Chapter 4973 Crack

Countless eminent monks in Kasyapa Temple have been unable to see through the secret of Wuzi Cliff for hundreds of years. We cannot call those eminent monks stupid.

Ye Xiaochuan saw through the secret of Wuzi Cliff within a few hours, and it can't be said how smart Ye Xiaochuan is.

The direction of the research was wrong, dooming both of them.

The words left by Fairy Jinghai back then are both right and wrong.

She said that her Buddhist practice was inherited from Wuzi Cliff. There is really nothing to criticize about this statement.

After all, Wuzi Cliff does not just refer to the smooth cliff, but the entire cliff including the waterfall and the giant Buddha stone sculpture.

But this sentence had a narrower interpretation in the minds of the monks at Kasyapa Temple.

Their first impression was that the wordless cliff mentioned by Fairy Jinghai was the wordless cliff.

First of all, the ancient Buddhist teachings must have been passed down through writing, and only the tall cliffs could have written words engraved on them.

Secondly, after receiving the power of Buddha, Wuzi Cliff will emit golden Buddha light, and the verse of the Sixth Patriarch Huineng will appear.

Anyone who takes a look at this will conclude that the secret of Buddhism must be carved on the cliff, but it was hidden by the ancient powerful people using particularly powerful means.

This caused the monks of Kasyapa Temple to fall into a misunderstanding that lasted for nearly 800 years.

Ye Xiaochuan is different. His thinking logic is very close to that of the evil god back then.

After he learned that the Bodhisattva was left by the evil god and that the secret here was also left by the evil god, he concluded that the monks in Kasyapa Temple must have fallen into the misunderstanding spread by the evil god for hundreds of years.

The Bodhi verse is the most famous verse in Buddhism. Anyone who sees this verse will understand the Zen principles contained in it.

Over the years, Kasyapa Temple has always felt that this is a verse left by the Sixth Patriarch Huineng, and they even got the original direction wrong.

After Ye Xiaochuan determined that the secret was not on the wordless cliff, he began to think in reverse.

Since it is not on Wuzi Cliff, the only thing that is most likely to contain secrets here is the statue of the Buddha.

So Ye Xiaochuan succeeded.

But making sure the secret is not on the cliff but on the Buddha is only half the battle.

The other half is also important.

That is the lotus throne.

For hundreds of years, the monks of Kasyapa Temple have set their sights on the Wordless Cliff. Even if someone is interested in the Buddha, it is difficult to be attracted by the lotus throne.

Ye Xiaochuan has always been curious about the stone sculpture of the Giant Buddha.

Half of the stone-carved Buddhas are statues of Tathagata Buddha sitting on a lotus, and there is rarely a single giant Buddha carved with a flower-carrying Buddha.

Only then did Ye Xiaochuan think that in the allusion recorded in the Buddhist scriptures in which the Buddha held flowers as a gesture and the Venerable Kassapa smiled and achieved enlightenment, the real protagonist was the Venerable Kassapa, and the Buddha was only a supporting role here.

After thinking about this, when you look at the lotus platform, it doesn't look so dazzling anymore.

Because, in the classics, that position is exactly where the Venerable Kassapa was when the Buddha preached at Lingshan.

Under normal circumstances, Buddhist disciples would have unlocked the secrets here long ago.

However, the evil god is very good at playing tricks on people. He must have moved the stone sculpture of Lord Kasyapa from the lotus throne to the cave behind the waterfall.

This has confused the world for tens of thousands of years.

During this period, there was only Fairy Jinghai, Lu Qinghe. I don’t know whether it was a coincidence or Fairy Jinghai who understood the clues left by the evil god and unlocked the secrets here.

Master Kongyuan and Monk Jiekong carried the Buddha statue of Lord Kasyapa and slowly lowered it to the ground.

The Buddha statue of Kassapa is easy to identify. His figure represents a big head, big earlobes, protruding cheekbones, and an obvious smile at the corner of his mouth.

Without Ye Xiaochuan's guidance, Monk Jiekong placed the stone sculpture of Lord Kasyapa on the lotus throne facing the statue of the Buddha.

However, there was no change in the lotus throne, and no mechanism could be seen.

Just when everyone was suspicious, Ye Xiaochuan suddenly said: "Face the Buddha statue of Venerable Kassapa to the west."

Facing west?

That is with your back facing the stone sculpture of the Buddha.

But Ye Xiaochuan's very determined tone made Jiekong pick up the stone sculpture of Lord Kassapa again without any hesitation and move it to its position again.

When Venerable Kassapa faced the west, suddenly, everyone clearly heard a slight strange noise coming from the Lotus Throne.

Jiekong immediately jumped off the lotus throne, and everyone watched attentively.

I saw the lotus sculpture on the lotus throne, as if it came to life and was slowly opening, like a lotus that had broken free from its buds and was slowly blooming.

When the lotus petals opened, a faint Buddhist golden light emitted from the bottom of the lotus throne.

Everyone was overjoyed! Eight hundred years have passed! The secret here has finally reappeared in the world! Xuan Ying glanced at Ye Xiaochuan and said: "What did you see on the head of the Buddha just now?

How did you know to turn the stone statue of Kassapa with its back to the Buddha and face the west?"

Ye Xiaochuan smiled mysteriously and said: "Buddha said, it cannot be said, it cannot be said!"

This is really not something that can be explained clearly in just one or two sentences. Now Ye Xiaochuan is eager to know what kind of books the evil god left behind in Wuzi Cliff, so he has no time to explain his famous detective reasoning to Xuan Ying.

The golden Buddha light enveloped the stone sculpture of Lord Kasyapa. Everyone waited for a while, but there was only golden light and no books.

Everyone looked at Ye Xiaochuan.

At this moment, these big guys have regarded Ye Xiaochuan as the reincarnation of Buddha, and they will look to this boy whenever they encounter any problems.

Ye Xiaochuan calmly walked to the lotus throne and stretched out his hand to touch the lotus throne.

Said: "Turn the lotus platform so that Venerable Kasyapa faces the stone sculpture of Buddha."

Jie Kong immediately stepped forward, and three old monks, Xuan Nan, Xuan Ji, and Xuan Ku, actually rolled up their sleeves and stepped forward to help.

The most important thing in Buddhism is greed, anger and ignorance. Although these three old monks have boundless Buddhism, they still have an obsession with the secrets here.

Perhaps it is precisely because of this that they are unable to comprehend the highest realm of Buddhism.

The lotus platform can indeed rotate, but it requires a lot of force to push it.

It seems that there is some kind of mechanism connected under the lotus platform.

As the lotus platform was pushed forward, the surrounding mountains suddenly trembled slightly.

Everyone knew that the secret was right in front of them, and they were extremely surprised.

Ye Xiaochuan immediately turned to look at the Buddha and said: "Keep pushing!"

When the lotus platform rotated 180 degrees and Venerable Kasyapa faced the stone sculpture of the East Buddha, a dull sound came from the direction of the East Buddha stone sculpture.

Everyone looked up and saw that the statue of the Buddha that was originally on the inside of the stone wall suddenly started to move slowly.

Of course, this is not the appearance of Buddha, but the turning of the lotus throne, opening a mechanism that has been dusty for many years.

The stone sculpture of the Giant Buddha actually separated from the stone wall and slowly extended forward a few feet. Immediately, the entire Giant Buddha was slowly rotating in a clockwise direction.
