Chapter 282 We Startled All the Gods and Buddhas with Our Arguments

Chapter 282 We all discussed our own affairs, alarming the gods and Buddhas all over the sky [Please subscribe to the big chapter]

What about relationships?

Sun Wukong was stunned for a moment.

Then he said: "Then are you willing to worship me as your teacher?"

Xuanzang shook his head and refused: "A poor monk saved you, and he is also a holy monk of the Tang Dynasty. How can he be worthy of becoming his disciple?"

Sun Wukong curled his lips with disdain on his face, "My old grandson is Sun Wukong, the Monkey King of the Water Curtain Cave in the Flower and Fruit Mountain. He caused havoc in the Heavenly Palace five hundred years ago and accepted you as his disciple. That is more than enough."

Xuanzang clasped his hands together and said: "Amitabha, the poor monk was ordered by the King of Tang to go to the West to obtain scriptures. With the blessings of the gods and Buddhas in the sky, I worship you as my teacher. You must be able to bear it!"

The two refused to give in to each other.

Sun Wukong also knew that the Buddhist sect had arranged for him to become a disciple. If he wanted to accept a disciple, and the Buddhist sect found out, they would definitely come to suppress him.

So he said: "Okay, what do you think? Anyway, I am not willing to accept you as my teacher."

Xuanzang said: "The poor monk has also noticed that you have no intention of joining Buddhism. You just want the poor monk to save you, so I don't want to accept you as a disciple."

actually.

Xuanzang listened to Su Chen's explanation and said that there would be several apprentices arranged by Buddhism along the way. They were powerful and their magic power was boundless.

Su Chen specifically mentioned Sun Wukong. When he saw Sun Wukong, Xuanzang's whole body was resisting.

Because he didn't want to admit that Su Chen was right, otherwise it would prove that this journey to the west was a conspiracy.

And Xuanzang was just a small flag in this conspiracy, which was not what he wanted to accept.

Therefore, when Xuanzang passed by Wuzhishan, he quickened his pace and left.

He was helplessly called back by Sun Wukong, and later encountered a mountain spirit tree monster, so he had to release Sun Wukong to protect himself.

Now because of seniority issues, he doesn't want to accept Sun Wukong as his disciple, but he doesn't want to become a master either.

For a moment, I felt a little embarrassed.

Xuanzang said: "Okay, let's just talk about our own affairs. You call me eminent monk, and I call you great sage."

Sun Wukong nodded repeatedly, "Very good. From now on, I can call you Master, and you can call me Monkey Brother."

Xuanzang said: "Okay, Monkey."

Sun Wukong bared his teeth and said, "Yeah, be good, you bald donkey."

The two of them have determined each other's identities. They are both equal. Strictly speaking, they have different opinions.

You call me brother, and I call you brother, and everyone is happy.

After confirming their identities, the two decided to immediately set off to the West to obtain the true scriptures.

but.

Xuanzang wanted Mahayana Buddhism to prove that Su Chen was wrong.

Sun Wukong simply received Su Chen's tips and took the opportunity to practice along the way, striving to break through the realm as soon as possible.

In short, Sun Wukong needs to travel to the west to practice, improve his strength, and benefit from the luck of Buddhism.

The two have different goals, but they all have the same goal, so they can be considered to have reached an agreement.

Moreover, the two of them were on guard against each other, and when they rested at night, they would keep a little distance from each other.

Xuanzang practiced secretly, and Sun Wukong did not want to be influenced by Buddhism.

The two of them traveled like this, and Sun Wukong had previously defeated many Jialan and Vajra Arhats, which made Buddhism furious.

Xitian, Lingshan.

The Tathagata summoned various Arhat Bodhisattvas, pointing one finger to the sky and the other to the earth, looking down at the monks.

Guanyin has stood firm in the starting position, but her face is still a little bad. It seems that after recasting her body, she did not recover immediately!

Maitreya Buddha also appeared. He is now the acting person in charge of the journey to the West. Now that the pilgrimage to the West has officially begun, he must be present.

Tathagata glanced at the crowd and said, "Xuan Zang has officially set off on his journey. Where is he now?"

Maitreya Buddha immediately came forward, always with a smile on his face, "Inform the Buddha that Xuanzang set out from Chang'an and arrived at Wuzhi Mountain in three days. At this time, he had already set off with Sun Wukong."

Tathagata said: "From Chang'an in the Tang Dynasty to Wuzhishan, it would take an ordinary person three months to walk. Although Xuanzang had a white horse and a body full of Buddhist teachings, he was still just a strong ordinary person. It took him one and a half months to get there. Why?

We’ll be here in three days?!”

Maitreya Buddha was stunned.

He hadn't thought of this possibility before, because subconsciously he still felt that the speed was already very slow.

After all, it only took him a few breaths to get from Chang'an to Wuzhishan, and he was there in an instant.

When Xuanzang is brought into Jinchanzi, the speed is almost the same, or even faster.

But they forgot that Xuanzang was no longer a golden cicada, but an ordinary mortal.

Moreover, in order to allow Xuanzang to practice Buddhism more purely, Buddhism has not allowed Xuanzang to practice magical powers and techniques since he was born.

Xuanzang was still an ordinary person. He was not incompetent, but he was still an ordinary person.

It took a month and a half for the soldiers of the Tang Dynasty to rush forward, but it took him three days to arrive?!

The Arhat Bodhisattvas in the Main Hall all looked at each other and seemed a little confused.

They had not yet realized why Tathagata would say this. Isn't it normal to travel from Chang'an to Wuzhishan in three days?

But when I think about it being an ordinary person, traveling thousands of miles away in three days, this is too fast!

Maitreya Buddha was stunned for a moment. He really didn't expect this, which made him a little confused.

After reacting at this time, he immediately frowned and said with a serious face, "Buddha, if you say so, I'm afraid Xuanzang practiced magic, but the poor monk once tried him in Chang'an, and he didn't have the power or magic power."

Tathagata said: "Everything is possible. If you are surrounded by spiritual masters, how can you not have any magic power?"

Then he added: "But it doesn't matter if he has it. Since he has already been in contact, let him slowly explore on his own. If he is blindly suppressed or directly deprived, it will only cause rebellion."

All the monks nodded in agreement.

Guanyin felt a little guilty, "Buddha, it's all the fault of his disciples. He didn't notice this and asked him to practice magic."

Tathagata said: "It is not easy to arrange the Nine-nine and Eighty-one Disasters in Journey to the West, and in order not to arouse the attention and resentment of various forces in the three realms, Xuanzang is not allowed to know. The best thing that can be done is to follow Xuanzang.

Less contact, it’s not your fault!”

Guanyin was very moved.

She did exactly what the Buddha said. She had been preparing for five hundred years to prepare for the eighty-one tribulations.

In order to keep Xuanzang pure enough, she could only let ordinary Buddhist monks teach Buddhism around Xuanzang, and no one dared to escape detection.

Since Xuanzang was born, she has only seen him once. When Xuanzang was being chased by bandits, she personally took action and delivered it to the eminent monk.

It never appeared later, and everything was allowed to develop freely for him.

But according to previous calculations, and every time the monks prayed to the statues, Xuanzang was just an ordinary person, he did not practice any magic, and he was the purest Buddhist monk!

How come he knows magic? Even if he doesn't know magic, his body is not at the level of an ordinary person.

Tathagata said: "From now on, everyone will be optimistic about Xuanzang. He is the key to the prosperity of our Buddhism. Without him, it will take at least five hundred years for our Buddhism to reach its peak!"

All the monks were a little excited.

None of them doubted Tathagata's words because Xuanzang was so important. He was a powerful and eminent monk and had extremely high prestige in the world.

If he could go back with Mahayana Buddhism, he would definitely be able to make Buddhism the state religion of the Tang Dynasty, so that most people of the Tang Dynasty would believe in Buddhism.

At that time, the influence of the Tang Dynasty will be radiated to nearby countries, and the people of the countries encountered on the way westward will be influenced to believe in Buddhism, which will allow Buddhism to have a foundation in the human world.

Over the past ten years or so, Buddhism's faith has increased dramatically, the Buddhist Union has become more stable, and its peak is just around the corner.

This is an arrangement of Buddhism, because Xuanzang is a mortal, no matter how much he does in the human world, he will not arouse other people's resentment, even if he is resentful, it is useless.

Things in the human world are in the human world.

If Buddhism sends a powerful person to influence a country and make them believe in Buddhism, it will definitely arouse the resentment of other forces. When the time comes, a war between gods and Buddhas will be inevitable.

Therefore.

This trip to the West to obtain scriptures must be done by Xuanzang.

For Buddhism to reach its peak, it was Xuanzang who could do it.

Maitreya Buddha said: "Buddha, don't worry. Now Xuanzang is escorted by Sun Wukong. He will kill demons and promote Buddhism along the way. This will definitely make our Buddhism flourish."

Tathagata said: "We still have to watch Xuanzang. We can't let him improve his strength to a level that attracts attention. If we find an opportunity, change his cassock into the Seven Wonders Treasure Clothes. Unless he is a saint, otherwise it will be Da Luo.

I can’t see his strength either.”

Maitreya Buddha was shocked. The Seven Wonderful Treasure Clothes were the treasures given to the Tathagata by the two sages of Buddhism.

Unexpectedly, Tathagata actually took it out and gave it to Xuanzang.

This is really a big deal.

Maitreya Buddha was a little envious. With the Seven Wonderful Treasure Clothes, he could not only isolate himself from the prying eyes of saints, but he could also receive divine help in his practice.

It is said that when the Tathagata cultivated the eight-foot-long golden body, he was wearing that precious robe. With one successful move, the world was shaken.

Now, give it to Xuanzang.

Maitreya Buddha accepted the order and agreed.

Tathagata continued: "Amitabha, Sun Wukong came out, but he beat Jialan and Arhat away. In this case, there is no need to send people to monitor them in the future."

Guanyin endured the discomfort and said quickly: "Buddha, my disciples think it's inappropriate. This matter is of great importance. How can no one watch it? If a monster sneak attacks or accidentally hurts Xuanzang, what should we do?!"

Tathagata said: "I have calculated it, and the ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties are all near-misses. Moreover, with Sun Wukong here and the white dragon Ao Lie behind me, I have all my thoughts and ideas, so I will give Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing to

He’s safe on this trip!”

All the monks nodded.

Even though Guanyin was still a little worried, she still nodded and admitted that this lineup is enough.

The Tathagata said: "If you are not yet at ease, there will be many difficulties ahead. Please be more careful. The most important thing is to stabilize Xuanzang's Buddhist mind of studying in the West, and to stabilize the minds of the disciples around him. Don't let them neglect their great cause."

.”

"Repay! Buddha!"

Just after Tathagata finished speaking, Guangmu Bodhisattva from outside came in.

He looked a little ugly and said: "Buddha, Xuanzang and Sun Wukong have already set off and left the Wuzhi Mountain realm!"

Tathagata said: "I already know this, so there is no need to make such a fuss."

Guangmu Bodhisattva said: "Buddha, but Sun Wukong did not worship Xuanzang as his teacher. They treat each other as brothers, and each of them has his own differences!"

Everyone talks about it?!

Brothers befitting each other?!

There was silence in the Main Hall.

Everyone was confused.

It seemed that they did not expect that such a thing would happen, which was completely beyond their imagination.

Tathagata was also shocked, but the expression on his face remained unchanged.

I closed my eyes slightly, trying to figure out what happened.

He didn't want to use his magical powers from the past and future. Now that there is a catastrophe in Journey to the West and the way of heaven is hazy, it is very dangerous to use magical powers to calculate things related to the catastrophe.

but.

At this time, he had to make some calculations, otherwise something would go wrong, which would affect the entire Buddhist sect.

Half a moment.

Tathagata opened his eyes, with a look of shock and disbelief on his face, and sighed at the same time, "Sure enough, the catastrophe is becoming increasingly difficult to estimate. I can only estimate some broken pictures, and many key things are blurred and unclear.

"

All the monks were silent.

Tathagata continued: "But it is certain that Sun Wukong and Xuanzang have reached an agreement and will go west together. That's all. It doesn't matter that they call themselves brothers. After all, after five hundred years of suppression, I believe Sun Wukong will not dare to make mistakes."

Everyone nodded.

Maitreya Buddha said: "Yes, the poor monk passed by and warned him last time, and he was very obedient."

Guanyin also said: "Yes, my disciple came into contact with him twice, and he was very respectful and said that he would definitely complete the mission of escorting me."

Tathagata said: "This is the best opportunity to influence Sun Wukong. When the time comes, we can draw him and several other people into Buddhism and strengthen the power of Buddhism."

He sighed, "Originally, the master-disciple relationship was the best. After Sun Wukong was escorted to the West, he was able to naturally enter my Buddhist sect. Now, it is more or less unstable."

Thinking of this, Tathagata took out three diamond rings and threw them to Maitreya Buddha together with the precious clothes.

The Tathagata said: "These are three golden circles. They are all magic weapons. They can be used to help Xuanzang subdue people and be used by him. Of course, if his followers are honest, they don't need to."

Seeing Maitreya Buddha deep in thought, Tathagata added: "However, Sun Wukong is unsettled, so he can use one. The others will depend on their performance."

Maitreya Buddha received the order and naturally nodded in agreement.

The Tathagata asked again: "Have all the disasters been dealt with in place?"

Maitreya Buddha said: "According to Xuanzang's original schedule, the tribulations of Nine-Nine and Eighty-One will last more than ten years. The tribulations in the middle and later stages have already had their cause and effect and will gradually fall into place."

The Tathagata said: "Amitabha, how good it is, how good it is."

world.

Xuanzang and Sun Wukong had already embarked on the journey to the west to obtain Buddhist scriptures. Along the way, perhaps because he felt that someone was watching him, Xuanzang made no move to carry the white horse forward.

However, the speed was several times faster than that of ordinary people. He had to cross mountains and rivers directly at many places where he should have stopped to rest.

Needless to say, Sun Wukong, if Su Chen hadn't ordered him to take the opportunity to cultivate his moral character, he probably would have just sent the monk away with a somersault cloud.

The other side.

After Su Chen left Wuzhi Mountain that day, he did not return to Yunyuan Mountain immediately.

He went directly to Shepan Mountain.

There is someone in Snake Panshan Yingchoujian whom he must meet.

Su Chen planned to disrupt the catastrophe of the Journey to the West and let Buddhism's teachings spread eastward, but in vain, so he had to take action everywhere.

Otherwise, he is not sure if he relies on Xuanzang's wavering Buddha's heart and Sun Wukong whose reliability is still questionable.

In order to maintain his position and protect his own interests, Su Chen would never allow Buddhism to spread eastward.

Taoism and even Yunyuanshan may not be the state religion of the Tang Dynasty, but they cannot let Buddhism do it.

Snakes coil around the mountain, and eagles worry about the stream.

When Su Chen appeared here, he noticed that there was no formation here, it was just an ordinary landscape.

but.

Su Chen knew that there was a dragon here.

At the foot of Shepan Mountain and next to Yingchou Stream, there is a thatched house and an old man is fishing.

With Su Chen's eyesight, he could immediately tell that the old man was not simple, he had magic power, and he was probably the caretaker who trapped the little white dragon here.

It's just that Su Chen didn't know whether the old man was from Heaven or Buddhism.

Su Chen took the initiative to say hello, "Old man, there are beautiful mountains and clear waters here, and there is no one around. Why did you settle down here?"

The old man didn't look back. There were often people passing by here, always asking strange questions. If he ignored him, the passers-by would naturally become bored and leave.

but.

When Su Chen saw that he was silent, he said: "It turns out he is deaf."

The old man got angry and turned around to glare at Su Chen, but he was also surprised by Su Chen's rather handsome face.

But he still glared at Su Chen.

Seeing this, Su Chen said: "It seems that he is not deaf, but he doesn't speak. He may be mute."

The old man became even more angry and scolded: "What a rude boy. I advise you to leave immediately."

Su Chen said: "Why?"

The old man said: "Because it's almost time to eat."

Su Chen said: "I'm an old man. Do you want to eat?"

The old man said: "It's not me, it's the thing in the pond."

Su Chen smiled and said: "Fish in the pond?"

The old man was speechless.

Su Chen continued to mutter to himself: "It doesn't matter, the old people are here, why don't we all have a meal together."

The old man chuckled and said: "It's hard to persuade a damn ghost with good words. I have already asked you to leave, but you are still here. When the time comes, you will die. Don't blame me for not persuading you!"

Su Chen chuckled and said, "Thank you for your concern, old man. I actually want to see how bad the dragon in the water is, that it can actually feed on passers-by."

Um?!

The old man's entire temperament changed. He suddenly looked at Su Chen, looking up and down, but could not see anything unusual.

He frowned and said, "I didn't expect that I made a mistake. May I ask who you are?"

Su Chen smiled and said: "There is a cultivator of immortality at Hualong Temple in Yunyuan Mountain. His Taoist name is Wugou. The Emperor of the Tang Dynasty bestowed him with the title of King Side by Side."

The old man was stunned for a moment. He searched his mind and found no impression of Su Chen.

"It is rare for a cultivator in the world to have such ability as fellow Taoist. I guess fellow Taoist has also noticed the difference. The things in this water are not simple. Let's go quickly."

The old man once again suggested that Su Chen leave, but Su Chen looked calm and said: "If it is so dangerous, why is the old man still here?"

The old man said: "I'm looking for a chance here."

Su Chen asked: "What opportunity?"

The old man was silent for a moment, hesitated to speak, and finally said seriously: "It doesn't matter if I tell you, you and I can even cooperate!"

Su Chen sat down on the stone nearby, looking like he was listening attentively.

The old man continued fishing, his eyes full of memories, and said: "My fellow Taoist is still young, so he may not have heard that five hundred years ago, there was a divine dragon who committed evil at home, and was sued by his father to heaven, and was finally imprisoned.

The Jade Emperor of Heaven whipped him for three days and three nights, and then beheaded him in public."

"However, at the last moment, a Buddhist sage appeared, rescued Shenlong, and asked him to change his mind. He waited in the human world for the arrival of the holy monks who were seeking Buddhist scriptures from the West, and then they went to the West to retrieve scriptures together to atone for his sins."

Su Chen had naturally heard of it, but he still smiled and did not respond.

In the eyes of the old man, his posture was like that of a cultivator who did not understand worldly affairs and yearned for things in the world of gods and immortals.

Then he continued: "That dragon is Ao Lie, the third prince of the Dragon King of the West Sea. He burned the dragon beads rewarded by the Jade Emperor in the Dragon Palace, and was sued by the Dragon King of the West Sea to heaven. He was charged with the crime of disobedience and should be punished for his crime!"

Su Chen said: "A mere dragon ball costs the life of his own son. This Dragon King is too cruel!"

The old man nodded and said: "I have thought about it for five hundred years, but I still can't figure out why the Dragon King sued his own son for a serious crime of disobedience."

Su Chen said: "The third prince Ao Lie is here at the Snake Coil Mountain Yingchou Stream, right?!"

The old man nodded and said, "That's exactly it."

Su Chen said: "Old man, could it be that you came here to wait for the opportunity to calm him down for Buddhism in exchange for a reward from Buddhism?!"

Su Chen originally thought that the old man might be from Heaven, but after thinking about it carefully, Heaven had given Ao Lie to Buddhism, so there was no reason to send anyone to watch.

The old man shook his head and denied his Buddhist identity.

Su Chen asked again: "Then you are from Heaven?"

The old man still shook his head and denied this identity.

Su Chen frowned and said: "Then old man, who are you and why are you here?!"

The old man said: "I, Huang Daxian, have cultivated in the human world for eight hundred years and have already reached the level of a true immortal. It is a pity that after practicing for three thousand years, I still cannot make any further progress."

Wong Tai Sin?

Su Chen didn't expect that it was Wong Tai Sin, a relatively famous immortal in the world.

"I didn't expect that the old man turned out to be the famous Wong Tai Sin. I have admired him for a long time!"

He stood up and held up his hands, showing respect to this famous immortal!

Huang Taixian chuckled and said: "I am already old. It is all a false name. If I cannot go further, I will die of old age in another three hundred years!"

Su Chen was shocked, "The old man has become a true immortal, how can he die in just a few thousand years?"

Wong Tai Sin said: "I have a special physique. It took me 80,000 years to transform into a human being, and another 800 years to become a true immortal. However, I cannot go any further, so I can only gradually grow old and die."

Su Chen sighed, everyone has his own destiny.

Huang Taixian continued: "You mentioned Chang'an and the Tang Dynasty. It seems that there has been another dynasty change in China."

Su Chen said: "Yes."

Wong Tai Sin asked again: "Who is the current emperor?"

Su Chen said: "Li Shimin."

Wong Tai Sin reached out and made some calculations, and said in surprise: "What a strong destiny, and it is also strange and changeable. This emperor is not simple, I am afraid he has the protection of a great god!"

Su Chen smiled and did not explain.

Asked: "Since the old man is not a Buddha and does not work for heaven, what is he doing here?"

Wong Tai Sin said: "I told you what happened five hundred years ago. No one knows why the Dragon King of the West Sea did what he did. No one knows why the Heavenly Court convicted him without trial, let alone why he was punished with death. But Buddhism wants people, and the Heavenly Court

Just give it!"

He smiled and said, "I can't understand it, and neither can the dragon in the river."

"So, he has been going crazy all day long, as if he is crazy. When he goes completely crazy, I will swallow up all his resentment, and then draw out his dragon blood for a chance to change his life!"

Huang Taixian suddenly raised his head to look at the sky, his face suddenly changed slightly, and he said: "Fellow Taoist, please go quickly, it's time for the dragon to feast, he is going to... come out!!"

Look at the water surface, gradually opening up, and a white dragon as huge as a mountain is galloping up.

He circled in the air and looked down at Wong Tai Sin.

He saw Su Chen again, but he was not very interested in Su Chen. Instead, he opened his bloody mouth and tried to devour Wong Tai Sin.

"You old man, you've been here for five hundred years, and you still dare to take advantage of this prince's idea and eat you!"

"Have you eaten me? Third Prince, have you figured out what happened five hundred years ago?"

"I don't want to think about it anymore. It's all your fault for coming here five hundred years ago and asking so many questions. Otherwise, how would I have had a headache for five hundred years?"

Su Chen was stunned for a moment and looked strange.

It turns out that Wong Tai Sin came here on purpose to raise so many questions to confuse Ao Lie's Taoist mind, and then take advantage of the situation.

I have the same idea as him.

While he was thinking wildly, Huang Daxian struck out with a palm, but unexpectedly Ao Lie swallowed him up in one bite!

It's the end of the month, it's the end of the month. If you don't vote, your monthly vote will expire.

The next chapters will become more and more exciting, so stay tuned. I’ve been writing very smoothly these days, so I haven’t separated the chapters.
