Old on top, small on bottom

When I was a child, I listened to storytelling and often heard a sentence.

"Hero, please spare my life!"

The people who said this were undoubtedly little people. At that time, I was only interested in watching the heroes' gratification and revenge, and I didn't understand the true meaning of this sentence at all.

Even last year, I didn't understand.

This year, I understood it all at once.

Last winter, several lumps appeared on my father-in-law's neck, he started to have a low-grade fever, and his body became very weak. At that time, my father-in-law helped me take care of the child for a while. I thought I was tired, so I went to the hospital for several examinations, but no diagnosis was ever made.

Later, I received a result of lymphatic tuberculosis in a hospital in our small area. So I was prescribed some necessary treatments. In May of this year, my condition suddenly worsened and I developed hepatic coma.

So I went to a large hospital out of town and it was confirmed that the liver damage was caused by drugs. I stayed in the hospital for more than 40 days before I recovered.

It has only been more than a week since he returned home. He has been suffering from a low fever. His family is worried and persuaded him to go for a pathology. The results came out today and they are very bad. I think he will have to go to the cancer hospital in Tianjin tomorrow and the day after tomorrow to have a look...

I mentioned the matter about my father-in-law before. Let’s talk about other things...

In May, my niece had a high fever that wouldn't go away for several days. She went to several hospitals but couldn't get a diagnosis. Finally, she went to Harbin and Beijing, and it took more than half a month to recover.

In early June, when my father-in-law was seriously ill, my son had a fever and was hospitalized. He was diagnosed with a high fever caused by herpes and stayed in the hospital for a week.

At the end of June, my grandma was hospitalized and diagnosed with colon cancer. She had undergone surgery half a month ago and is now recuperating at home.

A few days ago, my grandpa was hospitalized for a week and was just discharged yesterday.

So, I understood what is...

My wife has a regular job and works from 8 to 5, my mother-in-law has high blood pressure and she has to take care of my father-in-law, and my father and mother have not yet retired and are not in the same city as me. The heavy responsibility of taking care of my son falls on me, an unemployed writer.

My son and I sleep together every night. I get up at six in the morning. In addition to coding at home, I run around helping with various chores at home. My son goes to kindergarten during the day, but I have to pick him up at 3:30 in the afternoon.

Go home and then you don’t have to do anything.

Before my wife gets off work, I have to prepare the food and cook it when she comes back. After that, I play with the children until my son goes to bed at 8:30, so I don’t have any free time. After my son goes to bed, I have almost no energy.

When it is exhausted, where is the space left for coding?

To be honest, almost every day I just put it on the pillow and go to sleep.

I am not complaining about this kind of life. I love my family, I am happy and happy, and I am willing to give everything for them. Of course, this requires some kind of sacrifice.

In addition to money, time is also sacrificed, and for writers, time is the means of production.

I haven't been able to update well during this period, so I think I should say something to ask for your understanding. Maybe I will have to go to Tianjin in a few days to help out as much as I can.

Therefore, it is impossible to speed up the update for the time being, so I can only ask for your forgiveness here.

"Brothers and sisters, I'm sorry!"

But I try my best to keep updating, one chapter a day. This is my limit and my commitment.

I will make up for it one day when I can code happily!
