Chapter 1,370 Qijue Mountain

"Master Qin, why do you think these Buddha images do this?"

"If you ask the Buddha, the Buddha will definitely say that it is to test your determination to learn scriptures, but exactly what it is, you need to think about it yourself, master." Qin Ran pointed out that this kind of thing should not be explained too clearly.

Tang Sanzang was speechless for a while and had to admit that Qin Ran was telling the truth. This reason talisman was like a magic balm. No matter when he asked, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas could use this argument to fend him off.

In the West, the atmosphere in Buddhism is very solemn. In the past, the seven Buddhas were all disgraced and full of grief and anger. This time, not only did their catastrophe remain unfinished, but many powerful figures in the three realms also witnessed a farce.

The ancient Buddha Ran Deng's face was even darker. In comparison, Tathagata's mood was much better.

After this incident, he believed that the ancient Buddha of Deng Deng would definitely stop for a while and would no longer scheming with him.

"Venerable Guanyin, what happened to the Little Leiyin Temple?"

"Then Master Tang Sanzang and his disciples refused to enter Xiaoleiyin Temple, and then..."

Guanyin Bodhisattva slowly explained what she had seen. She also noticed that Sun Wukong's strength had grown rapidly. Qin Ran could not figure it out as before, and there were various suspicious things. Tang Sanzang was getting more and more outrageous, and there was no way he could understand it.

Under control.

"This monkey is indeed a trouble." Tathagata frowned. Sun Beikong was not under the control of Buddhism. This was always a knot in his mind, but unfortunately all the plans made by Buddhism were solved by the variables of Journey to the West.

Tathagata had no choice but to focus on the disaster that would follow.

"I wonder what happened to the disaster at Qijue Mountain?"

"Buddha, nothing unexpected happened. I am just waiting for the arrival of Tang Sanzang's master and disciples." Vajrapani Bodhisattva responded from the side.

It's this kind of statement again. Tathagata feels like he's tired of hearing it. It's obvious that he doesn't have any expectations for this part. This python spirit doesn't even have the ability to transform. It just wants to stop Tang Sanzang with a Qijue Mountain full of smelly persimmons.

This is not very realistic.

"In this case, Venerable Vajrapani, please go to Qijue Mountain."

“Follow the Buddha’s decree.”

Vajrapani Bodhisattva left with a sad face. Almost all the eight great Bodhisattvas had taken action, and it was his turn."

Tang Sanzang was riding on a white dragon horse. It was dark at this time, and there was a large mountain lying in front of him in the distance. A gust of mountain wind blew, and a strong smell came to him. Tang Sanzang almost fainted from the smoke.

Qin Ran pinched a spell to make the green magic barrier appear. Seeing that the smell was isolated, even if the smell dissipated, it still had great stamina. Tang Sanzang's face turned pale and he kept retching, which made Bai Longma very angry.

Scared, afraid that this thing would spit on him.

"Mr. Qin, this smell is too unpleasant. Let's find a place to stay."

Sha Monk said, "It's getting late now, and there are mountains on all sides. Where can I go to seek shelter?"

Sun Wukong said: "Junior brother Sha, don't worry. If there is no place to stay, we can just build a straw shed here."

Sha Monk said in embarrassment, "Senior Brother, this place is full of tigers, leopards, wolves, monsters and monsters. It is very difficult to travel during the day. If we stay here at night, what should we do if something unexpected happens?"

"Lao Sha, your courage is getting weaker and weaker. No, I, Lao Sun, boast that as long as I have this golden hoop in my hand, I can hold on even if the sky falls, let alone these tigers, leopards and wolves!"

Sun Wukong said nonchalantly.

"What Wu Jing said is that the smell of the mountain in front is so strong, it must be some kind of filthy place. How can you stay here?"

Tang Sanzang retorted that he didn't want to sleep here in the wilderness anyway.

"What's there to argue about? Isn't there a villa in front of me?"

Qin Ran pointed to a farm not far ahead.

Tang Sanzang's heart moved and he subconsciously asked, "Where is it?"

"There is a house behind the woods, and we just want to stay overnight."

Tang Sanzang looked in the direction and saw a village vaguely. He was surprised in his heart. The people here were quite unique and could bear such a strong stench. But tonight, he finally didn't have to sleep in the wilderness tonight. Sun Wukong opened the way.

, Tang Sanzang's master and apprentice soon arrived outside the farm. At the outermost side was a simple and deep courtyard, shaded by green willows and with flowers in full bloom in the depths of spring, giving it a pastoral feel.

Tang Sanzang stepped forward and knocked on the door, and soon an old man came out.

The old man was holding a quinoa staff and a black scarf on his head. He opened the door and asked, "Who is knocking on the door here?"

Tang Sanzang first bowed and gave a salute and said: "Old benefactor, the poor monk is a person who went to the West to worship Buddha and seek scriptures. He just arrived at your place and it was getting late. He wanted to stay at your residence for a night, hoping it would be convenient.

"

The old man stared at him in surprise and said awkwardly, "Young monk, you can't go to the west."

"Old donor, is there anything wrong with the west side?"

Tang Sanzang felt something strange in his heart. It seemed that there was something really weird about the west side.

The old man stretched out his finger and pointed to the west: "More than thirty miles to the west of our village, there is a rare persimmon street. This big mountain is called Qijue Mountain, and this smell comes from there."

Tang Sanzang felt more and more sleepy, and now the old man introduced the situation here one by one. It turned out that Qijue Mountain was full of persimmon trees. Persimmon trees have seven kinds of benefits, so they were called "Qijue". This is why Qijue Mountain was named

Got its name.

Most of the places here are high mountains and dangerous areas, so the population is sparse. No one has walked on the Qijue Mountain since ancient times. Every year, no one picks the ripe persimmons on the mountain. They fall on the road and fill up a stone alley. In addition,

Due to wind, snow and hail, these rotten persimmons fermented and formed a path of filth.

Therefore, people in this village also call this road "Xishigaya".

Once the westerly wind blows, there will be a smell that permeates the entire village. It is now the depth of spring, and most of the wind is from the southeast. There is less west wind, so the smell is acceptable.

Tang Sanzang was confused when he heard it. Damn it, isn't this smelly? It almost made him faint, okay?

And this mountain happens to lie across the west, so how can we pass it? "Master Qin, what should we do?"

Tang Sanzang asked melancholy,

"Master, there is nothing to worry about. Just let the white dragon horse clear the way when the time comes." Qin Ran said nonchalantly. The white dragon horse was frightened when he heard it. Tang Sanzang looked even more reluctant and let his white dragon horse go to the front.

, can I still ride him after he’s done arching? Then he shouldn’t be smoked to death.

However, it was getting dark now, so there was no point in talking about it. The main thing was to take a good rest. Sun Wukong was a little impatient and felt that this old man was too boring.

"You old man really doesn't understand etiquette. We are staying here from afar, and you can't stop nagging us!"

It was already dark at this time. The old man had not noticed and followed the sound. He was startled and squatted on the ground with a plop. He pointed at Sun Wukong with trembling fingers, "Monster! Monster!"
