438. An Old Account From Many Years Ago (4)

Just as she was thinking about it, the phone in her hand lit up again. The caller ID was Pei Yifeng. She picked up the phone and heard a familiar voice from the other side: "Anyi."

"Yi Feng."

"Where have you been?" Pei Yifeng's voice on the other end of the phone was gentle.

"I sent Xizi and the others away for a while to buy some food. What do you want to eat?" Lu Anyi simply answered Pei Yifeng. She couldn't explain what she said on the phone clearly, so she planned to talk about it when she got back.

"I've already bought the food, Yangyang wants to wait for you to come back and eat together."[

"Oh, once I buy it, I'll go back right away."

Lu Anyi hung up the phone, gathered her mood, and walked quickly towards the inpatient building. As she went upstairs, her heart kept repeating what Xia Hongzheng said about Aunt Qiong's terminal liver cancer.

Unable to calm down, she walked down the long corridor with her hands on her chest. When she reached the door of the ward, she reached out and gently opened the door. Pei Yifeng and Lu Zhenyang were sitting on the sofa and looked at her.

"Mom, where have you been?" Lu Zhenyang was sitting on the sofa, his voice sounding as weak as his current spirit.

Lu Anyi walked up to Lu Zhenyang and touched Lu Zhenyang's little head distressedly, "Mom was going to buy food. We met an acquaintance and chatted for a few words. You guys should eat before I come back. What are you waiting for me to do?"

Lu Zhenyang pouted and looked at the food on the table, shaking his head, "Actually, I'm not hungry and I don't want to eat."

After saying that, he suddenly looked up at Lu Anyi again. I don't know what he thought, but he seemed to be energetic, "But in order to gain weight and defeat Feifei, I have to eat."

Lu Anyi was stunned for a moment after hearing this, and then thought of what Zhang Mofei said to Lu Zhenyang when she left, that men don't need to lose weight. She pursed her lips thoughtfully and smiled, and sat down next to Lu Zhenyang.

After dinner, it was getting dark, and Lu Zhenyang was put to sleep. Lu Anyi sat on the edge of the bed and looked at the little person sleeping on the bed. I don't know when that beautiful little face started to frown even when it fell asleep.

After sitting by the bed for a while, Lu Anyi stood up and pulled Pei Yifeng back to sit on the sofa. Her eyes fixed on Pei Yifeng's face for a while, and then she sighed deeply and turned to Twilight to look at the table.

.

Seeing this, Pei Yifeng naturally guessed that Lu Anyi had something on her mind but didn't know how to say it, and how could she hide the worry in her eyes from the shrewd him.

Pei Yifeng frowned slightly and looked at Lu Anyi, then asked softly, "Anyi, what's wrong with you?"

"Yifeng... um, have you contacted Aunt Qiong recently?" Lu Anyi asked in a tentative tone, not looking at Pei Yifeng, but looking down at the table unnaturally.

"No, what?" Pei Yifeng heard Lu Anyi suddenly ask about Aunt Qiong, coupled with her hesitant tone, he looked at Lu Anyi suspiciously and observed the expression on Lu Anyi's face.

Before Lu Anyi could answer, Pei Yifeng thought of something and then asked, "Who did you meet in the hospital today?"

Lu Anyi took a deep breath and exhaled it heavily. She raised her head and turned to look at Pei Yifeng. She decided to tell Pei Yifeng that she had to let Pei Yifeng know about this, because I was afraid that only Pei Yifeng knew what Aunt Qiong's other wishes were.

Even if she didn't have any wishes, Aunt Qiong cared so much about Pei Yifeng that she would let Pei Yifeng take care of her for the rest of her days.

"Yifeng, when I was sending Xizi and the others away today, I saw Aunt Qiong entering the hospital."
