As I said before, there is not much content about individual soldier tactics on paper, but there is a lot in actual training...
For example, movement and concealment are skills that need to be practiced frequently. Another example is shooting, stabbing, night fighting, street fighting, jungle fighting...
If these things are written in a book, there may only be a few key points or precautions, and some of them are for the commanders to read. But if you really want to practice them and practice them enough to go on the battlefield... then it takes a long time and practice often.
, it can even be said that no matter how long you practice, no matter how familiar you are, it is never too much.
Fortunately, most of my soldiers have come off the battlefield. Although they have no paper knowledge about some of these tactics, they have practical experience, and some are even more practical than those taught in the infantry school.
The most obvious of these is shooting.
Soldiers of this era generally have a concept, that is, "every bullet destroys an enemy"... To be precise, this is not a concept of this era, but a habit that has been formed by our army for a long time.
It is said that our army has been short of ammunition and equipment since the founding of the army. In the past, the Eighth Route Army was also called the "Three Guns and Eight Routes", which meant that each person only had three bullets, and after three shots, he had to start charging...
…
This determines that our army has a tradition of saving ammunition. This tradition can be said to have continued to influence today... In fact, the close range shooting combat example mentioned by the instructor before not only showed the bravery of "seeing red on the bayonet", but also had the factor of saving ammunition.
Inside... Only when you are close can you shoot accurately, which means soldiers are encouraged to risk their lives to save ammunition.
The most direct manifestation of this in the infantry school is that a large number of teachers use 56 and a half.
However, using this 56-half is not entirely to save bullets. Another reason is that the 56-half range accuracy is better than that of the 56-type submachine gun, so everyone prefers to use the 56-half instead of the submachine gun... This is actually the case.
Normally, everyone likes to use a gun that can shoot accurately and shoot far, but the problem is that 56 punch is more useful on the battlefield.
So when instructor Zhang used the 56 and a half to demonstrate to us the shooting movements, shooting postures and disassembly and assembly of firearms as usual, the soldiers were a little unhappy... Because we brought our own equipment to the infantry school, so we went to the infantry school with our own equipment.
There is no separate allocation, just for safety, we are asked to hand over the bullets when we enter the school. In other words, most of us use AK47.
Fortunately, this point is not difficult to solve. After all, the structure of the ak47 is basically the same as that of the 56-gun. Instructor Zhang can just replace it with a gun.
As for me, of course I can no longer use that SVD to practice marksmanship... The distance of this target is only one or two hundred meters. It is meaningless to shoot with SVD. At the same time, it is sometimes necessary on the battlefield.
A submachine gun was used, so like the soldiers, I also took a 56 for practice.
It's just that the 56 shots are really unflattering. It is said to have a range of 300 meters, but it is good to hit the target at a distance of 200 meters. And either there is something wrong with it... Listen to Scar and
Liang Lianbing and other experienced veterans said that this gun was originally quite good, but the design
The service life is set at 10,000 rounds, which means it can fire 10,000 rounds of ammunition. However, due to the 10 years of revolution, the government has greatly simplified its production process... so this gun has become like this. It can be considered good after firing a thousand rounds without any problems.
Repair it, replace it, and shoot it twice, and the three thousand rounds will almost end its life.
Okay! There are only about thirty magazines for a thousand rounds...which means that a brand new 56 punch may go wrong after a few small battles...
The most practical of these are night combat and jungle warfare... You must know that our army has been the best among experts in these two aspects in history. During the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, the Volunteer Army defeated the Americans in night combat and mountain warfare. (This is equipped by our army.
Determined by the difference, night and mountains with complex terrain can close the gap in equipment to a great extent. Of course, there are still differences between mountain warfare and jungle warfare, but there are many tactics that can be translated.)
Therefore, our army's tactical accumulation in these two aspects is still quite rich, but there have been gaps due to the lack of training of the ** army in the past ten years.
For example, as the book says... before any action, you should carefully observe the environment of the action area and imagine where you would hide if you were laying an ambush. There is a saying to remember: "The more you observe, the less you will be beaten."
Another example: ears are more useful than eyes when fighting in the jungle. The effective observation distance of the eyes in the jungle is sometimes only five to ten meters, but the ears can hear sounds of tens of meters or even hundreds of meters. Similarly, in the jungle, the effective observation distance of the eyes is sometimes only five to ten meters.
Also be careful not to let the enemy's ears "observe" you while moving...
I have to admit that these are very valuable experiences. It can even be said that I used them unconsciously in previous battles, but I didn’t know how to treat them as a piece of knowledge or an experience.
Come out... Before, I always thought it was just to see everyone's reaction, and I even thought that all my soldiers knew it!
Only then did I realize that this is not the case... There are more than a hundred people in a company, and among these more than a hundred people, there must be a mixture of good and bad. Some are careless, some are careful, some are observant, and some are observant... So there must be some people even
Quite a few people have not noticed these details. Now that this experience is put on the surface for everyone to learn from, everyone said "Oh", it turns out that such a thing still exists.
Then train this experience a few times... The training method is actually not difficult. It is to let the two troops go into the jungle to find each other and ambush each other. After practicing a few times, the soldiers will naturally develop the habit of observation and debate.
.
Compared with other students in the starting school, the advantage of our unit is that we have combat experience.
The benefit of this experience to us is not just some experience gained during the battle. In fact...the recruits who just joined the second company only fought two battles in total. Strictly speaking, this combat experience is the same as that of their fellow soldiers.
Students who have just entered the school are about the same grade.
The benefit of this experience is that the soldiers have an intuitive understanding of war and a heartfelt fear...Have seen the battlefield, of course you know what is going on on the battlefield, and at the same time, there are
Guns, cannons, corpses, and blood, especially when there is a danger of losing one's life at any time... All of this creates an invisible pressure in the hearts of the soldiers.
There is no doubt that this kind of pressure will force the soldiers to devote themselves wholeheartedly to learning... It is impossible not to devote themselves. If they go to the battlefield again in the future, these are life-saving skills, so we do not even study.
Both the active surname and the mastery speed are much faster than other classes.
Students from other classes said... No wonder it's a company of heroes, the energy is just different!
What they don't know is that this is not because of any motivation, nor because of the Company of Heroes... but simply because we have seen the battlefield, so there is more pressure to survive!
What is more difficult for the soldiers is training such as looking at pictures to find points and determining directions... The difficulty mainly comes from the soldiers' low cultural level.
I remember when Instructor Zhang was making statistics, one-third of the soldiers raised their hands to indicate that they were illiterate, and one-third had difficulty in reading... This situation made me dizzy. If I were illiterate, then what happened before?
What is the lesson about?
So reading the map has to start with literacy. Fortunately, several of my platoon leaders have no problem with literacy. The most authoritative among them is the scholar, the most domineering is Scar, and the most angry is Liang Lianbing... because
Everyone remembers his story of "passing a kiss", and this story is still widely circulated. The old soldiers pass it on to the new soldiers, and the new soldiers pass it on to the new soldiers... It is definitely possible to pass it down from generation to generation and become a company history.
If it was in the past, there would be no problem. Everyone would just pass it on secretly and laugh. Now the platoon leader is required to organize his soldiers to become literate... This is a big trouble. Because those soldiers often write "bring along"
A kiss", then raised his hand..."Platoon leader, how do you pronounce these words!".
Liang Lianbing was so angry that he cursed his mother and almost didn't hit anyone.
Zhang Fan originally didn't know what the soldiers meant by doing this. When someone secretly told her the story of "a kiss", she just laughed so much that she couldn't get up from holding her belly for a long time.
As for me...I don’t know whether it’s because the old man has laid a tactical foundation for me before or because I have systematically studied modern elementary school to university knowledge. Although I don’t study hard, I still have to cope with it for the exam.
.
This knowledge seems useless at ordinary times, such as advanced mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc. How many of them will be really used in life, but in the process of solving problems and calculations, you will practice it unknowingly.
It reflects a person’s thinking ability, analytical ability, imagination ability, learning ability, etc.
Of course, the coordination ability of hands and feet depends on some sports, such as playing basketball... The mind often releases signals to direct the hands and feet to perform various actions. Over time, the hands and feet will naturally become more flexible and faster.
This is the reason why high school students are easier to master than other soldiers no matter what they do. I think this is also the reason why high school education is required during the military reform.
In any case, I can barely be regarded as an undergraduate. Although this diploma is mixed... English CET-4 is very shameless and let people take the exam for me. But after all, I am also a modern person and I am the son of an old man.
……**! Since when did I start to be proud of the old man’s son?
As a result, these tactical moves slipped away without practicing a few times. After dismantling a firearm a few times, I was able to assemble it with my eyes closed. Needless to say, marksmanship, reading pictures, etc., I was completely ahead of the company.
Later, I heard instructor Zhang talk about it... If he hadn't witnessed this process of me never attending the meeting, he wouldn't have believed that I could master it so well in such a short period of time.
Okay... This seems to be explained by the pressure of survival on the battlefield. I don't want more and more people to suspect that I don't belong to this era like Zhang Fan. (To be continued.)
