seconds like years

Miao Miao stamped her little feet dissatisfiedly, standing at the door of the castle, staring at her angrily.

Her head hurt even more, and she looked at Shi Jing with pleading eyes, "Shi Jing..."

Her voice was like the meow of a kitten, and to Shi Jing's ears, it sounded a little more coquettish.

He raised his eyebrows, looked at Qian Qianqian, hesitated for a moment, and then nodded with Qian Qianqian's pleading eyes, "Okay, I'll accompany you in."

After receiving Shi Jing's agreement, Qian Qianqian was so happy that she immediately beamed.

"Thank you, thank you, Master Shi."

When she was happy, the name she had been calling in her heart suddenly came out of her mouth smoothly.

She had never found Shi Dashen to be so cute, kind and considerate.

Shi Jing paused for a moment because of her words "Master Shi", and then a slight smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

Seeing her excited expression, he also felt happy in his heart.

He bent down and picked up Miaomiao, heading into the castle and walking along the route marked inside.

There was some green light in the gloomy castle, and every few steps, some frightening and extremely lifelike ghostly sounds came out.

Qian Qianqian was so frightened that she kept pushing towards Shi Jing's side.

He held Shi Jing's arm tightly with his hand, closed his eyes, and his whole body was soaked with cold sweat.

A pair of cold hands touched her shoulders, and she jumped up in fright, "Ah!!!"

Behind him, a figure in white with long hair covering his face appeared, scaring Qian Qianqian to the point of losing his mind.

There are some real people playing ghosts in this castle, and the level of realism is so high that it can almost scare you out of your wits.

Her hand gripped Shi Jing tighter and tighter, but Miao Miao, who was being held by Shi Jing, had doubts in her eyes because of Qian Qianqian's reaction.

Seeing Qian Qianqian screaming every few steps, she finally couldn't bear it and asked, "Teacher Qian, why do you keep screaming?"

However, Miaomiao, who is only five years old, does not understand what a ghost is at all, so naturally she will not be scared out of her wits.

But Qian Qianqian was different. She had always been afraid of ghosts. She didn't dare to watch any horror movies or horror novels. Now that she was in such a realistic environment, it would be strange not to be scared to death.

But I didn't want to be laughed at by Shi Jing, so I had to be brave, my eyes rolling because of guilt, "Because... because screaming can exaggerate the atmosphere of terror, I will cooperate with you and scream a few times."

Her answer made Shi Jing couldn't help but chuckle, thinking to himself:

This woman is obviously scared and dares to act bold.

From the time she begged him to accompany them in outside, he knew that this woman was afraid of ghosts.

He had just looked from the outside and found that it would take ten minutes to get out of this old castle, but now, they were only five minutes away, and the second half of the journey was more terrifying than the first half.

He was so frightened now that he could not imagine that in the second half of the episode, the woman holding his arm that was so painful would actually faint from fright.

A secret smile flashed across his eyes, and the three of them continued walking towards the road ahead.

He felt the hand on his arm tightening, and even someone's whole face was buried in his arm.

During this period, an obviously vibrato-like questioning voice came out of his arm:

"Shi... Shi Jing, how long will it take for us to reach the door?"
