Chapter 67: What NPCs Should Do

Dead silence and desolation.

General Atlan rode his war horse to the legendary doomsday plane, and what faced him was a corpse smell that made him want to vomit.

Years of military service have made him accustomed to the smell of corpses, but what about the enemy?

General Atlan looked around and saw nothing on the entire plain battlefield, only corpses...and only a lone city wall rising in the distance.

He thought that this dead plane would be filled with demons, bugs, abyss, chaos and other monsters. Marshal Amt had already brought a lot of church members with him.

But there seems to be nothing in this plane, except corpses, and a group of cute saviors jumping around.

wrong!

The war horse that General Atlan was riding suddenly became extremely restless. There was a strange magic power surging on the ground, and the whole ground trembled slightly.

"Sir...the body...has moved!"

"Army of the Undead?"

General Atlang looked at the corpses of soldiers who fell on the battlefield in the distance. They used broken weapons to support their bodies and slowly stood up in the desolate land. Some corpses even stood up again in a posture that defied gravity.

Get up.

He stared closely at a living corpse wearing heavy armor. The living corpse soldier's head also turned to General Atlang. The living corpse soldier once again raised the sword in his hand and pointed it at Atlang in an almost slow motion gesture.

General, the next second, scarlet soul fire burned in its pupils.

"The whole army is ready for battle!" General Atlan immediately gave the order, and the soldiers in the front row of the army raised their shields high to resist General Atlan.

"Crossbowmen! Mage squad!"

When the general issued orders one after another, he planned to fight against this army of zombies in the form of positional warfare.

A three-meter-long oval-shaped explosive bomb suddenly fell from the sky.

"That's an alchemical bomb called a quantum bomb! Tell your soldiers to close their eyes! Quick!" the spear knight's reminder sounded in front of General Atlan.

But it was too late... This quantum bomb accurately penetrated into the densest place of the resurrected zombie soldiers, and a hot flash of light bloomed on the battlefield along with the sound of explosions.

General Atlang felt his eyes sting...

"What is that! The enemy's weapon?" General Atlan asked loudly.

"The advanced skill of the Holy Spirit called the gunnery profession." The gun knight answered equally loudly.

"Holy Spirit?"

Atlang forcibly opened his eyes, only to find that there were thirteen more identical quantum bombs on the battlefield.

"Damn it!" General Atlan felt that his eyes were about to be blinded by these bombs, but it was not over yet... The temperature of the entire battlefield suddenly dropped, and several battlefields in the distance were plunged into extremely cold storms and deep waters.

In the purple black hole.

"They are really merciless!" the Lancer said loudly again.

"What's that?"

"Extreme Ice Feast and Annihilation Black Hole! Advanced skills of elemental masters!"

General Atlan didn't hear what the Lancer was saying at all, because a roar like a tiger could be heard from the battlefield on the other side.

Magic power... In Atlan's view, a tiger made of magic power was slaying on the battlefield.

"The tiger shakes the ground, I remember this move!" the Lancer said again.

"I know the power of these Holy Spirits! But can their battle be organized at all?"

General Atlan raised his voice and shouted loudly to the spear knight. Now the environment on the battlefield has become a complete mess, and various skill special effects are flying around the battlefield.

The positional warfare envisioned by General Atlan has turned into a chaotic street battle, or a simple battle involving magic.

"Get out of the way! You NPCs are blocking my way!"

When General Atlang first asked this question, a vehicle with a drill fell from the sky, making a "chug, chug" sound like a tractor and driving quickly towards the distant battlefield.

The appearance of this car also caused the formation that Marshal Atlang had finally assembled... to break without any attack.

"That car is a frost drilling car, something created by a profession called Magister. The Holy Spirits all work independently, and only a small number of people can form a team." The Lancer Knight continued to help General Artlan popularize science.

According to the living habits of this group of holy spirits.

"Why are these NPCs blocking the road? Can you give way?"

General Atlan heard a dull sound coming from behind him again. He looked back and almost pulled out the sword in his hand and chopped off the Holy Spirit.

In fact, some soldiers couldn't help but do this, but he didn't hit it.

A demon...a demon that is two meters tall.

"Devil! Why are there demons here!" General Atlan shouted in disbelief. He was about to swing his sword but was blocked by the Lancer.

"That's the Avengers, a career branch chosen by the priests in the Holy Spirit. I've also inquired about this career. Although they said that they handed over their body and mind to the devil...but...how to explain it." The Lancer really didn't know what to say.

how to explain.

But the Avengers player with the Hetu ID on his head glanced at the overly aggressive General Atlan.

"It seems like you are bald because of the stress. For the sake of the same kind of people, I will give you a drink." He kindly released a slow cure for the general.

Under the somewhat collapsed gaze of the general, the demon used its sharp claws to point a magic spell full of holy light on his head.

Then he felt the baptism of the Holy Light.

After the Avenger player released his healing skills, he ran towards the distant battlefield without looking back.

"I still suggest that the soldiers under your command make way for those Holy Spirits." The Lancer glanced at the Holy Spirits pouring out of the cracks in time and space and said.

"Then what are we bringing soldiers for?" General Atlan asked puzzledly.

"The tower spirit told us that we only need to guard this place and provide certain backup to the Holy Spirits. If necessary, we can sell some potions to those Holy Spirits. And if you take magic stones as reward, you can entrust those Holy Spirits to do some tasks."

The Lancer Knight began to teach General Atlan how to be an NPC in the dungeon.

"This situation applies to the soldiers under your command who are lost in this doomsday plane." The Lancer added.

"Do you believe in these saviors of unknown origin?"

General Atlan listened to the Lancer's description, as if he was saying to put down his weapons and wait for victory to come.

But those living corpses are not ordinary undead. They fell to the ground after eating several powerful skills of the Holy Spirit.

"If you plan to participate in this melee, I will not stop you. His Majesty the King's order to me is to defend the plane of the Trial Tower, not to attack. As for the decision-making of your Kingdom of Dark Flame, it has nothing to do with us."

The Lancer pointed to the battlefield in the distance where explosions, frost, and hurricanes intertwined.
