In the realm of Taiyi Golden Immortal, there are few opponents.
The techniques he cultivates are also inherited from Patriarch Bodhi's great Immortal Techniques, which can be regarded as the best Taoist techniques in the three realms.
After all, if you practice this Taoist method to its peak, you can reach the level of quasi-sage.
Of course, it is not easy to become a quasi-sage with the qualifications of a monkey. Even if you finally become a Buddha in a fight and gain the luck of Buddhism, it will not be enough.
Looking at the many Bodhisattvas and Arhats in Buddhism, a few have reached the level of quasi-sage, and not many of them. Even the few golden immortals who expounded the teachings and apostasy in the past have joined Buddhism. Although their cultivation has been further advanced, no matter whether it is Guanyin Bodhisattva
, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is still afraid of leaving behind the Buddha, whether he is a Bodhisattva or a Buddha.
They are all Da Luo Jinxian, but their accumulation in Da Luo Jinxian is not low. They have all reached the peak of Da Luo Jinxian.
Even if the Monkey becomes the Victorious Buddha, to be honest, it will be difficult to compare with these people in terms of status.
Although those few people were also apostates and were not natives of Buddhism, Tathagata was not a native of Buddhism, so he could not achieve the position of the leader of Buddhism.
The same is true for the ancient Buddha of Ran Deng.
Avalokitesvara and others have the ancient Buddha of Lanterns, so their status in Buddhism is not low.
There is serious internal strife in Buddhism, and the internal conflicts are becoming more and more intense because of power.
In the past, because the sage Zhunti from the West kept recruiting people, there was a mixed bag of good and bad people, and some were even forcibly transferred back.
Naturally, there will be no harmony between them.
There are actually not many local disciples of Buddhism. The Future Buddha, Maitreya Buddha, etc. are the disciples of the original saints. They were originally the masters of Buddhism.
However, when Fengshen measured the calamity and realized that Buddhism was powerful, Saint Taiqing originally wanted to use the great disciples of Jiejiao to share the luck of Buddhism.
Unexpectedly, the two Buddhist sages were so far-sighted that they directly took out the position of the Lord of Buddhism and handed it over to Duobao, who is now the Tathagata.
In this way, Duobao became Tathagata and became the master of Buddhism. Mahayana and Hinayana Buddhism merged into one. Eventually, the luck of Buddhism increased greatly, and Buddhism flourished.
The sage of Taiqing can be said to have stolen the chicken but lost the rice.
However, it also created Tathagata, who in just a million years was comparable to the veteran quasi-sage.
One drink and one peck, it is destiny.
However, although Buddhism is flourishing, it can be said that there are many internal conflicts. The local Buddhist disciples are of the same line. After Duobao became a Tathagata, some of his disciples followed him. Especially after the Great Tribulation of Conferring Gods, they were allowed to be raped.
Among the thousands of Jie Jiao disciples who left, their cultivation levels were not too bad.
A small number of them are Jinxian or above and have become the mainstay of Daleiyin Temple. Many of the three thousand Arhats are these disciples.
And with Duobao as the master of Buddhism, it can be said that this lineage is undoubtedly the most powerful.
The remaining department is the Department of Interpretation and Education, which is dominated by Ran Deng.
In these three series, due to the Battle of the Gods, the conflict between the two major factions can be said to be quite bad.
If there were not three corpses of a saint in Buddhism, I am afraid that the entire Buddhism would have exploded. Of course, Tathagata's current cultivation level is enough to suppress any dissatisfaction.
After all, the cultivation level of the quasi-sage peak is no joke, even the strength of the Randen Ancient Buddha is not enough.
Although in previous generations, Duobao was half a head shorter than the burning lamp, but now, Duobao has become a Tathagata and the master of Buddhism, which is a leader-level existence.
Ran Deng's strength is not as good as Tathagata's, and his status is even less so.
That's why the Great Thunder Sound Temple suppressed so many conflicts under Tathagata's strength. In addition, with the great prosperity of Buddhism this time, the various mountains in Buddhism did not want to cause trouble.
After all, the great prosperity of Buddhism and the surge in luck also means that they can obtain more luck. By then, they may be able to take advantage of this great revival and their cultivation may be able to reach a higher level.
So no one dares to cause trouble at this time.
They all try their best to improve the luck of Buddhism. This is why during the journey to the west, they will see Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and listen to the words of the Tathagata.
In order to keep good luck, the other party would not listen to the other party in normal times.
Just like in Heaven, people like Zhao Gongming did not give Haotian any face.
Tathagata and Avalokitesvara had a very big enmity before that.
The two great sects are really fighting each other.
Now that we have become Buddhists, the hatred will not be eliminated. It is just that everyone will restrain themselves after cultivating to this day.
It is impossible for Tathagata to suppress Guanyin and the others just because they are powerful. Although Tathagata is powerful, it is not invincible.
Not to mention the three corpses of saints in Buddhism, the Ancient Buddha of Burning Lights and the Maitreya Buddha are all quasi-sages. Even if their cultivation is not as good as the Tathagata, they can still compete with them if they join forces.
Moreover, there is also a Peacock King in Buddhism, who is at the pinnacle of the quasi-sage, and his strength is no worse than that of his predecessor.
Back then, he dared to fight with Zhunti. Although he was defeated and was sent away by Zhunti, no one dared to underestimate him.
As the son of the Phoenix, this Saint was brought back to Buddhism by the Chunti Saint. The former did not do anything to the other person. Instead, he even named the other person the Peacock Ming King of Buddhism. This was the only one who stood in his way.
In terms of status, he is even second only to the Tathagata.
And this person is also very aloof and arrogant. Among Buddhists, he is just like Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, who walks alone.
Buddhism is chaotic, but in terms of strength, it is indeed terrifying. The combat power of the quasi-sage alone is not much worse than that of the human race.
At most, it is not as good as the human race at the intermediate level.
However, due to internal conflicts, Buddhism is the same as heaven. In fact, the same is true for the human race. It is just the top power. The human race is more harmonious.
In the future, when Buddhism flourishes, one or two quasi-sages may be born. However, it is a pity that a monkey will become a Buddhist and defeat the Buddha. The merits will be greatly distributed, but it is almost impossible to become a quasi-sage.
