Chapter Seventy-Seven: The Three Gathered Again

(Thanks to Thunder L Thor for the 1888 starting coins!)

As soon as the sky darkened, it started to rain on the rugged sea cliffs.

"Damn weather..."

Xia Han jumped on the cliffs with his cloak on his head. He landed on the northern coast of Qilin, but he never imagined that he would encounter rain before he even landed. Although the rain was light, the cold snow mixed with it was more terrifying than the heavy rain.

Light snow has fallen all year round at the foot of Jingxue Mountain. The scattered snowflakes have fallen hundreds of meters away from the coastline, covering the sea with a thin layer of ice.

Xia Han relied on his agile body in elf form to get ashore, but the sight that appeared in front of him was worse than he thought - mountains, steep forests... After getting ashore, there was not even a flat area the size of a basketball court for people to breathe.

No wonder the Alliance is unwilling to launch an offensive here.

Xia Han sighed inwardly, he was wet and cold, and the rain blowing in the cold wind drenched him all over. No matter how strong his body was, he would catch a cold.

He quickly speeded up and ran into the frost-white forest. The trees in the forest had lush branches and leaves, but there wasn't much green - white was their color. Xia Han didn't know what these trees with snow-white needles were called, although they looked very beautiful.

, but now he has no intention to appreciate it.

"Little guy, found... little guy!"

A familiar and surprising voice suddenly reached his ears. Xia Han, who was looking down at the road and running, looked up and saw Bai Xue in front of him, carrying a big bag and running like a whirlwind.

"Hey!"

She braked suddenly, causing snowflakes to fly and leave two scratches on the ground. Bai Xue put down the package without saying a word, took out a rain-proof cloak and handed it to Xia Han.

"Thanks."

Xia Han was thankful that the female thief arrived in time, and quickly changed his cloak. Once the cloak was changed, the rain from the outside could no longer reach him, but his already soaked body did not improve much.

This scene took place on the evening after the Orcs launched their attack on the Suzaku Continent. Xia Han left the southbound fleet and took a small boat to land at the foot of Jingxue Mountain alone. This was the itinerary he and Bai Xue had agreed upon before, otherwise Bai Xue would not have done it.

Will let him leave the Sky Temple.

"Why are you earlier than me? Have the mage troops arrived?"

Xia Han covered his head with a cloak and asked. He asked Bai Xue to mix with the mage troops and come to Jingxue Mountain to meet up, but the mage troops should be one step behind Xia's army.

"Before the main team arrived, we thieves and magicians who were good at concealment were sent to explore the way." Bai Xue explained, but she stared at Xia Han in confusion: "How could those humans let you go so easily? Are there no guards?"

Xia Han shook his head and smiled.

"I said that I would personally form an alliance with the Jingxue Tribe. How could they prevent me from leaving?" After he said this, a cunning light flashed in his eyes: "As for the guards, they were left behind by me..."

He moves in elf form, and of course he cannot let others follow him.

"Well done!" Bai Xue was very happy to hear these words. She didn't want anyone to follow her: "I want to be with you during this journey...those humans are too much of a hindrance."

She had already decided to act alone. As for the mission of the mage army - who cares? Bai Xue put the package away and prepared to carry it on her back.

"Give it to me..." Xia Han glanced at it, stretched out his hand and put the package into a different space.

This action made Bai Xue's eyes widen: "When did you have storage equipment?" She was a little surprised, and Xia Han didn't want to reveal too much: "Someone will give it to you after you become the king!"

There was no flaw in this answer. Bai Xue put aside her doubts and led Xia Han forward: "I found a cave where I can stay overnight in a valley not far away. I'll stay there tonight."

She said it was not far, Xia Han walked for two full hours.

When it was pitch black and the vast cold snowfield shone in the moonlight, they found the cave in the valley where two mountains intersected.

[The thief is so agile.]

When entering the cave, Bai Xue still didn't have much fatigue on her face - contrary to Xia Han. She asked Xia Han to take out the dry firewood she picked up on the road from the alien space, and hummed a song to set up a campfire.

"Is it okay to light a fire here?" Xia Han looked at the cave, which was only a dozen meters long, with some worry: "Will the fire be discovered?"

He did not believe that the Orcs did not set up surveillance in Crystal Snow Mountain, and maintaining concealment was very important.

"It shouldn't matter. How can you take a bath without making a fire?" Bai Xue pointed to Xia Han's wet clothes: "What if you catch a cold?"

"It doesn't matter, the moisture was left a few hours ago." Xia Han looked down at his clothes, shook his head and said, "I used magic to increase my body temperature on the way, so I won't catch a cold."

Of course...if Bai Xue didn't give him a cloak to protect him from the rain, Xia Han would definitely be freezing now.

In order to prevent accidents, Xia Han stopped Bai Xue from lighting a fire. He changed his clothes, and then took out dry food from another space: "I brought a lot of dry food with me when I left the fleet. I can eat it without lighting a fire."

Bai Xue could only ask Xia Han to collect the dry firewood again.

The cold wind of the snow-capped mountains whistled outside the cave. The two of them sat in the cave and ate, their stomachs warmed up. Bai Xue rolled her eyes and began to think about how to spend the night.

"Little guy, I only brought one sheet..."

While she was still talking, Xia Han suddenly raised his head and looked sharply outside the cave. Bai Xue was stunned, and then heard the sound of soft footsteps.

"who!"

Xia Han stood up earlier than her and spoke out.

"found it..."

A small figure walked in from outside the cave, lifted up his cloak covered with snowflakes, and said: "Hey, my dear disciple..."

Li Mo - No, Fiona... Xia Han almost popped his eyes out.

He stuttered and asked: "You...why are you here?"

"I followed Bai Xue." Fiona pointed at Bai Xue and smiled: "I wondered why she wasn't sad at all, so I quietly put the tracking spell on her..."

"As expected, you have discussed it."

Although she was smiling, there was a chill in her eyes: "The only one who is kept in the dark is me, a useless teacher, right?"

For a moment, the scene was a little awkward.

"Your Highness Princess!" Bai Xue responded and ran over quickly: "We didn't want to hide it from you. Aren't we afraid that you would be sad?"

"Actually, as long as you say something, I will bring you here without using the tracking technique..."

There was no sign of joking on her face, so she was probably telling the truth.

Fiona glanced at Bai Xue with a strange look, then stared at Xia Han: "If you hadn't hid it from me, then this was your brother's order?"

elder brother?

Xia Han was confused for a while, why she hadn't figured out this misunderstanding yet.

"Ah, so..." So he took advantage of this strange misunderstanding to get out of the predicament.
