beings.

It is precisely because of these differences that various schools of thought have different views and beliefs, and they have been fighting endlessly for thousands of years.

Regarding the explanation of the sky, there is such a passage in Chapter 5 of the Taoist classic "Tao Te Ching".

Heaven and earth are unkind and regard all things as stupid dogs.

The meaning of this passage may be understood differently by different viewers.

The common understanding is that God is not kind and treats all things as lifeless sacrificial tribute.

This is an explanation, but it is biased because there is another sentence after this sentence.

The sage is unkind and treats the common people as stupid dogs.

By connecting the two sentences before and after, you can see that the previous explanation is not accurate.

People in the Taoist sect interpret these two passages as: The sky is fair, and in its eyes, all humans, animals, and plants are all the same.

This explanation is also one of the most widely circulated versions in the world.

Confucianism emphasizes the unity of heaven and man, respects heaven, advocates the way of nature, advocates morality, benevolence and righteousness, loyalty, filial piety, trust and brotherhood, and is the king of heaven and earth.

In the Confucian classic "The Doctrine of the Mean", there is such an explanation of the relationship between heaven, saints and all living beings.

“A sage walks the way of heaven. He is as good as water and conforms to morality. His thoughts and actions are sincere to the way. He will not be unethical, let alone unkind.

If heaven and earth are not benevolent, then heaven and earth will have no way and no virtue. If heaven has no way and no virtue, then all things will have no life.

Therefore, the heaven and the earth will not regard all things as weak dogs, and the sage will not regard the people as weak dogs. He will only regard the hearts of the people as his heart. If he wants to understand the Tao, he must first be virtuous. If he wants to be virtuous, he must first practice and think about perfection and sincerity."

The teachings of Buddhism and Demonism are mostly that all living beings are equal and their destiny is determined by themselves.

It is recorded in the Buddhist "Diamond Sutra": "All sentient beings, whether born from an egg, born from a womb, born from moisture, born from transformation, have color, if colorless, have a form, if have no form, if not have a form, are not nothing.

Mutually.

I will lead them all to nirvana and bring them to annihilation.

In this way, countless and boundless sentient beings can be annihilated. Why is it that no sentient beings can be annihilated?

Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva has the appearance of a self, a person, a sentient being, or a person of longevity, then he is not a Bodhisattva."

There is this passage in the teachings of the Demon Sect: "Burn my broken body in a raging fire. How joyful is life, and how painful is death. To eliminate evil for good, there is only light. Have pity on me, the world, and there are many sorrows. Have pity on me, the world, there are many sorrows.

"More." (from Jin Yong's Legend of Heaven and Slaying the Dragon)

This is the fundamental teachings of Taoism, Demonism, Buddhism, and Confucianism, and it is also the different understandings of heaven, saints, and sentient beings.

In fact, it can be seen that the Taoist interpretation of the sky is actually the broadest. The sentence "Heaven and Earth are unkind and treat all things as stupid dogs" covers everything.

Although Ye Xiaochuan comes from the Cangyun Sect of Taoism, he has not agreed with the Taoist interpretation of these two sentences since he was a child.

He has his own understanding of these two passages.

That is: Benevolence cannot be found in heaven and earth, because all things have become dogs made of soulless grass, shaped like a body. Saints cannot find benevolence, because the common people have become soulless grass.

adult dog.

In Ye Xiaochuan's view, the soul is the foundation for the survival of all living beings. It does not only refer to human beings, but refers to all living beings in general.

In other words, the soul is life, and life is not in the hands of heaven or saints, but in the hands of every living being.

Ye Xiaochuan's understanding of these two passages is actually closer to the understanding of Buddhism and Demonism. Perhaps because of the seven generations of enemies, or perhaps because of the catastrophe in the world, Ye Xiaochuan has been very dissatisfied with heaven since he was a teenager.

Satisfied, if the heaven is really as great as what is said in the Tao Te Ching, the world will not be

There were countless casualties.

Ye Xiaochuan still prefers his own destiny, which is in his own control. Heaven cannot interfere with the destiny of others, so Ye Xiaochuan has no hesitation and embarks on the road of defying heaven and changing his destiny.

People in the world say that some people are in awe of the sky and some are cursed by it, but how many people in the world have seen the sky? And how many people have had face-to-face communication with the sky?

Now the sky is in front of Ye Xiaochuan and others.

You can't see it, but you can hear its voice and feel its presence.

Ye Xiaochuan is not in awe of the sky, but the sky in front of him. Maybe there really is a Lord of God in the universe who can control everything, but this Lord of God definitely cannot be the father of that monster Hua Wuyou, who now rules the three realms

The sky is actually a non-human life form, not a legend

gods in.

Not to mention the classic Taoist saying that Heaven is unkind and regards all things as the Heaven among the rotten dogs.

Heaven will never allow Nangong Bat or Yun Qiyou to die in the Wood God's tomb. It must prove to the heaven-defying ones headed by the evil god that it is the supreme being of the three realms who controls and dominates everything.

If one of the two moons is killed in the tomb of the Wood God, how will the curse of the seven-generation grudge continue?

So, it appeared.

The sky protects Yun Qiyou today, and also protects Nangong Bat. He strives to show that he is equal and impartial.

But is it really fair? Is it selfless?

If there was no selfishness? How could the Shushan Sword Sect be destroyed thousands of years ago?

If it was fair, how could he secretly help Yang Fengxian reincarnate for three lives and turn into a peerless and resentful woman?

Nangong Bat knelt on the ground devoutly, and Ye Bixin also knelt on the ground.

But Ye Xiaochuan, Yun Qiyou, and Nu'e stood upright and had no intention of kneeling down to worship the sky.

Ye Xiaochuan slowly raised his head and looked at the colorful lights that faded and appeared in the tomb of the God of Wood.

He said hoarsely and lowly: "Heaven, others respect you, but I, Ye Xiaochuan, don't respect you. What a bullshit seventh-generation grudge, what a bullshit eighth-life reincarnation. Huh, if you want to control my destiny, I will go against the will of heaven."

, fight for yourself!”

Suddenly, he slowly raised the bladeless sword in his hand and pointed it at the dome of the underground palace at a 45-degree angle.

Driven by true power, the sword without edge emits a dazzling dark green light.

Seeing this, Yun Qiyou and Nu'e also raised the Chen-Zhan Divine Sword and Cunmang Divine Dagger in their hands.

The three of them stood with their backs to each other, facing three directions, their swords pointed at the sky.

They were using the magic weapons in their hands to swear to the sky that they would decide their own destiny and would never surrender to the sky. The majestic voice of the sky sounded again: "From the moment the universe was born, destiny has been determined by heaven.

Everything in the universe, from the vast oceans to mulberry fields, the changes of stars, to the lives of ants, and the growth of grass and trees, are all under the control of heaven. You weak humans always overestimate your capabilities. Mu Ziqi is like this,

Yao Xiaosi is like this, and so is Yun Xiaoxie. They all want to defy heaven, but who succeeds? This chess game between me, Mu Ziqi, and Yun Xiaoxie has reached its final stage, and the fate of the three of you is entangled.

The outcome of the three lives and seven lives has already been determined by God. If you don’t believe it, just wait and see.”
