Chapter 67 Dragon Scales

Lu Mingfei opened his eyes and found himself lying on a cowhide bench, covered with a blanket. This was a quaintly decorated study room, surrounded by bookcases, and a crystal chandelier hung on the roof.

Lu Mingfei sat up and looked around. Professor Guderian was taking a nap at the desk not far away.

"Are you awake?" Professor Guderian raised his disheveled head.

Lu Mingfei was silent, pressing his forehead, as if a blood vessel was beating in his head.

He was still thinking about what the little boy had just said, and he was still in a daze for a moment.

Professor Guderian looked at the silent Lu Mingfei and touched his nose involuntarily. He felt a little guilty. He couldn't have accidentally stimulated Lu Mingfei so much that he went crazy.

Some students who had received entrance counseling in the past were also surprised, but they were not as big a reaction as Lu Mingfei. It was really unprecedented. Professor Guderian whispered in his heart.

If Lu Mingfei was really frightened and something happened, Principal Ange would probably go crazy.

Professor Guderian comforted Lu Mingfei and said:

"Is there such a big fear? In fact, in essence, it is just a powerful species."

"No!" Lu Mingfei looked into Professor Guderian's eyes and organized his words, "I'm not afraid of dragons... Have you seen "Terminator"?"

In fact, after the dream just now, Lu Mingfei had vaguely noticed something was wrong. The legendary dragon might be real.

But Lu Mingfei had never seen a real dragon, so he still wasn't sure.

"I have seen it. Arnold Schwarzenegger played it. I like him very much. He is the current governor of California." Professor Guderian nodded.

"Then do you remember? There was a scene where John Connor's mother was in the police station and told the police that she saw a robot that had returned from time travel. He came from an era when humans were almost extinct. The robot held a laser rifle.

Shooting everywhere..."

Lu Mingfei said calmly, "So the police said you are a mentally ill criminal!"

To be on the safe side, Lu Mingfei still pretended to be stupid and planned to use Professor Guderian's words.

In fact, he just used "The Terminator" as an example, which means that he directly pointed out that he suspected that Professor Guderian and others were mentally ill.

And another deeper meaning - in the plot of "Terminator", what Connor's mother said was true, but there was no evidence. Lu Mingfei was hinting that he would only believe it if they gave enough evidence.

"Okay, for some freshmen, we must show them evidence!" Professor Guderian clapped his hands.

The study door opened, and a middle-aged man with "I am Japanese" written on his face walked in quickly. In each hand was a black suitcase with silver metal edging, which looked quite sturdy.

After placing the two suitcases on the table, he bowed respectfully to Lu Mingfei and introduced himself in fluent Chinese, "My name is Toyama Masashi, a psychological counseling teacher at Kassel College. I am very happy to meet you."

There have been no 'S'-level freshmen for more than 40 years."

Lu Mingfei was a little surprised: "Are there so few S-levels? Only one emerges in forty years? Who is that 'S'-level freshman? Is he a peerless master of dragon slaying?"

Lu Mingfei was very curious about this academy which was said to be specialized in dragon slaying.

"Originally he had a chance, but he committed suicide by shooting himself in the second semester of his sophomore year, so there was nothing more to do." Masashi Toyama was very frank.

"Suicide by swallowing a gun?"

"Because my grades were so good and my thinking was very sharp, I fell into some philosophical difficulties when I was studying the Dragon Chronicles. I couldn't get rid of it for a while, so I swallowed the gun. Later, we added a psychology teacher." Toyama Masashi said.

"It sounds a bit like that person saw a mysterious book, then saw or heard something indescribable, and then went crazy." Lu Mingfei joked.

He was just joking at first, but he didn't expect Professor Guderian and others to show thoughtful expressions after hearing this speculation.

"..." Lu Mingfei.

Why do you feel like the future is dark?

"You have potential!" Professor Guderian gave a thumbs up to Masashi Toyama with a bright look, which obviously meant that he was the best student.

Lu Mingfei didn't understand what he was enjoying and wanted to cover his face.

"We brought two pieces of evidence to prove that dragons do exist in this world. These two pieces are very high-level cultural relics. We specially borrowed them from the college archives."

Lu Mingfei looked curiously.

Masashi Toyama opened the first suitcase with the password and fingerprint. After peeling off the layers of foam, Lu Mingfei saw a piece of black scales, about half the size of a palm, in the shape of a perfect shield, and the surface was as smooth as if it were new.

After the oil is applied, the texture is clearly discernible under the oil light.

"Pinch it." Masashi Toyama said.

Lu Mingfei carefully picked up the scale. It felt like it was fake. The texture was a bit like steel. It was cold and tough, but the weight was very light. It was close to plastic. The edge was so sharp that it would cut your fingers with just a little force. This

At that moment, Masashi Toyama stuffed something into his palm.

Lu Mingfei was dumbfounded, it was actually a pistol.

Lu Mingfei mentally raised the risk level of Cassel College by a large margin.

Once again, I decided that Kassel is definitely not a serious college, and it is not far away from being a dark organization... How can any college directly give students a gun at the beginning of the semester?

"Walter ppk pistol, caliber 7.65 mm, muzzle velocity 280 meters per second, effective range 50 meters, the guys in the equipment department have made some improvements to it. Now, you can use it to shoot at the scales." Masashi Toyama placed the scales

On the windowsill.

"I know this gun..." Lu Mingfei was not a military fan, but he had a keyboard expert as a friend who taught him a lot of science.

"Yes, it's the classic 007 pistol." Masashi Toyama covered his ears, "Don't worry, just shoot and aim at the scales."

"..." Lu Mingfei.

The madman's logic is really incomprehensible.

Lu Mingfei raised his gun, aimed at the scales, and calmly pulled the trigger according to what he had learned in high school military training.

There was a loud bang, and Lu Mingfei felt as if he was hit in the chest by a heavy hammer. The recoil from the ppk made him feel like an aircraft cannon shell had just been fired.

Lu Mingfei was about to flip over and fall into the sofa behind him. The half-dead cat Cat Bug that had been in Lu Mingfei's suitcase lifted him up, cooed softly, and twisted his body.

As if he had caught something in mid-air, Lu Mingfei felt that his body had stabilized. He took two steps forward without his control, and calmly handed the pistol to Masashi Toyama.

Masashi Toyama glanced at Lu Mingfei in surprise. He was worthy of being an S-class, and his physical strength was really good. I heard that Lu Mingfei could withstand the modified gun before he awakened. It seemed that the powerful recoil was not enough for Lu Mingfei.

There is no impact.

Professor Guderian glanced at Masashi Toyama in disbelief, which meant that he must be a great student.

"This gun was modified by the Equipment Department. It is a good gun. Although it may not be able to explode the dragon's eye with one shot, it is estimated that it can leave some traces on the fourth and fifth generation species." Toyama Masashi introduced to Lu Mingfei.

His body was out of control for only a moment. Soon Lu Mingfei regained control of his body. He shook his head vigorously and took a clear look at the surrounding situation. The first thing he saw was Professor Guderian's face full of appreciation.

The second sight was the black scales shaking in Toyama Masashi's hand.

Perfect black scales, with nothing leaving any traces on its surface.

Lu Mingfei was absolutely sure that the shot he had just hit hit the center of the scales. He was not a student with outstanding individual abilities, but in military training he was a rare student with ten shots and one hundred rings. The instructors were fooled by this inconspicuous guy.

I was shocked by the good gun.

A gun comparable to an aircraft cannon failed to penetrate the scales.

"This is the dragon scale. It was discovered by Sven Hedin in the ancient city of Loulan in XJ, China in 1900. He failed to recognize it, but he found that it could not be damaged by fire or hammering, so he brought it from China.

Back to Europe.

Someone in Europe recognized it, and that person's name was Meineke Cassel. This is one of the evidences. Now shouldn't you start to believe it?" Masashi Toyama said.

"Can't it be high-tech?" Lu Mingfei already believed most of it, but still wanted to see what else they could come up with.

I feel like my worldview has been severely impacted today.
