Chapter 3 Weird shapes

After saying goodbye to Boluogo, Hart carried the half-empty bucket of French fries and walked along the familiar road to find Freya.

After a period of adjustment, the ruins area is gradually being brought back under the control of the Kenshi, and Freya's scope of activities is slowly expanding to other departments.

More and more employees know and accept Freya's existence. As a hard-working little helper, she has joined the tedious work process of the Order Bureau.

For this reason, Hart can often see Freya in the nursery. Sometimes she is helping to sweep the floor, sometimes delivering documents, or providing data analysis for others. After all, she theoretically has a huge computing unit.

, can easily crush the human brain.

"Where's Freya?"

Hart looked around. He could say hello to Freya five or six times along the way, but this time there was no one at all. Even if the Freyas were sleeping, there should be a few on duty.

During the search, Hart met Freya in the Court of Pillars. It was already late at night, and the Court of Pillars was still busy. A group of employees gathered around it, and it looked lively.

Hart saw Freya in the crowd, and he was about to say hello. Suddenly someone pulled Hart. Hart lowered his head, and another Freya touched her silently. She looked at him seriously,

Made a booing gesture.

"Come on!"

Freya said and pulled Hart behind a column. She looked sneaky, as if she had just stolen something from the sublimation furnace core.

"What's wrong?"

Hart bowed his head obediently, but with such a big body, he was a little bit invisible.

"A group of guests are here." Freya said.

"Strange guest."

Another Freya appeared behind Hart, which shocked Hart.

"A very, very strange guest."

The third Freya appeared, and she pulled Hart to poke his head out and look into the crowd.

As the staff walked and the angle changed, Hart also saw the group of people in the center of the crowd. They looked like nobles walking out of ancient oil paintings. They were dressed in exquisite and gorgeous dresses, with slim-fitting fabrics interspersed with gold.

Threads, overflowing with the faint glow of ether.

There is a mysterious and noble aura lingering around the guests, and their eyes are somewhat distracted, as if they cannot focus, and they seem not to put anyone in their eyes.

Hart had only felt a similar gaze on Bologg, and the reason why Bologg looked like this was just because he was a little short-sighted.

"they are?"

Before Hart could ask any questions, he saw the articles outlined on the backs of these guests' clothes. They were lines carved with gold wire. They were entangled together and turned into a rotating vortex, or like a mess of threads.

group.

"The group of secrets?"

Hart recognized the forces represented by this chaotic thread, and he never expected that they would appear in front of him just after he had talked to Bologo about them.

Then Hart realized that the visit of the Secret Group should be related to the recent big actions of the Bureau of Order.

"Don't you like these people?" Hart asked.

The three Freya nodded together.

As the only person with human appearance in the world in the eyes of Freya, Freya trusts Hart very much and often shares some of the world in their eyes with Hart. For example, they call Lebius full of bandages.

As a wolf, Jeffrey is a fat dog wearing sunglasses, and Deputy Director Nathaniel is a drunken bear...

Freyas like to hide in corners and spy on the staff, and point and comment on them. Hart is not sure whether this is a coincidence or Freyas' ability to accidentally hit it. Her comments are often just right.

It better explains the target’s personality.

"What do they look like in your eyes?" Hart asked quietly.

"It has the form of a human, but it looks human but not human. The skin is very white and there is no hair."

"Wearing very gorgeous clothes and hanging gold and silver jewelry."

"The neck is very long, the head is raised high, and he is wearing a pure white mask."

The three Freyas complemented each other, and soon a strange image appeared in Hart's eyes, and then the Freyas spoke again.

"One of them is a little less disturbing."

"Still beautiful."

"Seems like a good guy."

Hart followed the direction of Freya's fingers and saw the appearance of the leader in front of the guests.

She was a very young-looking woman with beautiful features, seemingly ordinary, but also somewhat handsome. The clothes that clung to her skin carved out the curves of her figure, and her short brown-red hair slightly covered her earlobes.

Hart looked at her for a few times and guessed that she should be the person in charge of the trip of the Secret Group, and she should also have a high status within the Secret Group.

"What does she look like to you?" Hart asked.

"swan."

"A swan with full wings."

"It looks beautiful, pure and noble."

Hart nodded gently, and in his mind, he temporarily classified the woman as a good person, while the other people behind her were marked by him as suspicious and dangerous.

"Do you know anything about them?" Hart asked.

Freya looked at each other, shook their heads, and said in unison, "I can't tell you."

Freya looked at each other, shook their heads, and said in unison, "I can't tell you."

Hart sighed. No matter how good his relationship with Freya was, her underlying logic would still be limited by the decision-making room and she would strictly respect the regulations of the Bureau of Order.

In other words, with Hart's authority, he has no right to know the relevant information about the visit of the Secret Group.

"Well... we are good friends, right?" Hart arched Freya's shoulders and winked at her.

"Are you here again?" Freya recognized at a glance what Hart was going to do, "No, no, no, absolutely not this time."

Hart narrowed his eyes, "If there is anything you want, I will bring it back to you next time I go out."

"You are bribing me! According to the regulations of the Order Bureau..."

"Hang on, how can giving gifts between friends be called bribery?"

Hart followed suit, "Since we are friends, it's okay to tell each other little secrets, right?"

The three Freyas looked at you, then at her, and then they started discussing in a low voice, thinking about whether to obey Hart's wishes.

Hart was eating French fries leisurely. This was not the first time that Hart had done something similar. At first, he felt a little guilty, thinking that he was lying to a child, even though this child's mental growth rate was far faster than ordinary people imagined.

But gradually, Hart became better at practice, and he even found an excuse for himself.

"I am testing whether there are loopholes in Freya's logic, so as to prevent enemies from infiltrating through it."

Hart has already thought about the relevant words, but he has no plans to submit this series of loopholes to the decision-making room until they are completely discovered.

The discussion between Freya and the others was over. The three Freyas looked at Hart seriously and put forward their requests.

"We need the stuff tomorrow."

"Double the amount."

"That's it."

After each person said it, Hart nodded repeatedly, indicating that it was absolutely okay.

Seeing Hart's promise, Freya in the middle came out and whispered in Hart's ear.

"They are here to discuss whether to honor the contract."

"What contract?"

Faced with Hart's question this time, Freya shook their heads very firmly and seriously, refusing to reveal any more information to Hart.

Seeing their tough looks, Hart no longer persisted in this. He understood that if he continued to ask, he would really violate the regulations.

After a period of testing, Hart learned that Freya would break the rules slightly for Hart to a certain extent, but once they touched important parts, they would be extremely tough.

This is not only to comply with regulations, but also to protect Hart.

Hart muttered in a low voice, "Okay, okay, I don't know what will happen next."

"So... where is the goods this time?"

At the end of the interlude, Freya and the others remembered their purpose of looking for Hart this time.

"Bring it, bring it."

Hart held the bucket in one hand, sneakily reached into his pajamas with the other hand, and then quietly took out a stack of video tapes.

"Here, I brought you all the new movies you asked for."

Freya took the videotape and carefully stuffed it under her clothes. The other two Freyas covered the bulge in their clothes.

"Thanks! See you next time!"

Freya moved the videotape like a thief.

She is the embodiment of intelligence in the virtual domain, and is also a tool with a huge amount of calculations. For Freya, just processing the tasks assigned by the decision-making room every day has taken up a lot of her calculations. For this reason, her

Every computing unit is extremely important.

But after all, Freya has a personality, not a cold machine. Besides her daily work, Freya likes to watch some movies to kill time, but she can't leave the room, so she can only ask Hart to help.

Watching movies does not take up many computing units, but when she thinks of such precious computing power being used in such a place, sometimes Freya herself feels a little guilty and feels that she is wasting her time.

But this feeling of guilt lasts for a few dozen seconds at most.

Over time, Hart got one more job like this.

Hart breathed a sigh of relief. He felt that Freya could watch the movie openly. No matter how serious the Bureau of Order was, there was still entertainment for the employees... Maybe Freya just liked the feeling of being a thief?

He was too lazy to think about that, and now Hart just wanted to go back to sleep.

"Wait a minute, Hart." Suddenly, Freya turned her head and shouted.

"what happened again?"

"You said that your true form is a hairy beast..." Freya thought for a while, "In other words, you are now wearing fur and a layer of pajamas?"

Seeing her look like she couldn't help but laugh, Hart left without looking back.
