Chapter 826 The Sixth Life Before

Chapter 826 The first six lives

With just one glance, Ye Xiaochuan felt that the two small statues were him and Yun Qiyou. The two statues were tightly next to each other, as if they were destined to do so.

Looking up, when he saw the two statues above the two small statues, Ye Xiaochuan couldn't help but take a breath of air.

A handsome but unruly man. A round-faced girl with soft eyes.

Isn't this the appearance of Situ Feng and Su Qinglian that I saw back then?

Looking further up, on top of the two statues that look very much like Su Qinglian and Situ Feng, there are several pairs of statues of men and women together. After careful counting, there are seven pairs of small statues in front of them.

Ye Xiaochuan has never seen the previous masters of Wu Feng and Zhan Chen, but he has seen Situ Feng and Su Qinglian. The current appearances of himself, Yun Qiyou, and Situ Feng and Su Qinglian are all here.

His intuition told him that these seven pairs of stone statues represented seven generations of enemies!

Ye Xiaochuan's body suddenly began to tremble slightly, and Yun Qiyou's palm beside her also tightly grasped Zhan Chen's scabbard. Perhaps due to too much force, the veins on the back of her white hand rose up, which was very scary.

After a while, Yun Qiyou said word by word: "You also see it?"

Ye Xiaochuan came back to his senses and murmured: "How is it possible? These two statues look very much like you and me. The two figures above are very similar to Situ Feng and Su Qinglian. The ones above are very similar.

There are also five pairs of stone carvings, which are probably what the two swords looked like in the five previous lives. Are there really gods in Buddhism? It can't be such a coincidence!"

Yun Qiyou was shocked. She just felt that the two small stone sculptures on the stone wall in front of her were very similar to her and Ye Xiaochuan. She had never seen Situ Feng and Su Qinglian, so she didn't know about the two small stone sculptures further up.

It's very similar to the Sixth Life of Two Swords.

A strong feeling of powerlessness came over, making Yun Qiyou instantly feel so tired.

Just at this time, Monk Jiekong came from behind and took a look at the stone carvings on the stone wall. Jiekong said: "Donor Ye, Donor Yun, did you find anything?"

Arriving just in time, Ye Xiaochuan dragged Jiekong, pointed at the seven pairs of fourteen small stone sculptures on the stone wall in front of him, and said, "Senior Brother Jiekong, who carved these statues?"

Jiekong smiled slightly and said: "There are a total of 870 living beings on this stone wall. When Tian Chanzi, the founder of our sect, traveled to Mount Wutai, he found a seriously damaged stone sculpture in the back mountain of Mount Wutai. Passing by

After several years of restoration, the founder only restored 870 statues, so he copied them, and then re-carved them based on the copied pictures. They are the earliest stone sculptures among the three thousand living beings."

Having said this, Jiekong suddenly glanced at Ye Xiaochuan and Yun Qiyou with a vague look, and continued: "According to what the founder said, the seven pairs of fourteen stone sculptures mentioned by the two donors were discovered in Wutai Mountain.

, there is a piece of text engraved on the side of it that I don’t know what year it was.”

Ye Xiaochuan and Yun Qiyou said at the same time: "What words?"

Jiekong slowly shook his head and said: "This little monk doesn't know. The founder only re-carved the stone carvings from Wutai Mountain here, but did not carve the words on the stone wall together. Maybe the little monk's master knows something about it."

,Why, the two donors seem to be very interested in this?"

This is asking knowingly. As long as you are not blind, you can see that the two small stone sculptures are very similar to Ye Xiaochuan and Yun Qiyou, and they are right next to each other. This is definitely not a coincidence.

This kind of carvings on the faces of living beings and the appearances of all living beings is very common in Buddhist temples. Ye Xiaochuan and Bailiyuan saw similar ones in Jishi'an ten years ago. However, Jishi'an is a small nunnery after all, with only 500 faces of living beings.

Far inferior to the more than 3,000 statues of living beings of various shapes in Kasyapa Temple.

The reason why Buddhism uses this method to express the differences of all living beings is mainly because there is a very famous Zen saying in the Buddhist scriptures.

There is no sign of self, no sign of no one, no sign of living beings, and no sign of life-span.

This is the highest state of Buddha.

These Buddhist disciples believe that their realm is not as good as that of Buddha and they are still among all living beings, so they humbly made such sculptures of the appearances of living beings.

It also has the meaning of three lives, seven lives, and six reincarnations in Buddhist Zen language.

Of course, there are also suspicions of believers cheating money. If a believer finds a stone sculpture that looks very similar to himself among the images of living beings, he will believe that it must be what he looked like in his previous life, even if he doesn't want to pay for sesame oil.

A group of people played in the Grotto of All Living Beings for half an hour. Jie Kong was right when he said that the three thousand appearances of all living beings here cover almost everyone’s appearance and characteristics. Everyone can more or less find one or two of these appearances.

Respect a stone sculpture that looks similar to yourself.

Ye Xiaochuan was originally uneasy about this trip to Kasyapa Temple, but unexpectedly he made an unexpected discovery, which seemed to be related to the curse of the two swords. The two asked Jiekong if they could pay a visit to Master Kongyuan.

Kong looked at the time and said, "Master's morning class time is almost over, you can come with me."

Everyone left the Grotto of All Living Beings and continued to walk up the wide mountain climbing stone steps. The higher they went, the higher the rank of the monks they saw seemed to be. From time to time, they could see some old monks in golden cassocks, all of them with solemn treasures.

At first glance, he looks like an eminent Buddhist monk.

At this time, Ye Xiaochuan also discovered the hierarchy in Kasyapa Temple.

The lowest level is the novice novices, who wear gray robes. Many novice novices have hair and are not shaved. There are even many gray monks who look quite young and are not shaved. This should be the lowest level.

I am a monk with low spiritual practice, which means sweeping fallen leaves and wiping Buddha statues.

The real disciples of Kasyapa Temple all wear moon-white monk robes. For example, the clothes on Jie Kong, Jie Xian, Jie Ai, and Jie Se around us are all moon-white.

Then there are the light yellow ones, who should be the elders.

As for the sacred monks Ye Xiaochuan has seen, such as Kong Jian, Kong Wu, and Kong Yuan, they all wear yellow monk robes with bauhinia cassocks outside.

When we arrived outside the Main Hall, it was just the time for morning classes to end. There was no annoying sound of chanting sutras, only the sound of morning bells and evening drums constantly coming from above.

Only when you see the Main Hall can you clearly understand how majestic it is. Facing the east, you can look up and see the tall golden statue of Buddha facing the gate inside. It doesn't look like it is gilded, but it looks like

It is made of pure gold and shines so brightly that it can blind people's eyes when exposed to the sun.

Ye Xiaochuan can only be described in four words.

Rich and wealthy!

The monks who came out of the Main Hall one after another, many of whom had just returned from the Western Regions, naturally knew Ye Xiaochuan and other elite disciples of the Cangyun Sect. When passing by each person, they all clasped their hands and recited Amitabha.

Jiekong said: "My master is inside, please follow me in."
