Another way is to immobilize Lingqi directly and prevent Lin Xiaodong from taking it.

On the morning of the next day, Master Maoshen called Luo Zhengqing and said, "Follow me to Changchang Cave."
Luo Zhengqing was puzzled: "Going to see Taoist Xuanjian?

Master Maoshen smiled sinisterly: "I have already thought of a clever plan, which can not only get rid of Lin Xiaodong, but also cause chaos in Guanghanqiu."
The two masters and apprentices came to the courtyard, rose into the clouds, and flew south.
But it was said that in Changchang Cave, Taoist Xuanjian was sitting in meditation. Suddenly, he had a sudden impulse. He counted with his fingers and knew where he was. He called Lin Yushu and said, "There are distinguished guests coming to the door. Go and greet them on your behalf."
Lin Yushu bowed and went out, waiting quietly outside the mountain gate.
Soon, clouds of light flew in from the north. Lin Yushu put up a pergola with his hands and stood on tiptoe to look. When he saw it was Master Maoshen and Luo Zhengqing, he immediately became angry.
They are both traitors, Taoist Xuanjian and Zhenren Maoshen belong to Guanghanqiu and Xiayunfeng respectively, and have the same power as water and fire.
Master Maoshen and Luo Zhengqing landed at the foot of the cloud. Seeing Lin Yushu already there, Master Maoshen said: "I have something important to see your teacher. Please let me know."
Lin Yushu crossed his arms and squinted his eyes, not giving a good look, and asked: "People from Xia Yunfeng, why do you want to come to Guanghanqiu?"
Luo Zhengqing was about to have a fit. He stepped forward and pointed at Lin Yushu, but was blocked by Master Maoshen, saying: "I have something I want to discuss with Master Xuanjian."

How could Master Lei Lie be fooled? After reading it, he shook the letter and burned it to ashes.
Yu Jianhua asked: "What does Master Xuanjian want to do?"
Master Lei Lie looked north: "Hongmen Banquet."
Yu Jianhua blinked: "Then shall we go?"
Master Lei Lie came out of the meeting and said: "Go and invite Taoist Chuming, Ling Huaizi and Master Linchong to come."
Yu Jianhua took the order and went down the mountain. At dusk, three people came one after another and sat in the lobby.
